Johnny Sniper
Truthfully? There’s no shot hotter than Johnny Sniper.
Standing 5’10” tall and weighing in at none of your damn business (how he asks to be billed)| New to the Business, First year.
|Birth Name |» Jonathan Crispin
|Hails From | » Stockport, Greater Manchester, United Kingdom
» February 8th, 1994 (22)
|Fighting Style |» “Dirty” is the first and last word here. Johnny clearly has at least some developing talent, and often uses it to ground and slow the bout - usually to the frustration of both his opponent and the crowd. He frequently talks trash in the middle of his bouts, to infuriate his opponents and force them into mistakes. And of course, when the limits of his talent start to show, he’s not above raking the eyes or going for a low blow as soon as the referee isn’t looking...
In other words, he is Basic Heel 101 and hasn’t really advanced past that yet.
|Signature Moves |» Torpedo Dropkick (Spinning missile dropkick, often botched)
» Balls to the Wall (Baseball slide, to an opponent seated in the corner)
» STO against an object (Turnbuckle, ropes, barricade, steps, etc.)
|Finisher |» STKO (Inverted fireman’s carry cutter)
» [sick name pending] (Camel clutch STF)
|Theme |»
Whispers in the Dark (Instrumental) - Skillet (cut in at 0:20)
|Gimmick |» Johnny Sniper startling resemblance to the man who plays him - he’s loud, he’s brash, he won’t take a second’s wait to tell you he’s the greatest thing you’ve ever seen in the ring and is endlessly hesitant to actually back it up. He’s often quick to jump on an opponent’s shortcomings and attempt a psychological game with them - albeit usually unsuccessfully.
He brings with him a pair of sunglasses that form a lot of his signature gestures - particularly he will don them when he’s lining up for the Torpedo Dropkick. He treats these sunglasses with a good deal of respect and expects others to do so as well.
|Face or Heel |» Heel, but mostly ego-related. Could be swung.
|Backstage Rep |» Crispin is the very definition of a disrespectful rookie, convinced to the rafters he’s one of the best talents in the world despite clearly hiding his limited skillset behind basic heel tactics. He’s grating and self-aggrandising at every opportunity and although he won’t go so far as to put someone else’s work down, he’s always sure that he can do better and isn’t hesitant to tell you. Crispin is also known for a serious lack of effort in training further than his basic level, frustratingly not putting his natural talent to any good use.
|Other |» FC: Gaz Beadle, of Geordie Shore (no jesus I don’t watch that show. I just figured googling it would produce punchable faces and fast)
