Lot of talk of slapping lol, I got ran over!
She didn't have to knock Top out of the way
Slapping him is like cutting off a hydra's head, he'll just keep going on with his jokes
Maybe, but it'll make the slapper feel good. Tea's lucky. She can just put him on mute if need be.
I think that would break the rules of affecting other players characters
"Affecting other players characters"? What? Are you serious? Interaction between characters is extremely important, things like that boost character development. Obviously everything we do "affects" your character, you can't just join a thread with young adolescent hormone-fueled superpowerul teenagers and expect to not get in trouble occasionally. It's not like there's any rule that implies that your character is invincible, because if we can't slap Bolt in the face than that is awful. Honestly, getting a slap in the face should be the least of your worries right now, you just ran over your teammate with a car and didn't even stop to think if she was okay. You should get blasted through a window for that, honestly what you did was extremely reminiscent of the Joker. Crazy guy slamming his foot on the gas of an extremely fast car, which would've murdered Top in cold blood if Starbolt hadn't intervened. In the real Young Justice, you would've been expelled for the team and labeled a villain if you pulled that. The reason I'm pissed is because you thought you were immune to a slap in the face after nearly committing vehicular manslaughter... So yeah, /rant. ...but I will admit I found Bolt comparing himself to Johnny Cage funny.
Dude read my post, I was referring to characters using their superpowers to mute him
Does anyone watch Rage Quit
He accepted me because we have known each other a long time and he also knows I constantly play captain marvels and have gotten pretty good at not being op with them. If someone else had made the marvel he would have started questioning them. Sorry for that confusion my friend.
I've played powerful characters pretty well. Charles' chaos magic is all a part of his backstory, I'm not using it to be op I'm doing it mostly for flavor and it makes his bio more accurate
I'm gonna flex my under-GM muscles and say slapping another character, within reason and without the other characters player moaning about it, is allowed. I didn't mind when Q got slapped. Hell I thought it was Hilarious, colored the personalities of Tea and Q and added to the drama of the moment. Some folks don't like to be involved in play like that though, and try to call it out as Godmoding. If Patriarch falls under that camp then I would just go for an open slap, one which gives him the choice to either dodge or be hit by it. Edit - I also have to mention how much Exodus's 'balls of steel' line made me giggle. Like really giggle, Like an actual schoolgirl!
I don't mind him getting slapped or hit, but if someone used their powers to mute him then I might have a problem. Hitting is fine
I'll go for option 2, but option 1 sounds like a very interesting mission
@The Patriarch Do you plan on making both or one?
Right now I'm just sticking with a hero
@makarov Approved, just keep the power reigned in. @The Patriarch It kinda seems a bit much in the powers. And why hero? Just asking.
Your accepting a Captain Marvel like character, how is my character more powerful? And I made him a hero because I want to play a conflicted hero who is constantly struggling against the darkness within him. It's all about the struggle between good and evil within him
