@The Wild West I...suppose my biggest gripe is how he operates those arms NOT actively being normal arms. And what those extra arms can do in terms of limitations to use besides a "limited movement range." I'd also like to know how he keeps all six hidden if they stick up like they seem to in the uncovered picture. And some specifics about what kind of spells he uses.

-@Zarkun

I see that once one set reaches to the main state, meaning that the arms are in front of Flint that they move similar to the regular movements compared to biological arms. It is as if the joints work similar to such of a normal arm, it is connected to the shoulder mount, elbow pivots the arm, and finally the wrist that can twist in such a way similar to any human arm could do. I could add that unless put in the main state, the arms are nonactive until rotated into the front of him. The drawing is more of just a pose than actually fighting, trying to show off the dimensions of it so people wouldn't get too confused by the design. Flint can, once he rotates them out, contract them so that forearm is latched onto the shoulder to provide space inside the poncho, but if you want I could make him have a slight hunchback to hint at the machine underneath.

As for spells, I sort of took direct inspiration from the Magicka series in terms of combining spells. Each arm can literally only produce one spell.
  • Water - Can shoot out water in varying pressures.
  • Fire - Stream of fire that is just as hot as normal fire.
  • Lightning - Charge of lightning at short burst.
  • Arcane - Unadulterated power, simply of beam of energy.
  • Frost - Shoots out a stream of very cold wind, freezing temperature.
  • Earth - Shoots out a chunk of rock, the longer the spell is held, the faster it shoots out.

Combinations would include, but not limited to,
  • Water+Frost=Ice
  • Water+Fire=Steam
  • Steam+Lightning=Electrified Steam
  • Earth+Fire=Fireball
  • Earth+Frost=Frostball
  • Arcane+Any element besides earth/lightning=Arcane beam laced with that element
  • Ice+Lightning=Electrified Ice

To save time, here is a whole chart.

Edit: You can ignore the lime green symbols, they were supposed to represent the healing spell in Magicka, but I didn't include it as I couldn't fit anymore spells in the Six Shooter.

Edit 2: I can also add as a deterrent, to combine spells, that he needs to have a stronger version to overlap the last spell meaning that he has to deplete the magic reserves faster to make stronger combinations. Plus the time to rotate out new arms to combine them in the first place.

Edit 3: I should also specify which side has which spells on the Six Shooter.
  • Left - Fire, Earth, Lightning
  • Right - Water, Arcane, Frost

Edit, Too many edits: Oh, I get what you were saying Zarkun about how the arms work. I imagine it that the main device that is connected to the shoulders can rotate itself between the arms at free will as the shoulder mount itself is connected to the body. Now, the main position, is where the arms are in front of the user, when the arms rotate, it sort of clicks into the main position when one arm rotates far enough into the position. Soon, it allows the connection to begin between the nervous system from the shoulder piece to connect to the individual arm. I'll also add that design causes movements to be more stuff and clunky compared to regular arm movement, but can still move around at a decent pace.
Name: Flint Dunigan

Age: Somewhere around his late 20’s to early 30's.

Birthday: Summer, or so go the stories.

Magic: The Six Shooter; A contraption that allows Flint to, in all technical terms, use magic in where he has none at all. There are two sets, each replacing his arms to allow complete control of the machines, it is almost as if he was born with them. The main mechanism is the replacement of his shoulder joint, allowing free movement in a complete 180° angle, though the main purpose of this device is to rotate between the three mechanical arms that it sports. Each arm itself is nonactive outside of its main position, but once it attaches to said position, it allows for regular movement in where all arms are normally able to move. Every single arm is able to cast one type of magic, each powered by a magically charged lacrima, similar to that of what Edolas casters used in their weapons. Since each arm contains one type of elemental magic, there are six that are in Flint's disposal. These include Frost, Earth, and Lightning on the left, with Water, Frost, and lastly Arcane on the right. Wielding one of these powers is a dangerous feat, but with The Six Shooter, it makes him six times more dangerous. Still, these magically charged lacrimas individually are far less powerful compared to the real deal that are born naturally in mages. The true power comes when Flint is able to combine these elemental magics in a way only multiple skilled mages working together could muster. However, to combine these spells, he needs to have a stronger version to overlap the last spell meaning that he has to deplete the magic reserves faster to make stronger combinations.

