@Toxxx well this is mainly a inquisitor mission with most of the players being acolytes. Grey Knight being limited would decrease their influence etc. Though if you have a better suggestion for Astartes please say so.
@Toxxx I know which one you are talking about but I can't remember either
@Toxxx Grey Knights Omnibus and Faith and Fire were pretty awesome as well.
@Toxxx anything by Dan Abnett is godly.
@Toxxx Lexicanum or other?
@Toxxx@Chairman Stein@Warbozz good to see some strong 40k fans
After Markus had finished loading the rounds he just smirked at Marrec, and turned around only to find Sam staring at him. “You should go?” He taps his chin in thought for a moment.” That sounds fine to me. You come. Bring the Bolverk.” He brings up his hand and counts on his fingers “One, two, three, four, five. Yeah we’ll all fit. The hunters will just have to sit in the bed.” He motions for them to follow and points into the kitchen. “Gather everyone up. We’re leaving” He heads out the door. He pulls open the doors to a shed and low and behold there sat the UTV a Polaris 900 with five seats, and a bed. He had brought the hunter’s weapons and put them in gun bags that he had strapped to the side of the UTV along with the shield.

Time Skip

Markus had loaded up everyone in the UTV and sat in the driver’s seat. “Everyone ready? No yes? Doesn’t matter.” He pushed his foot to the pedal and it took off in the snow white rooster tails shooting up as the tires spun through the snow. He turned his head to look at the two others who were sitting up front with him then at the two in the back seat. Finally the hunters would be sitting on the tail gate getting the worst of the ride. “Not to bumpy right guys?! Only about thirty more minutes before we reach town then you can walk out the shakes.” he chuckles and looks back towards the way he was driving dodging around trees and making sure to hit single hill of snow just to blast everyone with the cold white stuff and give the ride a good shake.
@Skyrte@AcaciaMalikov Welcome aboard, both of you.

Warhammer 40,000 - Chasing Chaos

The room was quiet, the silence only broken by the soft footsteps of leather boots stepping across the charred plasteel. All across the room bodies were strewn about guardsmen’s faces locked in their final moments of terror and agony. A single pysker was pinned to the wall by a huge power sword that cracked with chaotic energies, a hand still held onto the pommel, but there was nobody left to claim the hand as it’s own. Inquisitor Dantaya stopped in front of an altar that lay broken in half the prize she had come for pulled free and laying on the floor wide open. The tome was older written by one of the Grey Knight’s order thousands of years ago. She kneeled down and flipped through the pages searching and hoping that the main reason this book had been kept under such heavy guard was still there. Then she came to it, the page that held the name. It was gone ripped from the tome.

Slowly standing up she turned towards the door where a storm trooper stood. Stepping back across the room at a much quicker pace than she had before Dantaya stepped out into a dimly lit hallway and looked down at a stormtrooper. The man was young, but hardened by years of battle and training. She took a deep breath. “Go to the astropath. Send a message to Grand Master Valdar Aurikon… The book of Kaphaesus has been tampered with. We no longer have the true name.”

OOC

Welcome to the world of Warhammer 40,000 a fantastic universe where all hope seems lost. Only heroes are the small glints of light in the darkness of space. We will be following the adventures of several inquisitorial acolytes and Grey Knights in a quest to stop a Chaos cult from bringing back a infamous, and powerful Daemon who had been banished to the warp. This quest will take them across the stars, planet to planet, tracking this cult through the murky underbelly of hive cities and across burnt and scarred battlefields.

This RP will allow players to take the roles of acolytes which gives them a range of choices from Stormtroopers, Sisters of Battle, Mechanicus etc. I will say this though Xenos characters will NOT be allowed. I know this is disappointing for some, but this RP is purely Imperium based as far as the PCs. I will be limiting the amount of players playing Grey Knights to 2. This is not including my own character. This is for the sake of power balance of the PCs. We can’t have 7 grey knights and two storm troopers after all, since it would defeat the purpose of the storm troopers altogether.

If you’re interested, post your interest. I can’t start this RP if no one tells me they’d like it to happen.
The chair was nice and comfortable a bit away from the commotion of the kitchen. In front of him was a notepad and his pen danced across it writing down different things to pick up in town. He took a deep breath and looked up as some thoughts raced through his head. ‘two dead family members, two known hunters we are setting free… Rituals to take place. My Lupa seems to be discouraged but I am not sure what to do. I just have so much to do...’ he lays the pen down just as he writes down toilet paper. Then just who he was thinking about was stepping behind him. Markus lifted his head to look up at Val and raised a brow at her. “You want to go to town?”

A single hand came up to rub his bearded face before he turns his head to look back down. “I thought you might lead in the setting up of the Sacred Grounds since you will be leading the rituals tonight. I think it is time for such. For you to act as a priestess to our pack.” He picks up the pen and taps it on the paper a few more times leaving black dots dancing across the white background. He chews on the pen for a minute then before speaking again. “Though if you rather go to town I will take you.” He pushes up out of the chair and turns to face her then gives her a light kiss on the forehead before walking off and heading towards the armory himself.

As he steps into the room he sees Marrec and takes a deep breath. “After all these years as Ulfric, you’d think it would get better..” He walks over to the shelf where he kept his ammunition and looks across the bullets. He always carried silver rounds in his trips to town. Ejecting the magazine from his pistol he began loading it with the silver hollow points and slid it back into the pistol and slammed a round into the chamber. He then filled a second magazine and slide it into his pants waist along with his pistol. “Got a inventory of what ammunitions we need to fill up on in town?”
