Current Just heard the news about Woojin from Stray Kids. I'm so devastated and literally shaking. This feels like a really sick joke, but I hope he and the other 8 members are okay. #ThankYouWoojin

Misaki tried his hardest to mind his own business, but there were far too many sights and smells that were new to him, that he couldn't resist looking around with wonder in his eyes.

"Are those things sharp?" The merman would have thought that the other was talking to someone else, but luckily he was attentive enough to realize a tall and clearly athletic boy with long white hair, bright blue, or were they green? eyes and milky white skin sitting nearby him. He saw how the other gestured to his fins, in particular the fins that sprouted just behind his ears. The one in question couldn't help but smile brightly at the question. It was more than obvious that the white haired boy wasn't trying to mock him or anything, so he obliged, bringing his free hand up to move the current rubbery fin.

"They get really sharp when I'm dehydrated, but n-now their harmless! You can touch them if you w-want!" Misaki explained with a pleasant smile before holding out an arm if he wanted to really touch. It felt nice to talk to some his age and that probably wouldn't beat him to a pulp for how he looked, but instead because of his quirk.

It took a moment for him to realize that he hadn't even introduced himself yet! Fumbling around in attempts to get the right words out, Misaki's face began to redden with embarrassment. "Oh, s-sorry! Uh, I...um...my name is M-Misaki Kaito! It's a pleasure t-to, um, m-meet you..." His voice slowly dropped to a whisper as he lowered his head and didn't know what to say afterwards. His face was practically burning from embarrassment. Hopefully he didn't scare off the first person that came up to him at this school...

With a lukewarm water bottle grasped tightly around his hands, Misaki stared up at his new school and the place he would be living from now on. He couldn't say that he would miss his parents too much, as they forced him to call everyday, plus he took a extra long bath before arriving here, so he would definitely be hydrated and less prone to stabbing people with his now jelly-like fins; he even brought a water bottle to help with that. The boy was almost certain that he was ready for anything that would be thrown at him this first day, and he was hoping to get through it without making a big fool of himself...

Misaki strolled as confidently as he could towards the academy, avoiding as much eye contact as possible. His ombre hair swished as if underwater as he couldn't keep his eyes downcast from the large buildings that were now surrounding him. And after getting swift remarks from a rather tall woman, Misaki hurried to the assembly hall as fast as his scaly legs could take him, trying his best to ignore the glances and stares he was given.

Teal green eyes widened with surprise as he entered the main building, it finally sinking in that he was going to this school, starting at the moment. Unable to hide the fear and anticipation on his face, Misaki took a swig from his water bottle, only to recoil at the warm taste.

It didn't take Misaki long at all to find the assembly hall as waves of people were making their way into the double doors. Misaki hurriedly slid into the mass and followed along, a small but happy smile accentuating his features.

Once he finally got inside, Misaki went to find his year, which was closer to the front then he had expected. He ended up taking a seat right behind a small girl with beautiful baby blue hair he would want to swim in. Of course he didn't say such a thing out loud, scratching the back of his ear fin with a silly grin at just the though, but simply admired from where he was, unsure of if he was ready to engage with someone so suddenly. His gaze shifted slightly to another girl as white as snow, with silky black locks of hair not much farther away; she had to be new too, right? Regardless of such, Misaki took a shaky breath, dreading for the worst, but hoping for the best.
@Renny Beel's fc reminds me of Tsukiyama from Tokyo Ghoul for some reason...anyway! He seems like a really cool dude! No problems with him!
@Renny Alrighty, I fixed up my form. Hopefully I've got it right this time? I'm a little iffy about her stats though. I made her talent and Nen 3, but maybe it should be 2 instead?

Kaleo Sima || 10 || Lo Town || None || Authur@wxps350

Kaleo kept his gaze focused on the ground until another question was thrown out to the older man. He took a quick glance in the direction of the owner of the voice, only to see a boy that looked even older than Robin, with white hair and similar yellow eyes to the red boy. And although he could hear Robin sucking his teeth in the background, Kaleo thought it was a good question to ask, especially if it meant getting a head start from the others kids; he knew he would need it.

