Quickly Akira energized Lumika with joy and excitement, Akira just made a bold promise to her! She couldn't wait to build off this enthusiasm! Before she could, confusion evicted joy and excitement. In what felt like seconds to Lumika, Akira's face turned bright red, and he enclosed himself in a dome of wood. Did she cross another invisible social barrier? 'I feel like I'm walking in a minefield today! What am I doing wrong?!? maybe Konoha is a more timid place than I expected... I definitely need to take some local etiquette classes'
Lumika stepped closer to the wood dome and cupped her hands around her mouth and shouted into the wood, she hoped Akira could hear her "Senju-san! Are you okay?!? why are you in there!? do you need some time alone!?" Lumika shouted. Lumika pressed her ear against the wood and listened for any response from Akira. While waiting she looked at Akira's teacher and asked "Do you know what just happened? Did you say something to him?" trying her best to sound quizzical and not accusatory; she was already worried people thought she was rude, she didn't need disrespectful added to the list.
Still cooling off from her recent celebrations, Lumika stood firm in the silence. She did her best not to show how uncomfortable the silence made her. She tried to fight off any insecurities that rammed their way into her mind. But she still could feel her brow begin to sweat as she imagined the judgment of Takeda-sensei and her peers. 'did I say something wrong? did I cross one of those invisible lines? I haven't been here long enough to master any of their foreign customs! Why is nobody-' The approach of another squad thankfully broke the silence of her first-day stress spiral.
Lumika let out an audible sigh of relief as the pale-haired man crested the horizon. Like a good soldier, Lumika kept her place like a post on the ground. 'Wow... I'm so lucky to be getting taught by Takeda-sensei! She is highly respected and can get compliments from boys without even trying! I bet she has lines of suitors waiting to give her flowers!' Lumika blushed as she imagined herself as a mature woman in a beautiful red kimono, lounging on a fist-shaped throne fanning herself, as lines of boys bring her boxes of fresh barbeque. A sudden squeal knocked Lumika out of her brief daydream. She looked around the training ground to find the source of the disturbance. It was the white-haired boy standing behind Kenji-san. Gripping his leg, he looked scared, or... infatuated with Kimi & Rina. Lumika was not quite sure which yet, as she was a complete novice in romance. But either way, the atmosphere seemed relaxed enough at this point that it would be okay to approach him.
Lumika took advantage of the boy's fixation on his peers and tried to casually sneak her way around behind the scared white-haired boy. Whether he notices her or not. She would open one of her snack seals and start eating some dried apple slices. After a sudden crunch, she says "Apple??" With a friendly toothy smile, holding out some slices to share. If she surprised him, she would giggle innocently. "Sorry... My name is Lumika Suto, You might know my sister Kuree. We're from Sunakage. What is your name?" she said still holding the apple slices out for him even if he hadn't taken any at this point. She was determined to share with him unless he outright refused.
Quiet.......Nothingness.............Gasp! The body reflexed and convulsed against his will, sending him forward onto his hands and knees; much like how he was when Koji let go of him. His last moments were still playing in his mind as if it was still happening to him in slow motion. He still felt cold steel on his neck, blood flowing out of his body, his brain still simulating the feeling of what he thought to be his neck being cut. Gorudo was heaving and gasping trying to breathe, his brain still certain that he couldn't. His entire body and senses being consumed by the pull of death "Na....Na...Naruko! I...I'm Sorry!!"
Garudo cried out pathetically, his throat horse and rasp. His whole body felt cold, like the steel that was at his neck. His ears began to start ringing as the many sharp scrapes and clangs of Koji's kunai barrage from erlier began to pile on top of Garudo's weakened mental state. Things he was trying to block out... began to consume him. Desperately heaving air in and out of his body rapidly, tensing the muscles in his neck, combined with the stress and anxiety forced Garudo's body to vomit onto the ground near him, falling off his hands and knees. He opened his eyes briefly, seeing Naruko's face before falling unconscious a second time.
