Government DON'Ts

Economy. At all. Never. GTFO. Anything that does not affect others. None of their fucking business. Citizen surveillance. You got a warrant? Then stay the fuck off my facebook page. Immigration. Jobs cannot be 'taken'. Nobody wants the jobs they do take. They also aren't cheap labor if you give them minimum wage.

Government DOs

Gun control (exceptions). We can all agree: no civilian needs an AK-74 with a 10000 bullet drum. The rest can get murky, but that needs to be a basic assumption. Drugs (exceptions). Meth is bad. So is crack/cocaine/heroin/whatever the fuck they are doing now. Weed and steroids are murky, but enforce the dangerous ones. Basic law. Murder: Kill them or life imprison them. Whichever costs less. Drugs(Possession): The reason our systems suck dick. Try forced rehab-sans prison record. They need help. If they hurt somebody, then thats an assault charge. Otherwise, it really doesn't affect anybody else. Drugs(Selling)/Rapists: Torture chamber. Plenty of fun ideas. Enforce these.

I have to disagree on your notion that government shouldn't handle the economy, making the economy non governmental would probably still lead to mismanagement in my opinion

When Adam heard Fenrir mention that their training tomorrow would be kept a secret he smiled, he loved surprises and this would be a chance to see how they all would react to training that they weren't prepared. He was a little annoyed at Fenrir insistence that Tamashi train even though he was injured. It definitely true that the enemy would not wait for them to heal and Adam had received that kind of training his whole life, but if his teammates' injuries became worse because of training then he would be ineffective in the field. When Fenrir said that Sun Tzu was wise, Adam started to wonder if maybe always using quotes from famous people in his points made him look confident in his own abilities. Maybe he should cut back on the quotes and get more to the point. Adam did have to admit that Thorn's use of football as a way of explaining strategy while more simple did have some good points and Adam actually really enjoyed football, it was one of his favorite sports. Of course Thorn didn't like the idea of Belle being on the team, he seemed very protective on the child to Adam and with one so young as her he wasn't surprised. But Adam was still in agreement with Fenrir about training her. He was curious to hear his reason for her being on the team, and when the wolfman told them, Adam was not expecting something that personal, but when he thought about it it did make sense. Then there was Johnny who had a habit of smoking that Adam didn't really like, he had grown up with scientists and learning about unhealthy habits and substances was one of the first things he learned. He also supported Thorn's stances on the matter of Belle, it was true that if something happened her in the field then Fenrir would be responsible, but that's what it meant to be a leader which was to make hard and sometimes even reckless decisions and take responsibility for mistakes, Adam knew those things all too well. He knew he would get some criticisms and probably some rude remarks, but he would stick up for their leader, especially after his threatening words before their first mission, he wanted to try and reconcile with Fenrir.

I'm not heated, curious, on the other hand. You said men didn't take it personally, implying that women do. Which only leads me to believe that you would think men are better than women? The questions are relevant because you made them relevant with your previously mentioned statement. It's perfectly fine for you to go on a crusade against Gay couples, and it's fine for others to argue with you on it. That's how democrazy and the freedom of speech works.

Fine allow me to clarify, I would tell a man the exact same thing I would tell a woman when it comes sexual objectification, which is don't let it get to you and don't waste your time on that stuff. I mentioned women because I only see women complain about sexual objectification. I believe in equality which includes equal treatment and no special privileges, which includes being very blunt and realistic. Never once did I hint at that I say women are to blame for rape and frankly I find the question going a little too far especially for this forum. I have to agree with Kablamicus, this debate is over, sorry but I have to post and I have somewhere to be soon and I don't want to be late.
