I am the last...
Even when this place was young and the race of man were not yet dreamt of Valusia was thriving.
Your ancestors died to steal it from us.
And many of my clan perished in the theft.
But not I...
Forever I slither.
Out of untold ages I arrive.
A serpent pretending to be a human pretending to be a serpent.
How avant-garde, no?
Yet who could even fathom what we are?
What we were?
Your ancestors built their first city-states in emulation of our grand metropoli.
Your entire legacy was stolen from our elders.
Your highest philosophies, deepest cultural heritage, most advanced sciences...
They are but sparks, scarcely emulating the glorious solar glow of divine methods practiced by reptilian predecessors.
Even when this place was young and the race of man were not yet dreamt of Valusia was thriving.

Hi there, ladies, gents, ant/or others!
This seems like the place to be for those who wish to express some fun ideas and engage in some fun storytelling madness. Not that madness is worth seeking in and of itself, mind you. But it does seem to accompany those who delve deeply into truly ancient and cosmic things. Things such as the wars on Orions Belt between the Psionic Shadowlings and the Children of the Interstellar Dragons. Things such as the learned and noble Empires of the First Earthlings and the Magic times when nine stars kissed the moon over the ice-veiled throne of Ultima Thule, or when the Setians fought Serpent-men for the right to strike first against the vampires of Atlantis, shortly before the Shimmering Ones from beyond the Chaos Gate attempted to invade this dimension, forcing the Atlantean Blood Mages to sink their beloved homeland.
And thos e are but some of the things I would explore here. Have I come to the write place?
