Remember kids, never let anyone convince you to take college physics over the summer! :'D
Capella let out a faint sigh of relief to hear that Ash wasn't too upset about his sweatpants. Maybe it was just a small rip...or he was lying for the sake of calming the lighter blonde's nerves. Before he could even question it further, Capella arched his eyebrows in suspense as to what the other had in mind to relieve the situation they found themselves in, only to bust into a large grin. This was perfect! If he went with someone else, he wouldn't be as paranoid to go in! It's a win-win situation! "Awesome! That sounds great!" Capella smiled happily.
With the new inclusion of the woman, Siobhan Murphy, shooting a few dirty looks at what Ash referred to Toasty, and hints of a good place to go and get food, it seemed like they were all set! Ignored the hand he couldn't see once again, Capella bow slightly before standing straight with a happy smile. "Oh thanks for the recommendation! My name is Capella Xing. And this is my demon dog, Toasty." He played along, said dog barking at the sound of his name. But feeling the need to be somewhat of a gentleman, Capella spoke up once again. "If you're not busy, would you like to join us? I'm paying. And I don't think this guy'll mind, right?" He questioned, looking over to Ash as he spoke. The more the merrier right? Not to mention how nice she was to make sure everything was okay with him and Ash despite not having anything to do with it...
Although it was her first offence, it felt really odd being talked to the principle in such a way. Bella's never really disappointed someone before, at least she doesn't think she has. And hearing it be said in front of four other people didn't make it any better. She really wished her maid just took both Alex and her home, but it looks like she would be stuck cleaning for a while. Not to mention getting her parents here would be next to impossible, but she'd have to figure something out...they wouldn't be too mad right? Internally making a vow to never disappoint anyone ever again, Bella stepped out with the other students. Of course she caught what Eddie was saying, but since she lost consciousness, she couldn't remember anything that happened after Rouge-Bat's appearance. But from what she's seen of him, Bella was positive that Talon made more sense then Rouge-Bat. "Y-You're not crazy...I believe you." She murmured in response before looking to the others. to see what they had to say.
Soon or later, the group of five made their way to the cafeteria, only to be greeted by the janitor going over what they'd be doing for the next hour or so. "U-Um, would it b-be alright if I took care of the dishes?" Bella offered sweetly before giving a slight bow and hopping off towards the kitchen. It was for the best too. Moving around with her head injury wouldn't be good and less interaction would be the best for Bella's own sanity...
Capella's jaw proceeded to hit the floor as he couldn't help but take the man in front of him seriously. Like, all the pieces were falling into place, and coupled with the fact that he couldn't really get a grasp of what was in front of him, for all he knew this man was dying right in front of him! "Wh-What?! S-Seriously?! Mister? ...MISTER?!" Capella could see it now: living in Sol City for a few days, only to have his dog kill a man in the park. He'd lose his scholarship, go to jail for life, and spend the rest of his times wallowing in self pity while Toasty got away scott free. Horror encompassed the blonde's face for a brief moment as he looked like he was about to scream for help, but fortunately, the other decided it was enough playing games and attempted to show that he was perfectly fine.
Instead of answering the other's question right away, Capella instead let out an exasperated sigh, placing his free hand on his chest in hopes of steadying his abnormal heart rate. "Ah, y-you really scared me, you know? I thought you actually got hurt or something! You see..." Capella trailed as he reach down to grab the now silent pupper and proceeded to hold him out towards what he hoped was the man's face. "This..this face, is the face of pure evil! I'd believe everything you said earlier if you didn't say you were joking!" He whined as the little dog started at the other man, tail still wagging innocently and tongue hanging out proudly.
Once the little musician had calmed down a little bit, and also put Toasty down on the ground, he went on to answering the rather weird question he was given. "Uhm...I don't think so? Back in China, we call his breed, 'Taidi'. I don't really know the English word for them though, sorry." He mumbled sheepishly as he was now balancing his walking stick on his knees before tilting his head. "I am really sorry about Toasty though. I guess he just really liked how your pants looked or something? I could repay you for the damages and buy you a new pair of sweatpants? O-Or if you just want money that's totally fine too I guess. Oh! I could maybe treat you to something else instead like lunch?" He couldn't lie that he was a bit hungry, but upon realizing that he was rambling on a little bit, Capella let out another sheepish laugh before noting the man in front of him shift a little. Was he standing up?
Unintentionally ignoring the other's hand, Capella unclasped his walking stick and fumbled into a standing position, his eyes becoming less green and more darker as his face was elevated from the grass. He gave a slight bow before smiling politely. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Ash! My name is Capella and I'm also new to Sol too, for college!" He beamed before almost immediately shying away at the mention of his singing.
