Rem
"No way." Rem looked at Edge with a seemingly offended look. "This is my fight, not yours. I'd rather die on my own than win with your help!" He placed his boater hat down a bit to cover his eyes, to add a sort of dramatic effect. "What sort of future pirate king needs help from weird purple guys?" While he spoke without a tremble in his voice, being near them gave him the sensation of imminent danger.
Edge and the executioner both felt similar to Rem's former captain. The first time they met, Rem felt as if he was staring death right in the face. While he came to admire the captain after spending some time on the ship, Rem would never forget their first meeting. The crew was just done pillaging the village Rem's troupe was performing at, stealing the money the performers had earned as well. In a fit of rage, Rem ran his mouth off to the captain. When the man faced him, Rem was sure he would be killed. His genial attitude towards him made it all the more frightening, getting kidnapped was probably the best outcome of the events.
Rem tips his hat up, his eyes now visible. "Hey, executioner, I don't want to fight on the platform." He now had a wide smile once again. "The platform won't be able to survive the beating you'll get!" Rem lets out a hearty laugh, the temporary moment of seriousness he had now coming to an end. Rem briefly turns around to look at what Gold Roger had seen on the day of his death, that HAD been his original goal after all.
He jumps from the tall platform, taking note of the swordsman that shot fire with his swords. Using his incredibly logical line of thinking Rem quickly determined that because blades were cool, and fire has the ability to make near everything look cooler, the swordsman was twice as cool as a result! He gives the man an interested glance, he would definitely convince him to join his crew!
While Rem is distracted, two more rookie pirates try their luck at attacking him. Rem catches on to them fast and punches them both in the face, once again not bothering to use his power. "Hey!" Rem began yelling as loud as he could. "Don't interrupt my fight!" He ordered the rest of the rookies. Some of them seemed frightened by his power, others seemed mostly indifferent or annoyed by his boisterous personality. "Executioner! Come down here!" He points at Cheshire.
"After I beat you, I'm starting my own crew!"