But this time...there was space, there was peace, a peace he was attuned to. He felt the warm comfort of his bed. His mother's arms embracing him. There was no sound, no intrusive thoughts crowding his mindscape. A little Garudo began running around with their arms out pretending to fly with his new friend Naruko, which quickly turned into an impromptu game of tag. Then the world around him shifted to nighttime. Suddenly Garudo and Naruko were dressed in makeshift ninja outfits, now they were a few years older. "Okay! Garu, dis is a tawp seqwet mission, stwait from the Hokagy demselfs!" Little Naruko said to him as quietly as she could but wanted to emphasize the seriousness of the mission. Garudo said nothing and gave her a serious nod in return; appropriate to the level of serious seriousness that this mission required. "In your daddies room is a secret thingy that holds all de secrets in the entire woooooorld! I knows because I saws where he puts it. He didn't want anyone seeing where hehehe"
Suddenly time seamlessly leaps forward. Garudo and Naruko were ninja crawling across the tatami mat floor of his dad's "meditation" room. Garudo and Naruko gently lifted a loose panel in the floor revealing a secret storage compartment! Garudo's face began to scrunch up in confusion at what he was looking at. Because it currently didn't look like something that had all the secrets in the world. Naruko giggled as she grabbed the magazine titled Bare Kum♡ichi #17 and just as she held it in her hands his dad burst into the room!
Suddenly Gorudo awoke again just as his dad was about to lecture them. Gorudo was awake again, a smell filling his nose. He reflexively rose to a sitting position with his knees up. Opening his eyes he could see Naruko and Nijira awake and alive, this sight brought him instant comfort. But that was short-lived as the feelings of his recent traumatic experience began to flood back into his mind. Garudo clenched his hands around his head, trying to push the coldness of death away. But along with that coldness was a strange satisfaction that scared him even more, similar to the peace of his own dreams, the calm solitude of a normal mind. Garudo could now fight back against The Quiet, feeling his neck was closed made it seep back farther. Quickly he searched to check his other wounds, he found that they had been tended to, he continued to try and gain more ground against The Quiet.
He felt something in his nose which he quickly pulled out and threw away. The mental fog began to clear, his personal torment started to drift to the back of his mind, Garudo tried to focus on the surrounding nature and people around him, trying to focus on something else, anything else, The Quiet became a pulse in the back of his mind, numb and subdued like the awareness of one's heartbeat after running past their limits, his head pounded like a migraine. It was just then that Koji announced the end of the test, and gave them a promise that they won't have to go through that again. Garudo had his own frustrations to announce but Nijira went first... Garudo had no idea Nijira felt so insecure about himself, Garudo wondered if Nijira felt like he was lucky, if he was really that weak, they wouldn't let him be shinobi... would they? Gorudo gave himself a research project for later but quickly tried not to ponder the implication of the results, as he was trying to keep death off his mind as much as possible.
With Nijira done speaking Garudo added "And what kind of half-assed reasoning is that!?" Garudo said and then immediately mimicked Koji's stance and voice with a surprising amount of accuracy for a 13-year-old boy"That was your last moment. My goal as your sensei is to make it so you will never experience that again." Then he switched back to his own voice "Why not just knock us out! make us wake up thinking we died! NOT ACTUALLY SIMULATING DEATH! are you nuts! did your sensai hit you too hard in the head!? Because of you! I will experience it multiple times! Did you skip that part of my file? I. cant. forget! I will now have this experience permanently engraved into my brain! Mission accomplished Takuma Sensai! What's next!?" Garudo said, he was furious; he found his sensai's logic unsatisfactory "I will pay for lunch, but first I will have to leave you in this desert with no food or water for 3 days." Garudo mimicked him again. But the thought of dying in the desert triggered The Quiet to send shivers through his body, feeling the cold steel press on his neck once more, causing him to cough again until he pushed The Quiet back. He then needed something to draw his focus so he looked at Naruko. He Remembered the things they had done together, he used those positive memories to push The Quiet back.
"Are we done today?" Garudo said with a pained grimace, tears started to form in his eyes, he had never felt so angry before, he had never yelled at anyone like that before, he felt guilty about it, but he at the same time didn't regret saying how he felt. Today was a big day for him and it had not gone how he wanted it to go. his body was relatively uninjured, but the mental gymnastics he was doing combined with the emotional fatigue had him drained. He wants to be a part of this team because this had been Naruko & his dream for so long, so he was willing to continue no matter what. But he would really prefer to just go home, hug his mother, and sleep. "If there is more you need from us, let's just get it over with..." Garudo said, an uncharacteristic edge was in his voice. He wiped the tears from his eyes and stared at his sensai with a combative glare.