Magic Level: Not Available

History: “Born in the west”, that is the only piece of information that people can absolutely agree upon with this mysterious man. Not much else is known about his past, but the good heroic deeds that he had done are recorded in lips of drunken men and romanticized dime novels. Flint is dramatized to be one of the best spell slingers in the west, and triple the man of anyone in the world. And word had it that Flint Dunigan, already conquering the west, is moving to find new lands to explore and hunt.

Personality: Surprisingly, Carson is more human than what people are lead to believe from the stories. He isn’t the cold-blooded killer that eats bullets and pure grit for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Flint is a man that is otherwise gruff and tough on the outside, but can show compassion for those that have earned it. Though, this doesn’t mean that Flint can’t be a lean, mean killing machine.

Guild: Frenzy Plant

Guild mark location: None, currently.

Team Members: At the moment, none.

Three Strengths:
  • Sharp eye, can spot and notice little things that people would normally glance over.
  • Fast reflexes, can raise and cast spells in under half a second.
  • Crackshot, combined with his reflexes causes for some bad times for enemies.

Three Weaknesses:
  • Unbalanced, if you catch him off guard, the weight from his machines can be used against him if his stance isn’t right.
  • Slow, weighed down by all the metal, his finely tuned body is on average with a decent athlete.
  • Weapon Reliant, Flint needs the Six Shooter for all combat purposes, and if disabled or destroyed, he is completely vulnerable to all types of attacks.

Greatest Love: Making money, helping people.

Motivation: To put bad guys to rest while making a profit out of it.

Appearance: Flint is normally almost covered head to toe in clothing, hiding his identity from the masses. He leaves mainly his eyes visible, showing off the dark brown color and tanned skin. He wears a large poncho covering him from his collar bone to the ankles, leather boots, mask covering the bottom portion of his face, and finally a nice large sombrero on his head. However, dealing with the large Six Shooter can be trouble when trying to conceal it under the poncho, so Flint has them contract so that forearm is latched onto the shoulder to provide space inside the poncho, but this still causes him have the look of a slight hunchback to hint at the something strange underneath. The color scheme can be much like light brown to dark brown, having the general appearance of dirt and dust. Outside of the poncho, Flint doesn't seem to wear a shirt, revealing his above average physique. He isn't completely naked as his leather chaps are worn, the sombrero would have removed by some point, but the mask still covering his bottom portion face. Though, this would reveal his hair to be a black greasy mess that reaches to the ears.

Spell List:

Major Spells:

  • Water - Can shoot out water in varying pressures.
  • Fire - Stream of fire that is just as hot as normal fire.
  • Lightning - Charge of lightning at short burst.
  • Arcane - Unadulterated power, simply of beam of energy.
  • Frost - Shoots out a stream of very cold wind, freezing temperature.
  • Earth - Shoots out a chunk of rock, the longer the spell is held, the faster it shoots out.

Example Combinations:
  • Water+Frost=Ice
  • Water+Fire=Steam
  • Steam+Lightning=Electrified Steam
  • Earth+Fire=Fireball
  • Earth+Frost=Frostball
  • Arcane+Any element besides earth/lightning=Arcane beam laced with that element
  • Ice+Lightning=Electrified Ice

@Lugubrious, are you accepting any more people into Frenzy Plant? I feel that the whole mercenary guild would be a better fit for the bounty hunter character that will join this RP. I can join through battling a C-Class wizard or have long standing relationships within the guild, either would be fine with me if you would let me join.
How do you join guilds in this RP? Do you need to do it IC after I've been accepted or do you just state that you are in that guild while building the CS?
Excuse me, but would you guys know when the end of this arc would end? I'm thinking of joining this RP, but entering so late would most likely cause some confusion, mostly on my part.
@Sophrus@solokolos