Kaleo simply scratched the back of his head to Ken's response, nodding slowly in understanding. Of course he couldn't tell them what they would find there, it would just ruin the secret! Once that was out of the way, Kaleo immediately brought his head back down again, hoping that the older man wouldn't put him on the spot too badly. Maybe he should have just asked Robin to ask the question in his stead...

While the child was expecting some kind of dejection in terms of a response, Kaleo instead received a bit of hope that it was possible, albeit time consuming, but he always read books for days on end, so what difference would training his pokemon be?Although not showing it on his face, Kaleo was glad that he was able to answer his question as Ken was immediately bombarded with other questions, mostly by Robin and the kid that had way to much family with him.

After a while and saying his quick 'see ya later' to Robin, it was only him and the white haired boy who asked the smart question earlier along with Ken Adams himself. He knew he had plenty of questions to ask the man, but that would probably take a few more years to actually formulate what he wanted to ask, so instead he claimed he had all of his questions answered, bowing slightly in thanks while Hana did the same.

“You should watch Elder Algenon battle tonight in the Elder’s battle at the Tournament tonight son! His rattata is ancient but their bond may give you something to think about!” Ken told him as he simply nodded. He already knew he was going to watch the Tournament tonight, so long as he wasn't too tired or anything; and this conversation was even more of an incentive to go! Seeing the man hold out a hand to both him and the white haired boy, Kaleo shook weakly before bringing his hand back down to his side.

When Ken brought up the other's father, Kaleo couldn't help but cast a curious glance over to the white haired boy, eyes wide with interest now. His father was a trainer too? Looking back to see Ken making his way off to his other duties, Kaleo looked back up at the teen he was left with.

Immediately, the older boy stated that his question was stupid, only making the child slouch in defeat. Was it really that stupid? With a frown, Kaleo readied his notepad and pencil and began scribbling down his statement, holding it up to the other when he was done.
"I can't communicate with words, so I was just scared that I couldn't become one. Sorry." Was what the note said, the boy slowly putting it down when he noticed the other hold up his pokedex and aim it at Hana. Immediately, Kaleo began writing again. "Thank you! It's my grandfather's. I'm getting my first pokemon at the Sanctuary." Was what he first wrote before retracting the notepad and writing more down. "Is it true that your father is a pokemon trainer too? Did he participate in the league?" As he finished writing, Kaleo shoved the note into the other's face, staring at him expectantly in the process.
  • The Magician - You're overestimating Sora's memory capacity and underestimating just how grounded in realism Togashi's exaggerations are. Nen is a powerful force but in order to perform feats with fire, air, water, and earth you would have to learn those elements intimately. (Think of Kurapika's training with his chains). Heres the perfect example of this. Killua was born into a place where shock torture was far-too common, he spent years going through this. Sora wouldn't be capable of learning those four elements enough to cast them as a Transmuter, not at the ages of 13 - 15 and not without injuring herself severely (She's be far more disfigured than she is unless she found someone to heal her). If she was to go the route of Conjuration she would need rules and at max (which I doubt she'd obtain mastery) would be 80% effective. I believe this Nen ability alone would have filled her memory capacity.
    • Judgement is Conjuration at its best (100%). At most you'd be able to obtain 80% effectiveness. To force someone into Zetsu would require the power of Vows and Limitations on top of a mastery of said technique.
    • Strength seems like Ren and Ryu working in tandem. Its more like you're a Specialist then a Transmuter. However, you'd need to impose the harshest of punishments if you wanted all of these abilities to pass through the way they are. IE. Every second Kurapika uses Emperor Time is an hour off his life.
  • I'm down with that. However, unless he/she initiated Sora through baptism, it would take months of slow and steady training to open her aura nodes.
  • She's far too young to have mastered such a diverse array of Nen abilities.
  • I'm def not trying to be a hardass. But it just seems unlikely that she'd have accomplished all this. A lot of this could be explained by making her a Conjurer, creating rules and restrictions (vows and limitations), and possibly making her a Specialist. Along with expanding/tweaking her backstory a bit.