Silence.............Gasp!Body reflexed and convulsed against his will, sending him forward onto his hands and knees; much like how he was when Koji let go of him. Linden can in short be described as a reckless troublemaker. If not for his ability to get the job done, he would be a guildless vigilante. Linden is a careless thrill seeker, he will often opt to take the path he deems the most enjoyable for him; even when the alternate route is more trouble than its worth. All that matters to him is if he gets to be more creative doing it. If he were not a gifted mage, he would probably have lived the life of a traveling minstrel.

The eldest child of the Rainier family. Raised to be unwanting; the best education, clothes, food that money could buy. His days were scheduled and regimented every single day by a personal scheduler. All his time from school, magic training, and even his free time; were all contained within the huge mansion built by his great, great, grandparents when they were the best supplier of horses for the armies of Fiore. Since then, more competition has risen putting pressure on the Rainier estate to provide the fastest and best-trained horses in Fiore. Since his birth, it has been expected of him to take responsibility for the family business, but all he has ever wanted was to escape his planned future.
Linden showed promise as a dressage trainer, teaching horses how to perform tasks useful in a battle, kicking, diagonal movement, high jumping, biting, and more. He preferred teaching them how to trot and spin, he didn't like the idea of horses or any animal being in wars. In an act of defiance, after his schooling and training, he would spend his time helping with chores in the stables, his parents insisted on him staying inside and letting the laborers do their job, and this only made him want to do it more. This was also the only way Linden was able to spend more time with his horse Gregory, Linden was 10 years old when Gregory was born, each child of the Rainier house gets to choose what kind of horse they want, Linden wanted a white horse, his parents made the arrangments to breed him one, but Gregory was born brown but with white streaks of hair in his mane, he was perfect! his horse had hair just like him.
On Linden's 18th birthday, he made preparations the night before, to leave home permanently. Not forever, but he was no longer going to live with his family anymore, he was going to take his gift money, and run for the hills. He was finally going to give himself the gift of freedom. At the apex of his birthday ball, Linden made a speech to his family and party-goers, he wished them love, and in a dramatic exit that he practiced many times, he launched himself out of the ballroom window and onto the back of his trusty steed Gregory, his parents were furious and scared by his stunt. He would get 3 whole months to himself before some sapphire hornet guild members came and tracked him down and brought him home.
Linden and his parents had a heart to heart, he explained to them how miserable his life had been, and the best 3 months of his life were ones he spent on the road. Linden's father was the most reluctant to let his air run about the country fighting who knows what. After weeks of debate and compromise his parents finally agreed to let him join the Sapphire hornet guild. Where he could be a part of a team and his movements could be tracked to a degree.
Guild life was exactly everything Linden wanted: people to see, new places to go, adventures to be had, and also,, being a part of a team was fun. Though if not for his father having connections within Sapphire hornet to monitor him, Linden would have definitely joined Falcon flight. He finally felt like he belonged somewhere.
Needless to say, that the decimation of the guilds was a dark time for everyone involved. Linden admired the Falcon flight guild a lot, he took immense pride in helping fight back hydra tongue. Helping improve armaments and fortify defenses gave a needed edge to the retaliation forces and due to the high stakes of the task at hand; Linden proved to be a helpful innovator when it came to efficiency planning and strategy. Because he was focusing all his creative thoughts into productive plans rather than flashy, wasteful, fun ones.
Post tragedy, Linden has done his best to try and maintain a positive outlook. Koining the guild was an unexpected but very logical move, and as a bonus gave Liden the ability to perform missions on his own if he chose to. Meaning it became harder for his life to continue to be monitored; getting even more of a taste of the freedom he craves.

Augment magic: Linden is able to Augment weapons, and Items/objects with elements. Based on his frequent use of specific elements, he can learn how to affect how the Element interacts with the object, such as; choosing whether the wind magic sucks or blows after every swing, if the fire on his sword is stationary or if it swirls around his sword like a saw. Linden is also able to augment items, and objects to resist a single specific element or emit the element, he has not been able to figure out if it is possible to do both.
Re-quip: Linden is able to use re-quip magic to change out his weapons and armor magically; to give him different tools for different occasions. This magic requires that he stores these items somewhere to be called upon. Linden has converted his old bedroom into his own armory inside his parents' estate.
