@Templar Knight Read through your criticisms and I'll add to my sheet the extra information. However, I did read somewhere that Hunters were immune to being turned. Quote from TV Tropes, which is where I get a lot of my information: "One of the inherent powers that all imbued hunters receive is that it's impossible to be turned into a monster. Of course, the monsters don't know that, and they might try to turn you anyway..." Then again, this is just one source telling me this. I'll change it if I get enough evidence that this is not the case.

In Hunter the Reckoning thats a thing... due to the weird woojg of Hunter the Reckoning they are given powers by spirits who will do them the solid of making the embrace fatal
So I guess its immunity in the sense that its impossible to turn them into Vampires without killing them. The Dead will not rise again. Lol
Karasoth: Impressive work on Aliester Crowley, I'll certainly PM you with more details of my thoughts, but atm things look good to me. In terms of public concerns, my hope is that your modified CS doesn't intimidate anyone else, this is still a casual RP, so nobody needs to go to the same lengths, but detail is still impressive nonetheless. As for you Fellsing, your sheet is also pretty good, though I do have a couple reservations to point out. The first is not entirely your fault, in that I have added a more specific Hunters section to the general character apps on the OOC page, so since your character is a hunter, you'll be able to add more detailed info to it. This leads into my second issue, how your backstory ends. I'll admit that I'm not knowledgeable of Hunters and their relations to Vampirism, but I'm skeptical that anyone would be "immune" to The Embrace. Holy Warriors and Hunters of past times have been Embraced before, to their depression, resentment, or acceptance of the role reversal. My suggestion as to how to resolve the issue, is perhaps having it be as if Eleanor (in a slight violation of the Masquerade on her part), had proposed the Embrace to Ivy, upon which she receives let's say, another interdiction from The Messengers to convince her not to go through with it, her rejection only makes Eleanor resolve to either forcibly embrace her, make her a ghoul, or simply kill her in order to protect The Masquerade. Then the other Hunters burst in, as they had been tracking and monitoring Eleanor's activities for some time, and intervene in order to protect who appears to be their newest recruit, in essence they use the vampire as a test of sorts, though they would have killed her regardless of Ivy's fate. That's just my suggestion, perhaps you'll come up with something better or unique to yourself as you fill in the rest of the Hunter subsection in the OOC. WHICH TO REMIND ALL NEW PEOPLE INTERESTED, THE OOC IS UP! LINK IS HERE: http://www.roleplayerguild.com/topics/75880/posts/ooc
Name: Tomaso Vivaldi Sex: Male Date of Birth: 1598 Image/Description: Species: Kindred Background/Occupation: Archon of the Camarilla, in his past life, he was a Banker and one-time attempter at Alchemy Residence: Has a haven in Venice, Italy. Though for now his current whereabouts are unknown. Personal Possessions: Carries a wooden staff, a silver dagger in the shape of the Camarilla ankh, a couple blood packs, his pocketwatch, his wallet, and his book on Thaumaturgy rituals and spells everywhere he goes. Backstory: Born in Venice to a modestly successful merchant family during the Renaissance, Tomaso Vivaldi grew up under the shadow of older brothers and sisters, dooming his chances of ever actually taking over his family's business, he was still expected to aid the family however he might. Studying as banker's apprentice, he developed a fascination for alchemy and the occult in his spare time, in spite of his parent's harsh reprimands to devote his time to the family and Christian teachings. He bought tomes on Paracelsus and other alchemists, but despite all the ritual and precise instruction, he only made a fool of himself trying to turn lead into gold, or perform other alchemical transformations. Dissatisfied, he buried his nose in his work, eventually becoming a banker himself right before the Black Plague hit Venice again in his lifetime in 1630. The Plague hit Tomaso's family hard, killing his father and many of his siblings within months, fearing death from possibly having caught the plague himself and the death of the rest of his family imminent, he scoured the streets of Venice looking for a cure. That fateful night, a pale-skinned man claiming Roman descent by the name of Carlo Urbino approached his pleas for help, and promised him a cure from the plague back at his apartment. Desperate and unsuspecting, Tomaso followed Carlo, to be cured of the plague, but also to be embraced as a member of the Tremere Clan that night, and joining the legions of the Lost and the Damned. His remaining family members would eventually be saved by being made Ghouls of Tomaso, though he left them to their business, never fully sealing the blood bond, and merely prolonging their lives. As his sire, Carlo explained the basics of Kindred society to Tomaso and taught him of his new abilities of Thaumaturgy, duties to his clan, and responsibilities as a Cainite. He also introduced him to many members the fairly recently formed Camarilla when they held their Conclave in Venice, 4 years later. Afterwards, he lost his Fledgling status and began serving his clan as they plied their machinations and those of the Camarilla across Europe for nearly the next 400 years. All the while practicing his art of Thaumaturgy and mastering his control over blood, fighting against Sabbat, Hunters, and other enemies which waged war with the Camarilla over the centuries. In 2011, when the Camarilla met again in their annual Venetian Conclave, and new Justicars were appointed by the Inner Circle. One in particular, Sophia Eckhardt of Clan Toreador, selected him, in secret towards the Conclave's conclusion, as one of her Archons, whereupon he has served her loyally for the past 4 years. Personal affiliations: Justicar Sophia Eckhart (Blood Bonded to) (Kindred Only) Clan: Tremere Embraced: 1630 Generation: 10th Generation Disciplines: Thaumaturgy, Presence, Domination, Auspex. Weaknesses: Fire, Sunlight Sire?: Carlo Urbino (Deceased) Rank?: Kindred Childe(r)?: N/A Political Affiliations: Camarilla Anything else of note?: He is of the 5th Circle of Mastery within the Tremere Clan
So, I was right, right? I mean, Hunter the Reckoning based hunters?
