Well that's some serious bullshit. Fucked up that this source of fun you created has become one of whatever such crap. Sorry about that, no one who puts effort into creating something for themselves and others should be made to feel negatively about it, especially if they've actually been good at/about it.

My parents too fall into the category of "You're 7 years old and we're watching this movie right now so if you want our attention for today you're gonna have to sit here and watch people have sex, get murdered, say any curse word imaginable and anything like that. All of that and more were already happening at home anyways- so seeing it on tv wasn't that big of a shocker.
Aye, same. One good thing about that though is all the usually angsty teenage shit seems boring/unimpressive when you're used to seeing your parents do it, haha.

Haha, yeah. My mum was freakishly liberal with that kind of stuff, and everything else to be honest. I watched rated 18 horror movies when I was quite a bit younger than that. She apparently found it funny how I'd move further and further away from the TV until I'd be hiding behind a pillow on the sofa. I'm still not a fan of the horror genre, partly because of all the nightmares I had when I was really young. She a bitch, but a cool one.
Is it just me or do the Shameless family sound a tad bit Irish? Is that a Chicago thing or am I just imagining it?