✖ ‖ S p e l l s
Augment Element: this is Linden's primary magic ability, this core ability is what allows him to insert an element inside an object. With frequent uses of an element he can learn new ways to use the element. to make an element more effective Linden has to use an element that he is less proficient with. Its base ability is to emit the element from the object, so if he were to augment something with water, it would just pitifully spew water continuously like a tiny hole in a bucket. Linden is not able to use more than one element on an object at the same time, and he is unsure if such a thing is possible.
Dispell Element: This is the ability he uses to remove an element he has inserted inside an object. This does not allow him to dispel other elemental spells, nor can he insert this spell inside an object.
Augment Fire: When augmented with the fire element, an object begins to produce flames across its surface, without any focusing the flames can ignite flammable objects and produce light but lack heat. But thanks to Linden's frequent use of fire magic, he is able to change the intensity of the flames and the heat they produce from the object.
Augment Fire: Fire saw: With familiarity with fire magic, Linden is able to focus the flames around his sword into an intense streamline across the edge of his blade. the flames quickly run from tip to hilt making a saw-like edge, allowing him to more easily cut through harder objects.
Augment Fire: Knight Fury: this is an example of a more advanced fire technique Linden has developed by using fire magic frequently, in this state Linden augments his sword and shield with fire magic, his blade and shield becomes sheathed in flame, it can not only burn flammable objects but can heat what it touches, causing the metal to heat up if it makes contact with his weapons long enough, with enough time contact with this heat could cause permanent damage to other equipment unless they have the ability to resist fire
Augment Earth: When Linden puts the earth element inside an object, the earth around him rapidly approaches the object. "quite scary the first time, if you didn't know it was going to happen". It makes objects more durable, more elementally resistant except with water, and larger.
Augment Earth: Dike: Linden touches the ground and a 5 feet square collum breaks from the ground sending him into the air, useful for helping him get to higher places, and pranks on the unsuspecting guild members.
Augment Earth: Tower Shield: using this, earth quickly collects onto his shield making a much larger shield, big enough for three people to stand behind close together, The thick layer of earth makes it useful for defense, but the weight of it slows Linden down significantly.
Augment Wind: it causes a nice breeze to blow from the object, good on a hot day.
Augment Wind: Wind mine: Linden inserts wind inside an object to wait to be triggered till someone touches it, the wind isn't strong enough to be useful in combat yet, but it is good for blowing up some skirts.
Augment Metal: when Linden augments arms and armor or objects with the metal element, it either turns it into metal or purifies the metal already there making it stronger but also twice as heavy.
Augment Metal: Tac: this augment either causes the surface of a metal object to bend and pucker creating metal points across it or in the case of his wooden sword, it grows metal shards out of it.
Augment Metal: Odachi: Sticking his sword into the ground, when Linden performs this spell his sword dips into the ground till the hilt touches the ground, Linden then grabs the hilt to pull out a very long, super hard, and very heavy sword, using this spell Linden is able to cut very hard objects but gets tired very quickly from swinging so much weight, in his current state he could only comfortably swing this sword once before he starts to pull muscles in his arms, back, and legs.
✖ ‖ T a l e n t s
He possesses great strength and talent for magic. He is a talented horse trainer. a gifted sword and shield weilder.
✖ ‖ O d d i t i e s
Linden may be a well-trained swordsman, but he uses a shield because he is nowhere near talented enough to defend himself with his sword alone, he also lacks physical durability to take many direct hits. His creativity and mischievous ideas tend to get him into a lot of trouble most of the time. He also carries a deep-seated hatred for himself wherever he goes, he can't bear to look at himself, he avidly avoids mirrors, and he can't stand to hear a clock ticking; he can't stand to think about time being wasted not doing something great/"fun" (just another reason why he prefers to live on the road, out in nature)
✖ ‖ W e a p o n s A n d T o o l s
A chained wooden training sword, and his metal shield. His horse Gregory carries his food and camping equipment on his saddle.
His prayers were answered, good old faithful Naruko, he was worried that she might try to do somthing completley off the rails. But refreshingly she did exactly what he asked of her, and in a creative way! Gorudo was always impressed by Naruko's quick thinking. Somtimes her plans can occasionally miss the mark, but not today, today she was on fire. As it should be! they both had been looking forword to this day for a long time. Gorudo had the perfect opening he needed for his toad tongue to wrap around the scroll, the scroll shot back towards Gorudo as his tongue retracted.
