Current If I was ever in a death or glory situation, I'd want The Trooper by Iron Maiden play in the background.

Yay, people, I'll get an OOC up soon and hopefully we'll get some more players by then!
Al being Hunter's mentor, I only saw it fitting that Al had Hunter learn Japanese for a Japanese academy.
Hunter watched the proceedings with some amusement. Well the amusement came after she responded to the blonde haired young man, insulting English in the process. Well, good thing Al made him learn Japanese before he came. Then the apparent ninja threw an orange at her, which she quickly sliced up, throwing the rest back to him. This was one strange girl. But he didn't have time to watch them, he needed to get to the first year dorms. He figured asking her in Japanese was the best approach, though she might try to fight him anyway. Only one way to find out. He unsheathed an arrow from it's quiver and nocked it, approaching her from behind and stopping at a safe distance, or at least out of range of her blade. His muscles were tense and his bow slightly drawn as he asked in bad but understandable Japanese. HIs hood shrouded his face as he spoke, only his lips visible.

"Nē, watashi wa saisho no toshi no ryō e no shiji o hitsuyō to shite imasu."
Hey, I need directions to the first year dorms.

He wondered if she understood that or would just simply attack him. Either way, Hunter hoped she would make her decision quickly. He didn't pay much mind to the ninja, who seemed less a threat than she did right now.

When Machine and Man Combine....

In the year 2024, the Prime Minister of Japan's son was involved in a fatal accident. His body mangled and his life fading, the Prime Minister turned to the best and brightest of Japan's scientists to save his son's life in anyway possible. The result was installing mechanical parts where tissue failed. In a 14 hour operation, the son of the Prime Minister became a scientific epiphany. A combination of man and machine, the first one of his kind.

He was christened Saibo or Cyborg.

The Prime Minister was overjoyed at his son's miraculous recovery and wasn't at all phased by his new appearance. But something did phase him. His son was colder, more detached, less creative and more logical. In the following year, his son made a lot of changes to his lifestyle. He dropped out of art school and went to college to become an officer in the military. He gave up his pacifist beliefs and took up various martial arts. He was less of a young artist and more of a solider. The Prime Minister was outraged at this sudden discrepancy in his daily life and he confronted the scientists. They explained that the son's frontal lobe was damaged and the only way to save his memories was to repair it with metal. The result was that his son remembered who he was, but his son was a different person altogether.

This son's name is Akio Abe, the first Saibo. In the following years Abe rose through the ranks of the Japanese military, becoming a high-ranking officer at the young age of 28. He began a project to save the lives of lost causes medical cases, requesting that they serve the Japanese government for a period of time, usually a minimum of 10 years. He began to create and train a team of Saibos to combat Japan's enemies under the radar. They would be called the Saibo Strike Force (SSF). These individuals would come from anywhere in japan and anyone that Commander Abe deemed fit would serve in the strike force. But how many will be saved by the metal? Only time will tell....

Metal is Might

There are physical and sometimes mental perks to being transformed into a Saibo. Increased strength, speed, stamina, reaction time, more resistant to damage, etc. But there are also bonus upgrades a Saibo can earn with service. For example, upon completion of BST (Basic Saibo Training) A Saibo will be rewarded with a Grade D Upgrade, say Hidden blade in the right arm. A retractable 3 foot blade is installed into the saibo's arm for an advantage in hand to hand combat. The higher ranking a Saibo, the more advanced upgrades they receive.

Saibo Qualification.

Being classified as a Saibo is different than merely having a bionic appendage. A Saibo must rely on their bionic enhancements to live or have two or more mechanical attachments in their major organs or appendages. In other words, they cannot live without their bionic enhancements. They also must fit the age range specified by Commander Abe, 17-55, and must be good enough physical shape to under go BST, only then will they be classified as a Saibo.

I say despite the fact that my avatar is from an anime that literally just doesn't have a dub.

Lol.
Lol, all Hunter has done in this rp so far is watch people.
Watching the girls fight, the Head Director's words rang in his head. Dorm rooms and roommates. He looked around the hallway, spotting a third year dorm sign on the wall. Cute or not, Thorn here was not his objective. He un-nocked his arrow and returned it to his quiver. He glanced at the girls and took off in the opposite direction. He watched out for signs as he raced through the halls. He saw signs pointing to restrooms and bedrooms and Second year dorms, but no first year.

Maybe they're in numerical order.

Hunter hooked around and raced down the hallway leading into the Second year dorms. He slowed to a trot at an intersection and glued himself to the wall. He could hear voices coming from a specific hallway. His ears picked up a rather goofy sounding 'Howdy!' Hunter frowned and made his way towards the voices, he could hear an Asian accent, more refined than Chinese. He suspected Korean or Japanese. And another quieter voice, Asian as well. He stopped at a corner and peeked around. A blonde teenager, older than him but definitely still young and a young woman. A Dangerous looking young woman. Hunter knew she could mean trouble. But the blonde one was being extremely friendly and didn't appear to be armed.

The woman had the air of experience around her, from her stance to her calm disposition. Greenhorns are usually nervous or jittery before a fight and she was neither. The blonde didn't seem to realize she had a weapon at all and Hunter wouldn't be surprised of he was cut down immediately. He knew he had to move, but he had a nasty feeling that the first year dorms would be through her. And he didn't like that idea at all.