"Y-you really think so? O-Oh stop, you're making me blush...but thank you." He said, his face red with embarrassment. For some reason he didn't think anyone would really pay attention to him in a park like this. Before he could question Ash about anything else, a new, feminine voice, entered he conversation, causing Capella to turn in that direction. His eyes immediately changed to a more lighter pink shade in the process. Judging by where their voice was coming from, she was around the same height as Ash if not taller. "Sorry, we didn't mean to interrupt you miss! My dog was just being a little too playful..." He said with a small laugh, before looking to Ash to see if he had anything to say.

Unbeknownst to the blonde musician, his trusty pupper Toasty was busy chasing after whatever passed his line of sight. He went from a pretty flower, to being distracted by a passerby, to trying to catch his own tail. It was pretty comical seeing the small vested dog try to focus his attention on one thing before ultimately succumbing to the sight of something far more interesting. In the midst of finally grabbing onto his tail, Toasty lost his balance and eventually rolled onto his side. Then his back. He started wriggling in all kinds of directions, rolling to and fro. He was having a great time not having to think about anything, but despite his few minutes of freedom, the pup always made sure to look back at his owner. He looked back at him right before he got distracted by anything else. And while he was doing such, the brown dog's eyes immediately caught sight of another human on his knees, staring right back at him.
Was he trying to hurt Capella? No, maybe he was just exercising or something. But if that was the case...why was he still staring? With the way the man was positioned, it reminded Toasty of how Capella's mom would try to get his attention. Not to mention Capela has been telling him not to chase people off if they got too close. Maybe this could be his time to show Capella how much better he's gotten!
Much like with what happened in the hospital, Toasty trotted over to the kneeling man, tail wagging and tongue hanging out in anticipation. And once he was close enough, the little pupper leaned forward and sniffed the stranger's hand, tilting his head curiously before his eyes landed on said stranger's sweatpants. Without warning, Toasty latching himself onto the slightly damp fabric before sinking his teeth into the stranger's thigh. Of course he had a justifiable reason for doing such, that being his blankets at home just so happened to be the same design and color, but it didn't really help his case when it came to biting a complete stranger.
Meanwhile, Capella continued to play to his heart's content, missing only a few notes here and there because a few text messages caught him off guard. Thankfully his hearing was sharp enough to get back on track despite the hiccups. Professionalism, it was something Capella strongly strives for and was glad that even with his disadvantage he would still have fun and make a career out of what he loves. When he was finished with the song, he let out a quiet sigh to catch his breath before sliding his headphones off his ears and to his neck. "Maybe I should try a faster song, some thing more compl--" He immediately straightened at the sound of Toasty's playful growls and could only gasp at what he 'saw'. Since the sun was up and there was plenty of light in the area, Capella was able to make out a blurry figure as well as what he would assume is his dog to his side. He couldn't tell what they were doing, but the humanoid figure did look kind of small...were they crouching or did Toasty attack some little kid?!
Too flustered and embarrassed to think any further, Capella set the guitar down to his other side and grabbed his walking stick before scrambling up to his feet. After a few seconds of cautious shuffling towards the two, Capella opened his mouth. "Toasty!" The blonde called out, letting out a sigh of relief when he felt the pupper rub up against his leg. At least he stopped doing whatever he was doing. Shaking his head slightly, Capella crouched down so that he was at the same level as the stranger. And although he wasn't staring directly at the man in front of him, his reflective eyes were at it again, giving off the impression that his gaze was multicolored. Green from the grass, steel as its natural color and black from the man's shirt lined up perfectly withing his eyes like an ombre layer cake. "I'm so sorry! I should have been paying attention...a-are you okay? Do you need help? Sh-Should I go get someone?" Capella prayed that this person wouldn't need to go to the hospital or anything like that. His worried look only grew sadder at the thought as he attempted not to pout, but failed miserably in the process.
Nino frowned at what Al had to say about his brother. He didn't understand how much of a lifesaver Giovanni could be when it's a life or death situation. The ombre teen was about to voice his thoughts too, it it hadn't been for Catrina entering, halting their entire conversation from escalating any further. He kept his mouth shut as Al bid his farewells for the night, the both of them sharing one more glance before the younger one left. Nino shook his head slightly before bringing his attention to Catrina who was now eating. "I-I'm go and dispose of this plate then go to bed. U-Uh, fill free to stay here until you're finished." He mumbled, as she slipped on the rather comfortable shoes before making his way down the steps. He took his sweet time too as he would rather not have a girl watch him while he's asleep; but it was her room so he couldn't just tell her to get out...
---
Catrina looked back up when Nino returned from his trip downstairs. It was clear as day that he was nervous and avoiding any form of eye contact, but a few minutes after his head hit the pillow, he was completely knocked out. He must have been really tired still...and on edge from being in such a new place. Not wanting to bother him any longer, Catrina gobbled up the rest of her food quickly before hurrying out of the room. They had a big day ahead of them and she knew she would need to sleep to keep up with it.