hellrazor
I guess so, since it fits in with Classic V:TM. Even so, I changed the section on Hunters to reflect it.
According to the wiki, many hunters work either solo or in small cells, sometimes dedicating themselves to fighting all creatures of darkness, or specializing in particular ones. Larger groups, called compacts and conspiracies (Like the modern day Inquisition, The Society of Leopold) which wield global reach and influence at their disposal. Some hunters are indiscriminate in what creatures they kill, viewing all with equal disdain, other rarer groups offer forms of redemption or penance, as they do not view ALL creatures of darkness as inherently evil. Here is the main page I'm using for info on it, the Inquisition page may be another:http://whitewolf.wikia.com/wiki/Hunter_(WOD)

I feel the need to point out that Hunter the Vigil is nWoD (new World of Darkness), and part of a later edition of the setting than Vampire the Masquerade, which classic or old World of Darkness (oWoD). Creatures -vampires, werewolves, etc. from the nWoD are less powerful (at least starting out) than those found in oWoD. The nWoD was also designed so you could easily do a mixed campaign, where classic WoD was less compatible to some extent. I'm not trying to tell you how to run your game nor am I saying you can't use some of the background info from Hunter the Vigil, and if you want Hunters to be normal humans in your game that's cool too. After all, it's your game =P Personally, I prefer it that way, especially since I am more versed in the nWoD. Like I said, I just felt the need to point this out. Info on the Hunters made for the classic setting can be found here.
Divine Darkness
Thx. Again, I'm most well-versed with Vampires from Bloodlines, Werewolves and Hunters aren't my forte. So I'm always up for criticism. I have changed the Hunter section accordingly.
Are you still accepting new players ? If so, I'll get a CS up by tomorrow.
Arthas32
Currently I have no limit so far on characters, so go ahead.
Just a quick edit here guys, I'm gonna add in a section in the templates for Hunter apps, seeing as I realized how varied they could be. For those who don't know, you don't need to be a Hunter if you are playing as a Human, they are probably just one of the easier Human characters to play as in this RP. Srry for the complications, hellrazor, lol.
So I've decided I'm going to play a hunter character. Is there anything I really need to know about hunters before I start my CS? I know they're humans who can see past the Masquerade, are immune to being turned and have couple of supernatural abilities that give them an edge when fighting the enemy. I also know that they hear voices that tell them to 'take back the Earth'. Is there anything else I need to know?

Old Clan has a hatred of their younger clan mates and sees the Sabbat as a foolhardy child's war. Old Clan are staunchly independent and fiercely territorial. However, they also have a fairly determined curiousity to the happenings of their fellow cainites. Regardless, of the location I am confident I can fit him in.

