That was well played-out m35t3k, very well done. Ive added you to the current characters list
Accepted and added to the character list (he has been talking with me via pm almost every day.)

Name: Thomas Berkely
Age: 36
Gender: Male
Appearance: Thomas is tall (6'1"), with a medium build, weighing in at 215lbs. He has short, curly, light brown hair and dark brown eyes. He tends to always have a 5 o'clock shadow and a sort of pale complexion, as he never goes outside unless needed. He likes to wear a suit, no matter what he does, but sometimes, they tend to rip, causing him to have to get them tailored.
Personality: Thomas is a charismatic man, always using his charm to befriend those whom he wants as his allies. Though he never admits to it, he knows that one day, his charisma will, in fact, run out, causing him to lose all those whom he has befriended. He does, however, realize this, and tends to try his hardest to make sure that when his charm stops working, he will have made some true friends to be there.
Power/Ability: Fear. Not just causing fear itself, but the manifestation of a fear within your mind. Causing you to go insane, or mad with fear. Your worst fears, upon recieving a snap to you, are manifested within your mind and only the strongest of minds can truly escape. If you have a stronger mind, but cannot break away so easily, I can remain in eye contact and the fear grows stronger. If I lose eye contact, the power fades, but so long as you still have the fear, the mind still will at random times, manifest the fear again. If you are not the strongest of minds, the Fear is inescapable. I simply have to stay within a 25m radius to keep my hold on you. When the fear is manifested within your mind, your mind actually thinks that whatever is happening is real. Say your fear of manifestation is of fire. You will, in your mind, catch on fire, and though you are not actually burning, you will feel the pain as though you were through psychosis.
Team: Alpha (temporary?)
Extras: Thomas is a bit... demented. With his ability, he has developed insomnia and slight dementia, causing him to laugh maniacally at the screams of his victims. Honestly, he hates this ability and would love trade it for something else, if not get it removed completely. It has started affecting his mind, though a few slaps and a bit of shaking can bring him back to reality when he starts slipping into madness. During fights and such, he has to be constantly looked after, and recognizing this when he was concious enough to brand it in the back of his mind, he tends to stay by at least one person, for fear of truly slipping into madness. Not evil, Insanity.
I say on your own until beggar's point, but try to get there in 2 posts, even if you have to make them extremely long. Go ahead and use post one as a sort of intro for your character, and then you can make them arrive in post 2. But you DO have a group that you're leaving. No one was ever alone in this. Even if it's just 2 people. Find a way to abandon them.
"Glad to have you aboard. My name, if you were too lazy to read the last letter, is Zak. That's all you really need to know me by, as there is no purpose of my last name anymore. I was a reporter for Fox News and even CNN before the Keyfalls started. Now, I survive. Me and my pet Sapphron, here, my Bald Eagle. The United States doesn't really exist anymore, so technically, it's not illegal.

Anyway, I am glad you have shown interest in my calling. I have a caravan to meet you at Beggar's Point in two days. It has some supplies that may help. Do not worry, no one else shall be there. I arranged to have it.... cleared within a day.

That is really all the information I have for you at this time. If you wish to send any sort of letters back, anyone within your group can. Just keep the paper weight total under 1lb to make is easy on Sapphron. She tends to fly slower if the weight is too much.

Good luck on your trip, Zak."

As the letter was put down, all eyes turned to your small group reading the letter. It is up to you to make a decision. The rest of the group counts on it.
"High Commander Grant, there is a letter from you. It's marked urgent." The page was frantic as he spoke in to the comm system.
"Bring it to me," Grant's gruff voice came back through. During the original Keyfall outbreak, most of the major cities and governments had collapsed from a high amount of Keys. Now, 15 years later, the amount of Keyfalls per day had reduced to less than 10 across the entire planet and governments had been able to be set up. Grant, a former US Marine, was able to form together a vast army of over 10,000 men and claim most of the east coast, save for the Georgia and Florida areas. His border inward stopped at the Appalachians, as it was a natural barrier and prevented too much movement of the armies. Now, with his overall population reaching almost 300,000 in civilians and another 100,00 in military force, even with the small amount of land, Grant's territory, named The United Republic of America, was left alone and his army a force to be reckoned with.
The page entered, clothes messy and hair matted with sweat-- Virginia Summer heat will do that to you-- and handed Grant the letter, waiting patiently by the door for orders.
"You, uh," Grant started.
"Howard, sir. Lieutenant Howard." The page finished.
"Ah. Yes, Lieutenant Howard. Take this letter to General Davis and have him read over it and get back to me."
"Yes sir." And with that, the page took the letter and was gone, closing the door behind him.
"So," Grant spoke to himself, "There's a reporter, and he's recruiting civilians to help his cause. I guess that's just one more thing to keep my eye on."
First IC post goes up either tonight or first thing tomorrow morning. Depends what happens today.
Picture up. Sorry. Had to wait until I had computer access so I could get my fb pic url

Name: Michael Hughes
Age: 18 (almost 19)
Gender: Male
Orientation: Mostly Striaght, but if I find a guy truly attractive, I go for him.
Hometown: Texarkana
Occupation: Stay-at-home
Favourite Games: Battlefield 4, Destiny
Personality: I am the leader type, though I do better when I have advisors. Always able to figure out problems quickly, I use my natural born gift of intelligence to help me and my "team" through the problem. I tend to be a know-it-all, however, and, when in an argument, even if I know im wrong, I stick with my decision. Sometimes, I give in to reason, but most of the time, I try and use my options first. Its not that I think other's options arent good as well, its just that I like to try my own approach before relying on someone else.
Brief Bio: I started gaming when I was 6, beating Super Mario Bros for the NES on my 3rd try. After such, i started beating game after game, eventually calling myself the King of Games, until I met mjltiplayer. Now I am extremely good, mind you, as my Kd on most games never falls below 2, but I am definitely not the best. Up until 2 years ago, I didnt know what to call myself. Then I figured out that no matter what difficulty the game, I always found a way to beat it. I called myself the King Of Campaigns. It stuck even with my friends and I now even run a YouTube, constantly trying to better my own skills.
Other: The whole know it all thing tends to get me both into and out of trouble. I can get extremely good at lying, but at the same time, I always start up arguments.
I loved that show when I would watch it with my friend every time I spent the night
Bump. 2 days. C'mon guys. I would like a few more people.