---
Before she even knew it, Catrina's phone blared to life, a soft chime ringing throughout Al's room. Having crashed on the floor, and placing the phone on the dresser at the other side of the room before doing so, Catrina let out a sleepy mumble as she shifted on the floor, her eyes still closed and expression showing she was still in dreamland. Despite this, however, the redhead spoke up to the other occupant in the room. "Could you get that for me Al?" She grumbled as she curled up to a more comfortable position.
Description Main servant to the Vertti household and known for forming a contract with two full Spirits, Grisaia is a rabbit Demi-Human who's stone clad face and overall polite personality hide years of neglect and trauma under it.
Appearance Description Grisaia is a lanky young man with short faded blonde hair, pale crystal colored eyes and almost porcelain skin. Being a loyal and one of the best servants that belong to the Vertti family Grisaia is almost dressed in a white long sleeved button up collared shirt with a wine red sleeveless tailcoat over top it. He normally wears light brown slacks short enough to expose some of his shins as well as his striped socks. He also wears reddish brown boots, especially when going out to run errands. As a Demi-Human, Grisaia sports a poofy white rabbit tail and long white rabbit ears that move depending on his emotions.
Personality Grisaia is almost exactly what you'd expect a servant to act like. He's extremely dedicated to his work and upholds a strong sense of duty to his household. He faithfully follows and carries out every one of the Vertti's orders, while ensuring that the other servants around him run smoothly. He's extremely polite despite his face being rather stone clad and entirely stoic. Being a servant, Grisaia's true emotions for the things around him are strongly filtered out, so when he does go outside of the Vertti household, he can be a little dense and often oblivious to even his own emotions; his mind would say one thing, and his mouth the other. There are those rare moments were he's able to fully express himself and speak what's truly on his mind, but it only seems to happen with people outside of his work or that he's gotten to know really well; for example, his two spirit companions.
Hopefully if one gets to know Grisaia better, they'd realize he's just a normal, friendly guy, who has a hard time speaking what's truly on his mind due to past experiences.
Bio
Grisaia was born into the world along with his older twin brother Florenz within the slums of Gusteko. Knowing that they wouldn't be able to take care of two children in such terrible conditions, both his mother and father decided to abandon him in favor of taking care of a single child; it wasn't like either of them were even old enough to understand what was going on, so that lessened the pain of it all right? Probably for Florenz who still had a family. Grisaia on the other hand was taken in by a group of slumfolk who found him alone and wrapped in a little blanket.
Gusteko was already a cold kingdom so the fact that Grisaia was able to survive for who knows how long before he was finally found was quite a miracle. Even the people than found him was a miracle for Grisaia, as said people made it their job to take care of the lost and abandoned children that made their way into the slums in the first place. It was in their care that Grisaia slowly began to learn about himself and the blessing bestowed upon him.
Although his days in the slums were hard and strenuous, Grisaia felt like he belonged and was actually happy with his life and once he's old enough, he hopes to find his parents and reunite with them. He was optimistic. Unfortunately, the world didn't seem to want Grisaia to find his family and let them know that he's still out there. At the mere age of six, all hell broke loose and the war came into fruition. At first, Grisaia felt that he and the other kids would be fine since they wouldn't feel the need to bring fighting to their raggedy home, but low and behold, Grisaia and all the other Demi-Human children were plucked away from their foster family to train and participate in said war; he was being forced to fight for the Demi-Humans.
To say that Grisaia would never be prepared to fight in the war was a complete understatement as the undernourishment of being abandoned as soon as he came into the world coupled with his naturally scrawny body meant he wouldn't be of much use. At least, that was what was originally thought until Grisaia was forced to use his Divine Protection and destructive Wind magic to deflect a blast coming straight at him during training.
Upon uncovering this amazing power and potential magical prowess that could used for their sake, Grisaia, who was only about ten years old by that time, was put into the front lines as the 'perfect shield'. The physical and mental strain of putting thousands upon thousands of barriers up to protect those who wanted it as well as watching people his kind and alike losing their lives right in front of him, followed by the constant, almost never ending beatings he received whenever one of his barriers broke during training, had Grisaia to the point of wanting to take his own life and end it all.
But he couldn't. Doing that meant that he couldn't go back to his family, Doing that meant more people would get hurt and die. Doing that would mean that everything was over and Grisaia didn't want that. He probably looked miserable in battle too, as during one fateful day, Grisaia was kidnapped by the enemy side, a house that went by the name of Vertti. The traumatized boy wasn't scared in the slightest as he wasn't tied up, or attacked, or anything really. Instead the humans of the Vertti household offered him a place he could call his new home. A place within Lugnica. It was here that he learned how to become an extremely loyal and trusting servant to the people that took him off the battlefield and to a place where he could somehow be happy. He was only fourteen by that time.
