Current If I was ever in a death or glory situation, I'd want The Trooper by Iron Maiden play in the background.

He's dedicated to the cause, even if he knows that he was kidnapped against his and his family's will.

Think of the SWH as the Jedi Order, if that helps any.
Have you guys lost interest? Is this dead? I need some feedback people.

Where is still unknown, but it was in the Panhandle of Texas- the Great Plains. Um... Actually, I don't know anything as to hint at what life might be like. Idk anything about the organization or anything at all. I can't make a good backstory if our characters weren't somewhere before, or if we have no idea about the conditions and everything where they were while in the organization. How old was he, how did he get along with his peers, what missions were assigned to him prior. How did he handle his powers. Create bits and pieces of SWH as you go along. This organization is gonna be formed as we go, so go wild. (But not too wild)
> This looks very appealing. Question though, will u allow a little more leniance with the magics? As in...can I..i guess...create my own type of magic that doesn't necessarily fall within the 6 categories above? Or is it strictly just those? You can mix and match them and deviate away from them a little. But I want to keep it mostly in those areas.
Alright guys, go nuts.

In the year 1815, a group of adventurers and explorers found a a hidden city deep in the Amazon Jungle. They fought their way through a number of supernatural creatures, each more dangerous than the next. After several hours of conquest, they made it to the heart of the city. Two large crystals sat on pedestals in a large room with a domed roof. The leaders of the expedition, two brothers, grabbed the crystals. The brothers started to resonate with power. There was a flash and the brothers were on the ground. There comrades went to help them and asked what happened. One replied, "We have found the greatest power man will ever know." the other replied "We have to destroy these crystals, this is too much power for men to wield justly." The brothers launched into an argument and soon the city was quaking from the power of the battle. The brothers launched energy blasts and summoned earthquakes. Their comrades, seeing reason in them was lost, grabbed the crystals and wrapped them in cloth and fled the city. The brothers were crushed when the city collapsed around them. They may have died, but their argument didn't, as their comrades argued back in England what to do with the crystals. Some wanted to destroy them, others wanted to share them with the world. Either way, the crystals were used once more. Those who wanted to share them absorbed one of the crystals power and blasted their way out of the headquarters and fled for America. Those who wanted to destroy them soon followed, knowing that they would have to use the crystals to defeat their former allies. Soon, they formed groups to combat their enemies. Those who wanted to share the crystal called themselves The Society of Wizards for Humanity or SWH. Those who wanted to destroy the crystals called themselves the Magic Extermination Force or MEF. They have been fighting each other for 200 years in secret, getting manpower by stealing infants and toddlers or adopting from orphanages. They would be exposed to the crystal and receive magical capability. No one has known about these factions or this war. Until now. You are part of the SWH. You have been all your life. And due to your skill or potential, you have been chosen to participate in a very important mission. Assassinate the Vice President of the Magic Extermination Force, Rick Jaros. His death will launch this war into full effect and reveal it to the public. The SWH is counting on you. **Branches of Magic** Elemental- Elemental magic manipulates natural phenomena such as Fire, Lightning, Ice, Earth, Water, etc. Master Elemental Wizards can summon tsunamis and conjure up blizzards. Elemental Wizards tend to reflect their preferred magic type. Vitalism- Also known as the healing branch, Vitalism can seal wounds and alleviate sickness. Skilled vitalism wizards can use it for defensive and offensive purposes. Vitalism Wizards tend to be protective or nurturing. Armas- This branch allows the user to summon weapons and armor to aid them in battle. Anything from knives to rocket launchers. However, the more powerful the weapon, the more energy required. Armas Wizards tend to be reckless and brave. Shade- Shade magic is summoning creatures from The Abyss known as Shades. This is a particularly tricky magic, because Shades are unruly creatures and those who can't control them are often destroyed by them. Those who can control Shades though, are known as Shade Masters. Shade Masters tend to be commanding and cold. Shadow- Shadow magic is the ability to manipulate shadows and control them. This branch of magic is the most feared because Shadow Mages are usually brutal and precise, making them feared on both sides. Blood- Blood Magic is the manipulation of the Human body. This is the most feared and hated type of magic, because there is very little defense against it. Blood Wizards are usually exiled, imprisoned, or executed. Blood Wizards are unpredictable, one can be a psycho while another can be a gentlemen. **Rules ** 1. Don't be a punk (i.e. Have some common sense) 2. No OP characters 3. The summer sun blazed over Phoenix, Arizona on a blissful Saturday morning. The Desert Flower Plaza was bustling with activity, each shop filled with people looking to spend a little on the weekend. The plaza itself was a hive of activity, cars and people moving from place to place, taking advantage of the beautiful weather and the lowered prices. A cafe by the name of "Cactus" housed a very important man, a man that was about to meet his end. Merlin leaned against the palm tree nonchalantly, eyes locked on the man. He knew how dangerous he was and he knew that the coming battle would tear this place apart. He looked toward a young man tending a flower bed, seemingly a worker for the Plaza owners. The young man caught his eye and nodded, he was ready. He looked to his left and saw a man sitting on a bike, Merlin sent a pulse to his mind, alerting him of what was to come. He didn't bother looking for the girl. He knew he wouldn't find her The plan was for him to send a strong shock into the target's brain, stunning him. Then the two elemental wizards would throw all that they had at him, while the girl came out of nowhere with a power attack. Of course Merlin knew that wouldn't be enough and many civilians would likely be killed. But they were expendable. Merlin concentrated on the target, channeling massive amounts of energy. He threw a psychic pulse at him, he immediately saw him convulse and slam his head on the window, he sent out a psychic signal to the other to attack. It had begun.
