For me one of the best Superman stories is What's So Funny About truth justice and the American way. The movie superman vs the elite is based off of that comic, it's a great story
Mountain Lion was in a bloodlusted rage and he lashed out again with his sharp claws when Director Taylor got impaled by his own constructs and proceeded to slice open the man's face going right through his skull killing him. The metahuman was now dead and John began to feel his bloodlust weaken. He had killed again and he wasn't sure how he felt. "What now?" he asked. --- Adam was surprised by the level of brutality of their enemy's death and for a moment he was silent and not sure what to say. It wasn't the fact that John had killed the man, it was the extreme violence. Maybe he had been wrong to ask him to join him. Either way things were not certain right now and who knew what the future held for them. "I don't know what will happen, but I've got a bad feeling about what's to come" John said to them as he stood over the man's body as a pool of blood came close to his feet.
<Snipped quote by The Patriarch> Yeah, I understand. Don't worry 'bout it. When I think I ramble which is why i dont think that much
no problem, I can't to start using Nikolai's crazy antics if he's accepted.
Nikolai's powers, especially the absorbing part, reminds me a lot of Jason's, but I think I can work with it.
But Nikolai is a villain and his powers are electrical based
<Snipped quote by The Patriarch> You're part of a very small minority there, unfortunately. The general consensus amongst comics fans is that the show is a loving homage to everything that makes comics great: inventive, witty, and most importantly fun (something that a lot of comics seem to lack nowadays, much to their detriment). It also did things like make Terra sympathetic rather than the one-dimensional monster that she was in the comics, has the definitive version of Starfire (don't even get me started on what the New 52 did to her), and generally treated the source material with respect and reverence. Not going to say it's my favourite superhero cartoon (that would be the 90's X-Men show), but this is the first time I've ever seen someone with a negative opinion of it, let along one filled with such venom. ...Of course, I will admit I have an attraction to the weirder side of comics stuff, so the tone and general atmosphere of the show appealed to me greatly. I mean, my favourite DC comics include stuff like Sandman, Grant Morrison's runs on Animal Man and Doom Patrol, and 52. So naturally I'm a fan of a show that does what it did and doesn't take itself too seriously, and gives the audience the occasional wink. Really, comics trying to take themselves too seriously (and honestly failing at it) is probably partially to blame for the dwindling sales and readership they've been suffering from for years on end now. Basically, I don't agree with what you say at all, I am willing to defend my stance on this opinion, and it's not likely to budge anytime soon.
I'm not asking to change your opinion, but I am voicing my dislike of the show and being in a minority doesn't change my views. I use to like the show, but once I actually looked into the stories the show was based off of I never looked back. Young Justice was the show I was looking for, more mature, still had a good amount of humor and could also be taken more seriously. Sorry but when Bart Allen showed up and all of the Flashes were together in one scene then that was insane nostalgia for me.
Azzrix gave a bigger smile when Mysaren and Claire thanked him for the drinks and asked him what business that he had in mind. "I am looking for people to go on missions with and I am pretty sure that some will come up soon. I am perfectly fine with doing them myself, but I find having a group to aid you is much better for health than doing them alone. So if any of you are interested in going on a mission then I am perfectly fine with you coming along with me. There would be riches to be had and the promise of glory." he said to them calmly. He was hoping to find allies to make doing the tougher missions easier, his family may have liked a challenge, but they weren't stupid. "Remember Azzrix, if you can have assistance in job with a person you can trust then always have it." Azzrix remembered his dad telling him that when he was a young child learning how to be an expert thief.