  • The Magician -- Okay, I totally see what you mean when it comes to Sora not being able to do such feats with her Nen at such a young age. So, how about I do you one better? The Magician within tarot cards is known to be able to wield the elements at their disposal, but instead of having Sora be able to do that, The Magician could give her the power to teleport? Very similarly to Knov and his Hide and Seek? But instead of it being super expansive with the separate floors and such, her teleportation acts more like the portal gun in the Portal games? I think this would still be under Conjuration and I wouldn't be against changing Sora's Aura type to make it more believable? And if this still isn't okay, I could have her start with a much more simpler card and go with that?
  • Judgement -- Much like what I said before, I could always just change her Aura Type to Conjurer since she seems to be going in that direct anyways. And with the whole Zetsu situation, since it wouldn't be possible without vows and limitations set upon it, and that I can't think of any that could be set, it could be more like the card instead releases a burst of Nen indicating that said person lied? Then again, like the last one, I could have Sora just start with a simpler card and go with that.
  • Strength -- Really? Harsh punishments just to enhance the whatever the card is touching, making it stronger? Maybe I could restrict the kinds of objects that Sora can strengthen? Would that help? And like the other two, I could go with a different card.
  • Sora won't go through baptism. She'll take the months to open up all the nodes and such.
  • I'm cool with changing her aura type and such, but now that we've been going through Sora's nen ability, the more I think it might just be better to change it? I don't know, I just doesn't seem like it's coming together...I'll wait for your response to this, but I'll still think of some other Nen abilities that could fit her. Oh, and I don't think you're being a hardass. I happy that you're taking the time to help me get my character to ore a believable state. So don't worry about criticizing my stuff, really ^^

Response to your fix
  • Give me three Nen attacks that would come from Sora's Nen ability, what type of aura do they use, and the training she went through to emulate said effect. As for the Hunter Exam, yes (3 attempts is good enough). Also who hinted Sora towards nen? as I see that being the only way she could have accessed it without knowledge beforehand.
  • I needs her age lol. It would be a major help in solidifying my rulings.
  • lol mistype. I apologize for the confusion.o

Nen Attacks
  • The Magician -- Transmuter -- With this card, Sora is about to transmute her Nen to make it one of the four core elements: air, water, earth, or fire. She can only use one element at a time. If she wants to change the element she would have to remove the cards effect and wait the allotted time before she can use the card again. She did a vary similar training that Killua had to do: she stood in front of a blowtorches, sat under waterfalls, touch and had rocks of of all kids thrown at her, and withstood tornadoes with her nen activated to avoid any real harm to herself. She made her body and nen experience the elements in some of their harshest forms, and it took roughly two months for her get a good grasp on this card.
  • Judgement -- Not Sure what type this would be; maybe Conjurer? -- This card is a lot like Kurapika's Dowsing chain. Placing the card on a person, Sora will ask a yes or no question. If said person speaks the truth, nothing will happen. If the person lies, the card will force said person into Zetsu before sending a blast of Nen upon where Sora places the card; casting judgement. Sora learned how to do this, via tests on those that taught her nen. (This one is still super iffy as I'm still thinking on how would be able to train this skill without hurting someone.)
  • Strength -- Enhancer -- As you can probably guess, this card strengthens whatever the card is placed upon. In order to get a good grasp of this card, Sora had to train enhancing and strengthening her aura around herself and other objects automatically. Everywhere she went, she unconscious enveloped whatever she was touching with her enhanced nen until it became second nature.

I would say the one who hinted Sora on Nen would be one of the test-takers (like Hisoka and Illumi) that befriended her on her final attempt of the exam. How does that sound?

Okay, I edit in her age one everything else is situated. I'll probably make her 13-15 years old. Haven't decided on a number yet since I'll have to change the past a little bit.

Oh okay, lol.
@Bornlucky lol, that's so crazy! :) I feel like they would have sort of like an 'opposites attract' kinda relationship tbh.
