Should I change my last name from Harvey to something else? I just realized having a Harvey and a Havey might get confusing quick.
"What the FUCK happened out there?"

Tyrone had no answer for the steely eyed sergeant staring him down. He had failed; spectacularly. The verbal abuse he was taking began to turn into monotonous background noise as he realized what this would mean. He would lose everything; his place in the corps, his chance to be something, but most of all, his family when they found out what he had done.

The shouting was distant now as he was suddenly underwater, trying to claw toward the surface as his lungs begged him to take in a breath. A light. The surface was getting closer, and so was the shouting.

A few more seconds and you're there

Just as his body gave in, he fell forward, out of a cryo chamber. The garbled shouting morphed into reality and became crystal clear.

"Wakey-wakey ladies, Get your sorry asses up before I resort to throwin' you dickheads out the airlock."

Dreams in cryo are the absolute worst. Tyrone always felt anxious, but there was something about being frozen that made his mind go to dark places. He took in a few breaths, checking the function of all of his limbs before smirking. He was ready. After so many years of waiting for this day, Tyrone would finally show that he was a capable soldier, an elite specimen who was a cut above -Oh shit

His train of thought was interrupted as his stomach failed him. He looked around for reassurance that he wasn't the only one who wasn't reacting well, finding it in the other FNG's around him. His self pity was cut short by the thought of being forcibly thrown from an airlock by a man he knew might actually do it; he ran to suit up. Having his armor put on hurt for sure, but he had felt worse, and didn't wince or flinch like some of the other young recruits. He stepped out and eyed the higher-end equipment of his superiors.

It fucking sucks to be a private

Knowing he was already running late after his episode and more importantly that walking is frowned upon in his line of work, Tyrone broke into a light jog toward the armory.
Sorry for taking so long after the interest check, I was having some trouble thinking of what character I'd want to play

Name: Tyrone Harvey
Age: 19
Gender: Male
Appearance:

Position: Marines, Private
Personality:
-Nervous if things don't go according to plan
-Obedient, never questions authority
-Friendly and easy to get along with if you can catch him while he's calm
-No ego whatsoever, willing to adapt and be a cog in the machine
-Kind of dumb when not given orders, does what he's told and does not improvise much

Notable Skills, Combat or otherwise:
-He's a very good shot, excelled in marksman training
-One of the best physical specimens coming out of basic training
-Never thinks twice about an order, would charge to his death for the mission

History:
"I'd rather you come back dead than dishonored, I hope you feel the same."

That was the last thing his loving father told him before he was sent off to basic training. Tyrone came from a military family, and his house was certainly run like it. He was always pushed to be in peak physical condition, and was taught how to handle a firearm before high school. Orders in the Harvey household were always answered with a sharp "yes sir". Tyrone never got time to explore much else besides his grueling daily routine, and as a result, he never really found himself. A young interest in poetry was shut down by his father tearing all of his work up and calling him a woman. His 2 brothers were given the same treatment, and while one is younger, his older brother, Marcus, has excelled in his time in the marines, rising through the ranks through a combination of skill and nepotism. As a result of his upbringing, there was little thrown at him in basic that he couldn't handle. Behind the scenes Tyrone would be an utter wreck after even the slightest hint of failure; he dreads the thought of not living up to his father's or brother's legacy, and tarnishing the Harvey name. All he wants is to make them proud of him. When he found out his first deployment would be aboard a starship, he knew that he would finally get his chance to really begin climbing the ranks.

So people might play the leaders of different shadow guilds who are in competition with eachother (until the common enemy shows up)? Anyway, Im interested.
cool, consider me interested
I'm the middle of playing through the first bioshock right now but I like the idea and the world, never played any of the others; would I have enough background for this one?
If this is still open I'd be down for it!
I'd be interested
