Current If I was ever in a death or glory situation, I'd want The Trooper by Iron Maiden play in the background.

Done, finally.
Awesome!
I watched Alien last night, I'll see if I can get Prometheus, if not I'll get cracking on my CS. I also played Alien Isolation (Great game btw) so I've got a good idea of the universe now.
-Name: Zelda Whitehead
-Appearance:
-Crew Position/Rank: Engineering Officer
-Age: 31
-Relevant History/Background:

Zelda Kate Whitehead was born on January 23, 2076 in Island Park, Idaho. Her parents were wealthy doctors who lived in the beautiful forests of Idaho, away from the general public. Zelda's childhood was a lonely one. Living in the mountains she had no friends except for her nanny. She spent most of her time outside, exploring the rivers and hills, finding new things the past had left behind. It was on one of these explorations she found broken controls to a space shuttle. She hauled it to her garage and started to take it apart. She spent the next couple of weeks studying that thing inside and out. When she put it back together, she noticed the lights were on. She pushed some buttons and flipped some switches but nothing happened. Her parents found the control panel and noticed how she had got it working. They were ecstatic, but Zelda was disappointed, the buttons and switches didn't do anything.

When Zelda was 10, her parents enrolled her in an expensive school in Utah. She excelled at Math and Science, especially physics and geometry. When she got into the higher grades, she attended classes that focused on space vessels and mechanical and electronic classes. She passed them with flying colors. By the time Zelda was 16, she knew what she wanted to do with her life. She wanted to become a Engineer and travel through space. When Zelda was 17 years old she was accepted into a university dedicated to all fields of Aerospace. After 6 years of intense study, Zelda earned her masters degree in Aerospace Engineering. Her parents were extremely proud of her and threw a party in her honor. Her mother died that night. She choked to death on her own vomit. Racked with grief, her father retired to their old home in Idaho, where he shut himself in, refusing anyone, even Zelda. Zelda's perfect life had crumbled down around her. In 2100, she got a letter from Weyland-Yutani offering her a job in a technology research team in London. The pay was great. She took the job, the last couple of months were hellish and she needed something to keep her busy. She worked with the team for two years, introducing new ideas to the company and responsible for innovations such as fuel efficient thrusters that are used currently. The company seemed satisfied to keep her with the team, but she wanted to see space. She applied for a colonization mission and was accepted. She was out in space for a year, keeping the ship in shape and helping the colonists set up shop on the new planet. She returned to earth with a new look on life, her eyes shining with the rekindled hope. She called her father, hoping to tell him about her journey. He picked up. It was the first time he had talked to her in 3 years.

Zelda kept on applying for space contracts. And while the company felt it was wasted talent, they allowed it, knowing any ship she was on was in safe hands. She relished the adventures of space. She went on dozens of missions, some long, some short. But by 2105, she was a veteran of space travel. She had finally found purpose in life, she was lost after the death of her mother and seclusion of her father. But she knew what she wanted to do until she died and her father called her on a regular basis. In the September of 2106, The Company sent her a notice that she had been nominated for a special mission, and should she accept, will be tested among hundreds of other candidates. The recruitment process was...grueling. So many questions and tests and reviews and assessments. But in the end, she was accepted. She was told this was very classified, so when her dad called she could tell him so much. But he was proud of her nonetheless and told her that he loved her. He hadn't said that since she graduated from college. A song in her heart and a twinkle in her eye, Zelda couldn't wait for this new assignment.
In 1995, an unnamed scientific organization abducted several infants from their homes. These infants were injected with a special chemical that causes painful mutations to occur throughout their life, the last mutation less painful than the last. These infants were all placed in the same town, with families oblivious to their "affliction" when they were first found. This organization has been documenting the lives of these people for the last 20 years. Influencing the experiment in different ways, keeping them apart to see if they would war over territory was one. Another was to see if the town would notice the presence of their mutations and take action. They wanted to see how a creature of myth would survive in the modern world. Little did they know, that their experiment was about to unravel.

So, as you might have already guessed, this is a werewolf rp.

First things first, let's keep the romance to fluff. I would rather avoid any heavy romance all together, as this is a story about revenge.

All of the characters know each other in some way. Whether it be friend, enemy, truce, temporary alliance, they all know each other. And there will be one character that somehow finds out about Chemical LW and the story will go from there. This is gonna be gritty, gory, real and dark. And awesome. So. Interested?
How much about the Alien universe do I need to know about in order to be a productive member of this rp?
Crap, I saw the interest check but didn't know there was an OOC. Is there still room? If so, I'm reserving this spot for a CS.

EDIT: Actually I just realized I know very little about the Alien universe. I haven't even seen Alien. So maybe this isn't the best rp for me.
Ares studied the operations map in his tent, occasionally consulting the orders for reference. His forces were about 500 yards from the suburbs, nestled between two small hills. Thousands of equations and scenarios ran through Ares head in the span of several seconds. He would rain explosives down on the trenches and then send the Assault division to clean it up. It would no doubt alert the enemy to their presence, but stealth was never this army's strong point anyway. He heard the sounds of gunfire further into the town and figured his peers had started the attack. His top lieutenant, a aging black man named Bud Koroasa, peeked into his tent. "They have started the assault, sir." he said. "I noticed." replied Ares in the smooth, almost business like voice that he had been made with. "Tell Sky to meet me on top of the east hill." he ordered, grabbing his plasma rifle and donning his Enclave hat. The camp was quiet, soldiers had been ordered to keep noise at a minimum until the attack. The tension was almost palpable. To an organic at least. Ares didn't notice anything except the anxious movements of soldiers. He marched up the east hill, getting lower as he neared the top. He stopped just before the crest of the hill, he was able to see the trenches. He scanned the trenches and saw a multitude of soldiers, they acted slightly on edge, having also heard the firefights in town.

Footsteps approached behind him, and the lithe female form of Sky settled down next to him. She was the leader of the Explosives division. "What's the plan?" she asked, observing the trenches herself. "I want missiles to hit here, here, and here." he said, showing her the marks he made on the map. "How many?" Ares paused for a moment. "As many as you think is necessary." he replied, handing her the map. "Effective immediately." he added, starting back down the hill with her. She nodded and went to go round up her men.

Ares approached Korasa, who was also the leader of the assault division. "After Sky hits those points, you take all of your troops in to clear out whoever is left and head into the suburbs, I'll rendezvous with you there." Korasa saluted, then rushed off.

Seven minutes later, Sky let loose the artillery and the battle had officially begun.

Yup, this was your RP. It came back to my mind a little while back, and I decided I really wanted to do it again. I made a couple edits here and there, but its roughly the same as you had itAlso, OP is updated with my own character for people who need references.Character Reviews:Musketman: Overall I like the character, but there are a few things I'd like to point out. The Darknut is the quintessential warrior race/caste. Even moreso than the Gerudo, the Darknuts are warriors, it is unlikely a Darknut will be anything other than a warrior. As for being in Hyrule, due to their size, strength, and natural martial prowess, Darknuts in Hyrule are closely monitored and are almost always part of the Hyrulian army, or lone wanderers. Darknuts in Death Valley on the other hand will live in villages composed solely of Darknuts or subservient minor races. If you really wanted your character to be a smith, it'd be more likely that he hailed from a Darknut village in Death Valley. Also, Darknuts are much, much larger than Hylians. Hylians are racist, but not stupid(mostly.) No sane Hylian would spit at a Darknut and expect to walk away in once piece

Aight, will edit.