The scroll slapped against his face, and it remained against his mouth being held by his tongue to leave his hands free. Gorudo felt a warm sense of satisfaction at how well his plan has worked, but Gorudo then started to notice that his cut left shoulder and his right thigh started to get warmer, the warmth was from more blood escaping his body as two kunai prenetrated his body, his pants and shirt were getting excessively saturated from his blood. And just as quickly as his plan worked. He was captured.
'Shit...'
"Escape this yourself. Prove you're worthy. Before I decide you're not and end it." Takuma sensei issued this challege to Gorudo. Gorudo still had not made up his mind wether to beleive his death threats, so outwordly Gorudo kept his cool. But reguardless of if the threats are genuin or not, Gorudo felt in danger. Nijira was nowhere to be seen, and neither was Komi, and he had a dangerously sharp kunai close to his neck.
Seconds felt like minutes as Gorudo's brain started working on a solution to getting out of the grasp of a Jounin. The test was somewhat possible with all three of them together, but for Gorudo to try and beat a Jounin in a contest of strength would have been pointless, Gorudo knew he needed to find a way to slip his grasp... Gamaboro!
Gamaboro waited patiently in Gorudo's waist pouch. With the zipper open he could see the sky and some of Gorudo's head. The plan was when Gorudo got the scroll he was going to put the scroll in his pocket and then Gamaboro was going to transform into the scroll to form a duplicate. Gamaboro could tell that the plan had gone wrong somehow as he suddenly felt a jolt of motion knocking his sunglasses out of place, Gamaboro quickly repositioned himself and his glasses and carefully peaked out of Gorudo's pocket. 'THE KID IS CAPTURED!?!' Gamaboro screamed in his head as he retreated back into the bag, 'what am I going to do? how am I going to save him!? How am I going to save myself!? I am dead as a belt if his dad finds out I failed to save his son, I'll be outcast from the mountain for sure! and nobody really likes me to begin with! AND-' Gamaboro's thoughts were interrupted by hearing Gorudo "Gamaboro! Oil bullet!"
A bit of opportunity was made for the little toad within the pocket from Naruko's swift intervention, she clearly wasn't letting her friend down! Gorudo could see sensei's further away arm have to raise away from him as he'd swiftly thrown multiple kunai at Naruko's shuriken. With two swift throws he'd hurled out four separate weapons that each pinned into the open rings in the middle of the shurikens, slamming them into trees to pin them down and keep the wires from being able to move in. Naruko's enclosing circle at Koji's back had become a pinned open rectangle. Still, the distraction gave Gamaboro the opening to spit out the oil bullet, slamming into Koji's arm and soaking him in slick oil from his shoulder, his arm, and all over his chest and Gorudo too! Gorudo had the perfect opportunity to slip out...
'Yes! right on target!' Gorudo thought to himself as he felt the freedom of escapeing Koji's grasp. Gorudo felt his right leg give way as the kunai damaged a muscle he would have used to run, but Gorudo quickly knew what he needed to do. Toad leg time, Gorudo formed the Serpent hand seal once more the scroll dropping from his mouth and held by his arms, the toad tongue vanishing in a puff of smoke, and just as Gorudo was going to change his legs to toad legs he felt Takuma sensei grab him, and just as quickly he felt Takuma sensei's kunai cut across his neck.
'What? no! this doesn't make sense?!' Gorudo thought as he couldn't speak, he was being held by his neck. He couldn't see his neck but from the blood that poured out from Koji's hand Gorudo knew he wouldn't be able to anyway, with his neck cut Gorudo struggled to breath 'No! this cant be right! it is illogical! why bring us out here, why make us do anything! why!' Gorudo continued to try and rationalize the situation. Gorudo tried to struggle himself free, kicking and pulling at his arm pointlessly 'This can't be it! I'm suppost to be the greatest sage of all time! this cant be IT it doesnt make sense! it....doesn't...no...' Gorudo's mind started to get overloaded with trying to find the logic in the situation, looking for any clues or reasoning, the pain of the kunai replaying and replaying every second endlessly, tormenting him, he felt himself dieing, he watched his blood pour out onto himself and on his murderers hands until his conciousness completely blacked out. his last wish as he was cast to the ground was that Naruko save herself, and not blame herself for his death. the tears in his eyes falling across his face and soiling the bloody oiled ground, just as the light completely eclisped and escaped his eyes.
