Today is the last day that the IRC channel for the site remains fully moderated and the widget remains usable. This service will not continue as of tomorrow. This is a sad duty, and I had a lot to say so I put it in this google document. To the entire site, thank you and I wish you all the best.

Trouble Accessing IRC

Alright, so I've had this error reported to me recently once before. The actual text ("Loading 2015 modules") is just a little funny bit I threw into the widget around New Years and haven't gotten around to changing yet. More worryingly, it seems like this whole getting stuck on the loading page is a potential issue. I don't know why this happens or how to fix it unfortunately, all I'd say is keep trying as it seems that people can get on eventually. I'll update if I learn anything new.

In April 2014 your right to enter the IRC was revoked unanimously by the staff in virtue of multiple user reports and observations made surrounding chronic and unsettling indecent conduct. If you wish to discuss the matter further, feel free to private message Gia, but I have absolutely no intention of reversing the order.

Yeah, this is something I've just realised is a problem after someone came into the chat and said something. I'm sure Mahz will get this up pretty soon. For now, make friends and have a way to get in contact with them outside of the site so they can help you out if you get locked out. ;)

The Chat (IRC) not working.

Not sure what the issue is, datadogie. I'm the owner of the chat, and I can report that that window is working fine for a lot of people. If this is still a problem, maybe try a different browser or refreshing a few times. That which hosts the chat itself is not directly a part of the site so it's a more of a problem of your interaction with third party resources.
