@TheIrishJJ Ah. I must've glossed over that detail. But my original point stands. They are too old - even in their younger forms - to portray teenagers (in our opinion). However, if you want some suggestions for "nerdy" and "cool" types, we can help you with your search. In fact, I have a few ideas if you're interested. You can use them as a sort of guide for your search. :)

As I said, I saw that Elizabeth Gilles was taken, so I went with Ally Sheedy because her appearance in The Breakfast Club is similar to what I wanted from Elizabeth Gillies.

Upbringing Synopsis

Dylan Howard was born in Manhattan to John Howard, a lawyer, and Alice Howard, a doctor. Dylan is the eldest of the triplets. Due to his parents’ high income, Dylan and his siblings were able to go to good private schools throughout their whole life. Dylan, naturally gifted in academics, decided to spend most of his time in the library, allowing him to gain straight As at school. Whilst his social life took a hit from this, he didn’t really care, deciding that he’ll be able to make friends once he gets into a good university, and then gets a good job. He’s now moved to Palm Beach, Florida, for his senior year of school. Dylan has never had a girlfriend, but he’s sure that he’ll find one, one day. Of course he’s also sure he’s straight, so who knows what will happen in a brand new city with brand new people?

Despite being quite vain and mean to some people, Paul managed to climb quite high on the social ladder at his previous schools, being able to befriend most people. However, behind the school stud, is the Paul that struggles with his family life, who doesn’t feel loved and appreciated, and frequently turns to alcohol to help with the pain. Paul has had many a girlfriend in the past, and broke up with his most recent one when he moved to Palm Beach with his family.

Pokemon: Coming of Age

Living on islands surrounded by canals his whole life, Mark had only had a couple of driving lessons, seeing as everything was pretty much within walking - or swimming - distance. There was no way he would be able to drive off-road - there wasn't even any off-road areas to drive on when he lived in Alto Mare! Magnus, however, had considerable off-road driving experience from his upbringing in the Orre region. After they drove most of the way into the Safari Zone, Magnus, at the suggestion of Victor, had his Ralts search out for any frightened pokémon, which had led them to their current situation - a Farfetch'd up a tree, with three poachers trying to get it out.

Mark thought for a while - how could these top these poachers? Then he had an idea, and told it to Victor and Magnus. "What if Lotad goes out there and uses astonish?" he told the two other guys, "Then, Ralts can teleport in and use confusion, and Humphrey can attack too?"

Lotad made a slightly scary face, clearly practicing for the event that Mark had suggested, growling quietly, "Lotad."

Mark decided that they had to at least try. If they didn't do that, then the poachers would be able to take all of the pokémon that they wanted. Anyway, they had time to get to know each other and their pokémon on the way to Fuchsia City. Mark replied to Magnus, "That's true. And it looks like we've got a range of pokémon and types here. Grass, water, psychic, fairy, and normal." he said, gesturing to Lotad, Ralts, and Humphrey respectively, "If we work together, and work well, we could be quite a formidable team, especially if we use our time on the way there well."

"Lotad," said Lotad, in a sort of agreement.

"Here we go, Lotad knows what I'm saying!

After a walk to the ferry terminal at Pallet Town, a ferry ride which Mark thoroughly enjoyed, and another walk once they got to Fuchsia City, they were standing outside the Safari Zone. Mark looked at the entrance, with Lotad at his side. When Magnus asked if they were ready, mark responded, "Absolutely."