A year passed with living with the Vertti's and that's when he came into contact with the the Spirits Adhara and Anubis. Due to all three of their naturally odd behaviors, the three hit it off pretty well and eventually became close enough to were Grisaia made a contract with both of them. He's been working at the Vertti household ever since.
TLDR; Grisaia was abandoned by birth and taken in by a group of 'slum-dwellers' soon after. Life was alright until Grisaia turned six and was taken away to be conditioned for the war. Upon learning his force field capabilities, the Demi-Humans threw him into the horrors of war and wasn't saved from it until he turned 14 when he was kidnapped by the Vertti's. The Vertti family instead put his magical prowess to better use and made him a servant to the house. He rose up the ranks and eventually became the main servant, meeting Adhara and Anubis soon after because of his mana capabilities.
Magics 88 (Spirit Magic)
Abstract Magics Divine Protection: Force Field Generation -- Grisaia was graced with the ability to create a shield/wall/field formed from energy/elements. These force-fields aren't usually impenetrable and can be removed by energy drain or extreme force. He can make up to five at a time and even layer them over each other if needed. Grisaia is also able to throw shields away from himself or to catch things with them, and also be able to create them into any shape and even stand on them like platforms. The draw backs of this ability is that attacks on the barriers can cause equivalent damage to Grisaia's mind to the point of losing consciousness. That is, the level of strength an attack deals will affect how long the barrier can be held up and will affect Grisaia.
A strong attack (the type of attack that’d eviscerate a crowd of people) can only be blocked by Grisaia' force field once before he's rendered unconscious.
A medium attack (the type of attack that’d cause someone to die if they’re hit with it) can be blocked by Grisaia’s barrier thrice before losing consciousness. In dire situations, he could extend how many hits his barrier is able to take, but that puts an even bigger strain and Grisaia and could eventually cause permanent damage.
A light attack (the type of thing that can be blocked with a shield) Grisaia can take up to 15 of them before going unconscious. If the situation was dire, he may be able to hold up to 25 of these attacks before going unconscious.
Of course there's the in-between stage of certain attacks that will cause him to become pretty woozy, resulting in headaches after most fights when he uses his barriers.
Not to mention airtight barriers could cause asphyxiation from prolonged use.
Spirit: Adhara -- A Water affinity full spirit who made a contract with Grisaia and is best friends with Anubis. Performs Water based attacks of various states. She can be given orders and leave from Grisaia's side easily.
Spirit: Anubis -- A Earth affinity full spirit who made a contract with Grisaia and is best friends with Adhara. Performs Earth crumbling attacks. She can be given orders and leave from Grisaia's side easily much like Adhara can.
Spirit Application Character Name: Grisaia Vertti Spirit Name: Adhara Terms of Contract: The first condition is that Grisaia can't make a contract with any other Spirits unless both her and Anubis agree to their joining. The second condition is that both her and Anubis are a packaged deal; as in one cannot be summoned nor mentioned without the other ("Adhara and Anubis", not just "Anubis"). Lastly, if Grisaia were to be put in any kind of danger that results in his death, both her and Anubis are ordered to freeze over all of Lugnica and its inhabitants aside from the Vertti household equal to his current age (19 years) as a form of revenge for all the hell he had to endure. Aspect: Huma (Water) Spirit Level: Full Magic: 76 Extra: Will add personality traits and extra info once the rp gets kicked off.

lol, don't worry, I thought it was funny (although i didn't actually read the series and instead just took the name because I liked the sound of it xD)
omg thank you for the picture <3
Honestly, reading everyone else's descriptions made me feel the same way >.>
For clarification, I actually haven't read the light novels, just looked at the wiki ^^ and I was thinking the same thing in terms of third parties wanting to increase their soldiers and beef up their ranks. Glad this is okay!
Yeah, ikr? Hopefully if Kiruma and Grisaia do end up talking to each other about their pasts, they'll be able to find some kind of sanctuary between each other and have someone to lean on when those dark times come back to haunt them :)
Yeah I definitely want Grisaia to be a very powerful Spirit Arts user, but of course he wouldn't be a prodigy. Just good enough to be recognized by those around him for it and reliable enough to take care of big problems on his own.
As for his Divine Protection, I'm perfectly fine with the drawbacks that you listed here. It keeps me from overusing his power and extending whenever I feel like it. I'll be sure to only extend his capacity of taking hits when in particularly dire situations.
I should still have you on discord. I'll pm you after I make the changes you requested ^^
I've never given a character 3 theme songs (i couldn't decide what to give him) so I'm glad you liked them ^^
I'll get to work on touching up those things right now! :)