Defeat. Lumika was overflowing with disbelief, after all, she did; after all, she had done, It was not enough. Lumika layed in the ground motionless, her face surrounded by dirt, and in her personal darkness, she tried to comprehend such a loss, retracing her steps in the fight. 'Those eyes... How am I going to ever match such an ability?' Lumika had thought to herself lost in her own mind to find an answer, she heard someone talking assertively, she could feel the bass of their voice vibrating through the dirt in her ears... Ew, Lumika tried to move her arms but lacked the energy to do it, the muscles in her face started to tense as she tried to focus all her brainpower on forcing her body to move. Something everyone in her family learns at a young age, to fight through exhaustion and pain.
While Lumika was making a rather embarrassing face; fortunately her face is in the ground currently. Lumika felt a series of punches to her spine 'NO! is this IT?!? did sensei order Rina to break my spine?!! to finish me-' her thoughts of terror and turmoil were interrupted by her back making a loud crack as a particularly crooked part of her spine came back into alignment and a wash of relief came over her body as her circulation; which she didn't even realize she was lacking, returned 'oooooh... that was nice~' shortly after that thought Eri sensai had flipped Lumika over to deliver a final few punches to her ribs; Lumika's face looked like she was asleep with her eyes open, her face was completely relaxed. Her relaxation was interrupted by seeing Eri sensai punching her, and feeling better for it? 'wha- how- this- huh?!' each question in her mind seemed to punctuate each punch 'Woah... feel good punches, is this a secret of the leaf village? is this something Takeda sensai invented? it is truly my honor to be in the presence of such greatness... I hope sensai will forgive me one day for this loss...' Lumika remained on the ground in her ditch. "Lumika, you pass!"
Like a bolt of lightning striking a steel rod, pure energy circulated through her, Takeda sensei's first sentence to her filled her with so much raw joy that all she could do is yell after she jumped to her feet "YEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!" the rest of Takeda sensei's words fell on deaf ears; possibly because there was still dirt in them. Lumika's body then started to propel her forward, she couldn't keep herself still on an occasion like this! Lumika began to start running around the general area she stopped in various spots to jump, flex, and punch the air 'Hell yeah! I did it! I won! what was I thinking? of course I won! I achieved the objective!' Lumika had thought to herself before she herd sensei exclaim "Now!" This snapped Lumika immediately out of her short celebration party of one.
Lumika stood fiercely at attention, briefly holding a salute, then relaxing to parade rest; Lumika all the while had a beaming smile. All the jumping and excitement knocked enough dirt out of her ears to hear sensei much more clearly; Lumika still quickly gave her ears a swipe just to make sure. Lumika did not raise her voice to opt-out of any further training, with just three words sensei gave her enough revived mental fortitude to do whatever she asked. Lumika would surely be riding this high for the rest of the day no matter what happend.
Lumika listened to Mika's assessment of her with extra patience and consideration "Thank you, I will keep that in mind." Lumika returned Mika's thumbs up with one of her own. Mika's assessment of Rina was very offputting for her 'I don't know about obvious superior if I was so inferior she wouldn't need to try at all, angry or not. I probably shouldn't read too much into his words, he seems kinda two-faced so far, but no matter what, I need to get faster, not just stronger!' Lumika raised her fist to herself, she stared down at her fist and watched as it started to get redder from clenching her fist so tight 'if I am going to keep up with my teammates, I am going to need to push myself farther than I ever have before! I will make them proud!' Lumika thought about her parents and her training with even more renewed determination.
Waiting patiently Lumika waited for Mika to finish "With your permission Takeda Sensei I will go next!" Lumika said with a salute; holding it until Lumika received an answer.
When an answer is given if she were to go next or last Lumika had this assessment to say "First in regards to Rina, her strengths that I have gathered is that she is a very strong combatant, agile, powerful, her clans kekkei genkai gives her a fierce edge, but it is because of all the power she contains, that she becomes wild, overconfident, and angry, clouding her better judgment in the midst of a combat scenario" Lumika said plainly and objectively trying her best to not let their fight get in the way of her honesty, she was still her teammate after all and she truly only wanted to help, if asked Lumika would be more then happy to work out their weaknesses together.