Sorry for the confusion, I'm currently yelling at Zach since Necro is hiding at the moment somewhere else in the alley.
Arsenal - Denver Alley

"Man, my back is killing me," Bill mumbled, performing several basic stretches to relieve the stress that plagued his body. It seemed that trying to become a living weapon was a real killer, the weight from his Six Shooter was putting some real pressure on himself, especially on his back. As he was stretching, Bill was in the lobby of a private airport, it was a decent distance away from the populated city of Denver, but it did allow the more questionable passengers to travel without security or capes breathing down their necks. It provided breathing space for villains, more so Arsenal in general as he would have been caught as early as passing through the metal detector. Still, Carson arrived at his destination in a timely manner, Denver being the closest populated city that provided one of the many headquarters that sprawled across America. Though, it was truly going nigh impossible challenge that he will be preforming, not only was he going to try to exterminate every known cape in the world, but most possibly have to kill every single aspiring hero during his onslaught. It truly is an impossible mission, but that didn't mean too much to Arsenal. He didn't expect to leave out of this journey alive, whether in the end if he would wind up dead, or if he would still be considered alive by the end of his mission. Carson sighed, it was something that he would just have to think about after he had crossed that endless bridge, but it was time to start this mission. He donned his costume, opened the doors, and entered to this bleak future ahead of him.

Now within the confines of the city after a long drive, Bill saw that the movements were slow, the crowds were big, and the entire area reeking of pollution. However, he quite happy with all that was going around him. Bill never left his home, the only interactions with humans were the occasional teacher and the humble servants. It was all very interesting, experiencing something outside of just plotting the defeat of his father. Though, in the exciting front of the city, Arsenal knew that his vengeance was more of a priority over enjoying life. Soon, the car gently stopped, he was more than a few blocks away from the PTR Headquarters. He needed to take in the city's design if he was going to make his escape after the shooting. It would be outright stupid to just shoot up a building full of super-powered beings and just run into the streets without any plan of escape. Thanking the man for the transportation after paying him, Bill exited the car and into the streets of Denver.

Immediately, as Arsenal left the safety of the tinted car window, most eyes landed upon the costumed stranger. This situation was feeling just a bit awkward, too many eyes glued upon him as he started to enter the crowd of civilians. They were most likely trying to figure out if the costume was just worn by a regular person or a cape. Arsenal just kept on moving, memorizing the streets, alleys, and other points of interest while making his way to the PTR Headquarters. Still, he was getting more than second glances at this point, and was pretty sure people were trying to take subtle pictures at the strangely dressed person. Bill started to move faster, trying to break the line of contact from the murmuring crowd, but it seemed that their persistence to meet a live parahuman was greater than expected. So as soon as he could, Arsenal subtlety shifted from out of the crowd and into the shadows of a nearby alleyway. Taking the path less chosen, he tried to work his way into the general direction of the headquarters. He tried to turn into another corner, then a force slammed against his side, forcing him to stumble against the object. "Watch where you're running!" Bill hissed out, turning to the stranger before his eyes laid upon the situation behind the stranger.

A boy, no older than himself was standing over a bloodied, screaming man with a crowbar in hand. The scene looked quite brutal, Bill could tell from this distance that the screaming man had severe blunt force trauma to the hip, done most likely by the imposing person. There was another trying to fight for their survival, and the stranger that ran into him was most likely trying to save himself from the menace. Arsenal scanned the teen, his build wasn't something quite proud of in a fight, and his stance was something that of someone who had never fought in their life. Yet, there lied severely brutalized tough, older male without a single scratch on his body. It seemed that Bill had caught sight of his first cape, hidden away in the back ally of this vacant lot. He squinted at the individual, the Six Shooter whirring underneath the poncho, and soon yelled at the stranger. "Are you are hero?"

@Eklispe Thank you very much for opinion on my character, and I would like to thank you again for bringing this piece of information to my attention as I wouldn't have caught it without your assistance.

@solokolos@ProPro Similarly, I thank you for enjoying reading my character, and I'm perfectly fine with waiting for tomorrow for your verdict.
