I think it would be a good decision if I followed the same path as Shard. I simply can't devote the time to this story when I'm in the situation where I'm struggling with a Casual in the long gap between posts (not a downside at all; actually was an enjoyable tempo for me in the beginning), so I can't envision myself being able to cope with this too. It really was a great read though, and you've started something which is immense, I just can't give you the time. Feel free to kill off Spook in the most glorious or embarrassing death you can muster, I'll make sure I'll read it.

I'm very sorry about this, but I'm sure you understand how these things can get. Long live the 417th.

I'm not away yet but there's a whole bunch of stuff I have to sort out for when I do leave. You all seem competent so I'm happy to let you guys either incorporate Jim into your posts or let someone take over full control until I return. Midori seems to know the each step we're taking in this so I doubt anyone could mess up too bad. Bash on guys, Jim is yours for the next little while.

Personality: A quiet, aware, and hard-working kid, Jim makes an effort to do what he needs to to a very high standard. He has quite a pull over the other students in Shop. A natural leader that doesn't force anything on anyone because he simply doesn't care about being leader. Not the brightest but well-versed in electronics, pneumatics, hydraulics, and anything else that moves, and manages to avoid his mental downfalls being noticeable by keeping his mouth shut when he doesn't know what's being discussed, but this also goes beyond intellectual discussions, and Jim is mostly quiet all the time as he doesn't feel the need to tell people much at any time.

Screw it, I'll do it then once I'm eligible. We need at least one anyway, so if the other guy gets one and so do I that just helps everyone. Worst case scenario if I can't handle it, spider droids and hailfires rip the entire battalion apart.

I just got off of work, give me a few hours and I'll have a double 117th/Red Draigon post written up that will advance both the naval and ground battles. Heads up for everyone, the next objective for the 1st Infantry regiment will be to destroy enemy jamming stations that are cutting off our communications. The 2nd regiment will be defending against a massive counterattack with enemy tanks and hailfire droids at the forefront. The navy will finish off the blockade and then be in charge of running supplies to and from our strong points. @bluetommy2 you'll be in charge of blowing up a Black Sun space station on the far side of the solar system. After the 1st battalion establishes communications I plan on introducing Dask Gat for the first time.

On another note, we really need an armored battalion. I'll make one myself if I have to but I don't want to keep using an entire regiment as unnamed cannon fodder.

I honestly won't be able to run another regiment. I could maybe do a battalion, but my posts would be longer apart. If no-one else is interested in taking up a spot I would do it.