Very well, I'll allow it. BTW for everyone else. Here is the OOC, no idea how well it turned out, but here it is: http://www.roleplayerguild.com/topics/75880/posts/ooc
2015, London, Great Britain. The "Final Nights" of the descendants of Caine loom over the world, though one would not know it when looking upon the night life of this modern metropolis. Kindred of all kinds and ages roam the darkness, with no end of choice Kine to satiate The Thirst, few predators or enemies to fear on the streets, and a stable and respected leadership in the Camarilla overseeing affairs through the Prince and his Council of Primogen. The city is a model of stable Cainite society, which the Camarilla has held almost uncontested since before the Glorious Revolution. But nothing lasts forever, often not even Vampires, and neither did this situation... One night, a week before the start of Autumn, the Sheriff of London, Jeremiah Drummond, arrived late to his Prince's dinner party celebrating the 400th year since Haley Montismard, a close associate and ally of his in Clan Toreador, had been embraced. Unlike previous occasions, where parties were held in the Prince's personal haven, or in those of one of his Primogen, Haley had insisted that the event take place within Big Ben, that she may see the precise second she turned 400 years old. Confident in his power, and that of his elder guests, The Prince obliged the request. As the Sheriff approached the iconic clocktower, close to midnight, a massive fireball engulfed the tower as an explosion raked it. In shock and disbelief, Jeremiah could do nothing as his lord and all in attendance within the tower were turned to ash, the leader of the Camarilla in London and most of his close friends and allies snuffed out in an instant. London's fire department rushed to the scene, dousing the flames, while the police and city officials called it a terror attack by the increasingly desperate ISIS militants, and London trembled with suspicion and fear. This demeanour was mirrored in the night as the Kindred were abuzz with rumour and fear trying to guess at the truth, many demanding justice for the crime from the surviving Primogen. A throne in interregnum, a city gripped by fear, and potentially more Kindred unlives at risk from an as yet unknown enemy, the Inner Circle appoints a Justicar to the situation, who has yet to publically make an appearance in London, though their reputation casts a wide shadow. But she is more prudent than some Justicars, and feels that this situation may require some unorthodox methods in order to discover the truth, protect the Masquerade, and restore Camarilla rule to London's Kindred... This is where you guys come in, you are all Vampires, Humans, or Werewolves in and around London eking out an existence as this hell storm brews. Each of you have your own stake in the outcome of the investigation and days to come, even if they want no part of it. I'll admit, this is the first RP I've really attempted as a GM, but the interest has been great enough in helping steer this that I feel we have a good solid foundation to proceed from. I don't expect much, since this is casual, but I do expect a few things from you guys. Here are the simple rules: 1:No God moding (Although this game involves supernatural elements, you are still not a walking god. Always play according to what your character is) 2:No forcing actions onto other players or their characters unless agreed upon mutually. 3:OOC Talk stays in the OOC or Interest check section (preferably OOC) 4:Be respectful to other players, as they are expected to be respectful to you. 5:No spam or griefing on any sections of the RP. Main source of instant-info for those not acquainted with the World of Darkness Universe: http://whitewolf.wikia.com/wiki/Main_Page Here are character sheet formats: Name: Sex: Date of Birth: (Present Day in our game means literally, so 2015 is the latest) Image/Description: Species:(Human, Kindred, or Werewolf) Background/Occupation: Residence: Personal Possessions: (Very broad in this, just list anything you feel is worth noting that your character may have with them on a given day, or at their home) Backstory:(Roughly 1-2 paragraphs is the minimum I'm expecting, there is no real maximum cap) Personal affiliations: (Do they know anyone in particular? If so, what's their relationship with them. ex. Joe Schmo (Personal Enemy). Be as detailed as you wish) (Hunters Only) Creed: Group (If any? Could be a real sect of the Inquisition or another Hunter group, or a made up one.): Years served as a Hunter: Speciality(if any): Edges:(Similar to Vampiric Disciplines, except these will most likely not be supernatural traits, more likely superhuman if anything.) Morality: (Are you like most Hunters, a radical zealot who seeks the destruction of all creatures of darkness no matter the cost? Or are you a radical among radicals and believe that not all are inherently evil?) Relative Knowledge of the Supernatural:(Kind of a loaded question, since most Hunters although they know more than the average person, technically don't know more than the average fiction reader. However there are differences, some could be fully aware that Kindred exist, but not werewolves for example. It varies on experience and connections.) (Kindred Only) Clan: (Note that Caitiff, or Clanless, is also an option) Embraced:(Year they became a Vampire) Generation:(FYI and it should be self-explanatory but for those who don't know, NO ANTEDILUVIANS OR CAINE WANNABES! So the range is 6-15) Disciplines: (I'm willing to be lenient on these, just don't go overboard. Also put how powerful each discipline is, if you feel its worth noting) Weaknesses:(Those associated with the Clan, along with any others you guys add depending on Background, if you so desire) Sire?: Rank?:(Fledgling/Neonate, Kindred, or Elder?) Childe(r)?: Political Affiliations: (Camarilla, Anarch, Independent, or Undeclared. This isn't really a huge deal, as players could change over the game, but its up to you guys.) Anything else of note?: (Werewolves Only) Auspice: Tribe: (If accepted in one) Breed: Gifts: Pack/Packmates: Totem: Rites/Howls: Rank: Weaknesses: If you have any questions, or want to help out as a Co-GM, just let me or hellrazor know on here
