mind if I join guys? I got an idea for a unique character

The Paranatural Countermeasures Conglomerate

Well... I have a bad feeling confuzzler is mia since she isn't in any other rp's that I'm in with her either. (Which sucks because I like her writing style) but I was curious if I can create another character for the doppleganger mission since they are slightly short handed.

What I have so far....

-Note* Gunshot wound through the left upper quarter into the chest cavity. Scar is easily seen when Victors shirt is off. Secondary gunshot wound found on his right shoulder required medical treatment. (See medical history)

Psychological Profile: Victor is a textbook type B personality with a relaxed and friendly persona. Often found in Recreation or napping when not on duty. Minor traces of type A traits occur when the deceased or recently deceased is within his presence. Victor seems to go from his usual relaxed self to hyperfocused and introvertive when introduced with most paranormal related subjects. A moderate Physocological "Linking" occurs with specific paranatural entities (exe Spirits of the recently deceased, deceased or low level demonic beings or poltergeists) Low levels of seratonin seem to counteract the effects and allow Victor to remain "pinned" in this world. Artificial byproducts exe "Sweets" seem to help with mental switch since Victor always seems to crave sweet edible products during and after his persona switch. Without a consistant watch on Victors mental state he can be highly susceptible to intrusion or posession of his person and would require immense willpower that Victor rarely shows to have to negate the intrusion/posession.

Medical History: Repairs made to Victors heart due to gunshot proved to be a drastic improvement over original status. Bio-carbon muscular overlay with subdermal monitering system installed on subjects heart proved to help stability issues and above average cardio holdout equal that of an athlete in his prime.

Right shoulder joint proved to be unsalvageable and was replaced with ceramic-alloy replacement. Bio-carbon weave administered to shoulder muscles to help healing process and moderate upper body strength improvement noted.

Laser eye surgery complete with low light enhancements were added due to his rapidly degrading vision most likely genetic related.

Note* medical treatments given previous to employment with the PCMC. Include a misdiagnosed attention deficiate disorder and phsycological counseling for two years after the death of his parents. PCMC altered those documents during those two years as a precaution.

Technical Proficiency: Thanks to Victors career as an Officer/Detective He has over a decade of expertise related to Homicide related inquiries. Criminal investigation based skills including criminal phsycological state of mind, Forensics and blood spatter analysis and a natural at investigative techniques used throughout his years as a cop. Recently he has also aquired advanced training in paranormal and paranatural entities and how to engage said entities with myth based countermeasures.

Note* Victor has shown an innate ability to "speak" with paranormal spirits of the deceased or recently deceased type or view images in his head of significant items related to paranormal activity. He has used these talents through most of his time as a homicide detective to help the investigations by literally talking with the victim. This explains his exponential record of arrests within the ten years at Precinct 98 in Brooklyn, Ny.

History With the PCMC: Vincent has only been with the PCMC for a little over a year and a half. He is still considered the "Greenhorn" to most of his coworkers but makes up for it with natural talent and a quick learning curve. Vincent was sent on a few minor homicide cases that were flagged by the PCMC for major paranormal interference as well as a case of a werewolf causing problems in New Jersey. "Detective Lynch" interviewed most of the bodies since the wolf never left any survivors and managed to locate and halt a four month killing spree. Since then "Detective Lynch" has been reccomended for a handfull of other cases that required his skillset, some more notable than others.

What's the magic difficulty level in this like?

A) A fireball is a weak spell and pretty much anyone can cast it.
B) Fireball takes time and patience to cast but is common for wizards and scholars
C) Throwing flame from ones hand has been forgotten and only taught to a few gifted masters that can control the mighty dragon within XD

Closer to A B or C? Also what's the tech like?

I have to say I've kinda changed my mind about this game. Just like corporal I just can't seem to relate to my character well either...feel free to use the gasoline powers but unless I get a sudden change of heart I'm out as well sry guys

That post if you kept reading was up for debate if you kept on reading were basically following three core rules when deciding powers:

An element must be absorbed before we can use the associated power

The properties of that element must have matter or traits consistant with said matter

No OP, over abundunt powers like air, water etc and no time travel :)

Obviously these are unspoken hush hush rules but they are pretty much what is stated throughout the thread.
