So at the moment, it looks like we have 3 Mercs, and 2 knights (including my characters) I'm trying to get at least one more knight character before we can begin, but others are more than welcome to join once the RP starts.

Also, in case I forgot to mention, players can be from any nation. I haven't included things about Rastra in the Country Profiles section but they are available as a nation too, and I can PM you info about them. I didn't include them mostly because they are very isolationist and secluded from the rest of the world.

@TimemasterLooks good to me now! Last thing I would ask is that you describe in your CS about how your character would use Arcane magic, whether it be from a spellbook, her hands, some sort of weapon, or staff, etc. Besides that, feel free to post your character in the character thread after that change!

@TimemasterGood start, but do you mind expanding on her personality just a bit? I want to know who she is as a character a bit more, like her likes and dislikes, and other ticks before I accept her.

With Arcane magic, offensive and defensive spells are possible, whether with a spell book, a staff/stave, or with your hands. You can get somewhat creative, but try to adhere by the rules and limitations I listed in the last page about magic.

@Doc DoctorAlright, well if that’s the case what I can do is accept your character without a side and see where I can place you at the start of the RP. We can talk about it and decide!

Personality: Erik is impulsive and short-tempered. He is quick to action when he believes it is necessary, and does not believe in waiting when something could be done. Although he does not always think about the consequences of his actions, Erik's heart is always in the right place. He is generally friendly, and steadfastly loyal to those he calls friend. He is also straigthforward and blunt, not always succumbing to noble etiquette and formalities.
Biography: As the younger son of Queen Jannis of Albia, Prince Erik enjoyed a rather privileged life. However, he despised the nobility life and wanted to go on adventures. Being second in line to the throne, Erik never had the pressures of learning to rule like his older brother Rolph. Queen Jannis wanted to encourage Erik to experience the outside world, so she sent him to other cities in Albia as well as other countries to learn and train. While he did that, Erik often got into mischief. In Monos, he studied with the crown prince Brandon of House Rolklin, where the two often got into trouble. Queen Jannis also allowed Erik to train in Maul as well. He became fast friends with Princess Anya, who enjoyed having fun as teenagers with Erik. While in Miricia, Erik would often train with the future King Jacob II.

Erik often neglected his duties and tried to have fun with his life. That was until he learned of his childhood friend's assassination. Normally, Queen Jannis would have sent her older son as a representative to find out about Jacob's death. However, Erik volunteered right away, to seek justice for his friend.

@Leo KhanYup! Miraheim was inspired in part by the Vikings and Norse Mythology. You'll actually find a lot of references in this RP to things I like from history, pop culture, Books TV and movies.

And sounds good! I'm trying to get a good number of people on both sides before we get rolling. I'd say 2-3 on each side would be good to start with, and if others join after they can be added in.

I’m going to post my own character at some point today. I’m looking for probably another 1-2 people before getting going. From there, it would be pretty easy for other characters/players to join later in each chapter.

@Sedjwick Yes, blending religion is totally fine for your character. And I could see enough people around follow that same blend. So go for it.

It’s unknown what religion the Monks of Ekilore follow, if any. They are believed to be prophets, but not of any particular religion.