"Second Kimi, I am unsure of her physical strength but she is fast and shows that she can think quickly on her feet creating on the spot tactics, unfortunately, because of my antagonization of Rina, for the last portion of the test I was unable to continue to get any more valuable samples of her strengths as I was too focused on achieving my objective, however, a weakness could be that when the fight started to heat up she could not think of a way to intercept herself between us, showing a possible lack of motivation, but as stated before I lack enough proper evidence to make any further assessments, there is not a doubt in my mind however that Kimi is a valuable asset to our team" Lumika felt some of the things she said seemed a bit harsh, so she wanted to make sure Kimi knew that she respected her.
"I have just met Mika so I cannot speak much on his strengths but I can say that shouting and making proclamations before entering a battlefield is not the greatest tactic unless you are intentionally trying to be a distraction. I will say that having just fought two Uchiha, I am certain he has strengths."
"remember Kuree, they can't learn if their dead" Kuree thought of someone saying to her, she wasn't sure if she was just imagining it or if someone has actually said it to her before. Kuree didn't continue to keep her mind busy with thoughts of speculation, she needed to keep her composure so that Burai could still feel her anger, she wasn't really angry at them, frustrated, maybe a little, but she was using a technique she learned where you project your feelings about other people and things and form it to fit the situation. With her stern face she holds the horse seal and two more Kuree appear next to her, she looks at them and gives them a nod, and they vanish from her side, circling the clearing in a triangle formation, simultaneously each Kuree places their pointed hand to a trunk of a tree and like a flash of lightning their fists collide with the trees, the trees bend in half like a person getting punched in the stomach, the roots effortlessly escaping the earth, the speed, and momentum of her fist still being fast enough to send these folded trees towards the clearing where her students still stood.
it would take a few seconds for the trees to make it to the clearing, sounding like a large charging animal making its way through the forest as the tree smashed and ground against its fellow flora. Kuree used her one-inch punch for accuracy, her students had a few seconds before the trees would meet in the clearing, smashing against each other at the same time, blasting into splinters and pieces. The three Kuree would then continue to kick, punch and throw trees at the clearing at random, volleying her students with the surrounding nature. giving them time to make some kind of plan before she starts to make more direct attacks, and if they failed to come up with anything before she was ready, then perhaps she would need to prepare another lesson on how to act under pressure.
Gorudo had been making good time, everything had been going according to plan, as far as he knew, Gorudo was trying to get into position to spray mist but paused hearing their teacher call to them "Don't think the approach will be easy!" and in an instant a wave of kunai were flying through the forest, causing an onslaught of noise, the visual and auditorial mess that was sent in front of him caused him to freeze in place for a moment as his brain was processing all the information at once, the sounds of the kunai echoed in his mind rapidly and his brain would force him to see it all replay over and over, Gorudo closed his eyes and covered his ears trying to shut it out. Gamaboro peaked out of Gorudo's pocket sensing something was wrong and before he could do anything a dog came flying through the trees and tackled Gorudo down onto the tree branch.
Gorudo felt himself get pushed down, he also felt a slight pinch on his right shoulder, he wasn't sure what just happened but he had hoped when he opened his eye he wasn't impaled by anything, opening his eyes he saw Nijira's dog on his chest... Komi he remembers hearing Nijira say to himself when referring to his dog at school "Thanks Komi" Gorudo whispered with a smile, he then turned his head to find a kunai cut through his vest and into his shoulder, Gorudo's face scrunched up as he started to really feel the cut now that he could see it eeeeehh could be worse Gorudo thought to himself as he tried to power through it, Gorudo gave Komi a nod of thanks, Gorudo looked out at the barrier of kunai still blocking his path, Gorudo closed his eye and shook his head trying to focus, doing his best to tune out the noise, this was not a difficulty Gorudo thought he would have to deal with today. Taking a deep breath Gorudo opened his eyes determined to focus on what is directly in front of him, he didn't have much farther to go, he hoped once he obscured Koji sensei's vision he would stop throwing so wildly
Carefully making his way through the trees like he was before, avoiding further kunai projectiles, now in position Gorudo performed the Hikigae skilled mist technique focusing to make it as non-acidic possible, and within moments a thick fog started to fill the area around the scroll and their teacher, Gorudo Quickly got into position and holding a serpent hand seal Gorudo's neck widened like a toad and a long tongue quickly shot out from his mouth toward the scroll, like a toad catching its next meal, he just hopped it found its mark. by himself, he was more than sure this attempt would fail. He prayed Naruko and Nijira were right behind him with support.
