We could also go with some kind of "color-coded for your convenience" setup, where the Ancient Cards are a different color from normal ones. Like "Black Cards" or something. Much sp00ky, very plot significant. XD

Suppose you have a point. But wouldn't that be confusing. Because I was using the word World of End cards as the name for the ancient cards that don't exist in the modern game.

So then what do I call those cards? Soul Cards? Seal Cards?

I am going to edit the board real quick. Because your Leader's Evolutions won't count towards your deck number. So right now Angel's deck is sitting at 14 cards. I need to put a Leader section or maybe the Evolution happens automatically, IDK. Suggestions.

Also any suggestions about what to call the Card Game in the Modern World?

So I have pretty much decided on a Heaven Deck, with a general theme of anything divine and holy, but can contain a few dark cards like dark magic or corruption, basically not so holy and divine, since it's the character himself (being good, but practical, somewhat flawed, and is not afraid of being cruel or ruthless)

You and Angel may have some universal cards considering his deck is a Heaven and Hell themed deck. Talking about Angel's deck I have his Leader Evolution complete.

Rites and Sacrifice

Level 0 Leader

The king's crown found in a pool of blood. The Kingdom looks to the young son for direction. What path will he take? Paladin or Crusader?

Determination - When this card is flipped up, it power temporarily becomes 1.

Ability - Protection; if you have no other units on your side of the field this card cannot be destroyed.

Drawback - This card cannot evolve unless you have an angel and demon on either side of this card.

Level 1 Evolution

A burden to bear. A kingdom to protect. They look to him and what direction he will take.

Ability - Declare a Utility Slot or Unit Slot, for the next two turns that cannot be used.

Agitator - If this card is targeted by an ability of a card of the same equal power or lesser negate it. If it is targeted by an ability of a card of a higher power immediately resolve it's drawback.

Drawback - Burdened. This card can only Evolve in the next turn if it was triggered by another cards ability or negates their ability. You may not evolve this card after in your next evolve phase.

Level 3 Evolution

A young prince stood in the rain. To lay witness firsthand what hellfire can do to an army. He had no power to protect them. There before him lie an answer in destruction.

Ability - If this card is targeted by an ability of equal or lesser power you may play a spell immediately from your hand in response.

Agitator - If this card is targeted by an ability of a higher power card destroy this card immediately.

Drawback - Burdened. This card cannot be Evolved in your Evolve Phase. If this card is destroyed and sent the grave immediately Evolve this card. You cannot Evolve that card in your next Evolve Phase.

Level 5 Evolution

It couldn't be the prince dead? What would the kingdom do without a successor? Who to look towards? As hell opened up brimstone and fire.

Ability - When this card is targeted by an ability banish the target for the next two turns.

Agitator - When this card is targeted by an ability of higher power banish this card for the next two turns.

Drawback - Burdened. This card not be Evolved in your Evolve Phase. When this card banishes another card or is banished Evolve this card when that card returns. This card cannot be Evolved in your Evolve Phase after.

Level 9 Evolution

It couldn't be? He was back from the dead. That he hadn't died and here he was to either defend his Kingdom. Or annihilate it?

Ability - If targeted by an ability by a card of lesser power negate the ability and destroy that unit.

Ability - When summoned choose either either two Unit slots or two Utility slots. If your opponent uses those slots in their next round banish those cards for the next two turns. The slots are usable after those cards have been banished.

Agitator - Protection. If targeted by an ability of a card of higher power than this card it gains temporary protection for one turn. Ability can only be used once per duel.

Drawback - Burdened. Cannot Evolve without the Crown of Virtue or Crown of Corruption. If either Crimson King or [name pending] is removed from the game or was in play in the current duel this card cannot be Evolved with another Crown card.

Level 10 Crimson King

He took the demon's offer. A King he might be. But not a King of the People.

Crimson King [might come up with something better]

Ability - When this card is summoned, you may resurrect up to 3 different Utility Cards from your grave and immediately resolve them. They are then banished.

Ability - When this card is targeted by an ability of lesser power this card is protected. And the card is banished.

Ability - When this card is targeted by an ability of equal power this card can negate one of those abilities.

Agitator - When this card is destroyed, destroy all cards of lesser power than this card.

Drawback - This card cannot enter the grave it is banished for the rest of the game when it is destroyed. And cannot be resurrected.

Level 10 Evolution

He is the people's hero. He wears a Crown of Virtue and drives back the demons that had spawned. He is the people's king a true paladin of virtue.

Ability - Upon Evolution if there are Units slots of lesser power than this card, immediately summon up to 2 different Angels from your grave and upgrade their power to match this card.

Ability - If this card is targeted by an ability of a card of less power than banish this card for the next turn and return it immediately next turn.

Ability - If this card is targeted by an ability of a card of equal power you may return this card from the graveyard back to the field, once per duel.

Agitator - When this card is destroyed you may chose up to 2 utility cards in your grave and immediately resolve them. They are then banished for the rest of the game.

Drawback - If this card is resurrected from the grave it looses all of its abilities and is demoted by one level of power to the next level of power.

World of End - Cards

Cards that do not exist in any print. There is only one card in existence and they are the ancient leaders of the Warrior’s of World End deck. These Leaders have special components and were sealed away a long time ago to be forgotten.

Mechanics -

World of End cards do not have any power. Instead they can be overlaid any other current leader you have as the highest unit of power above that leader. So if you played a Level 6 Leader and overlaid your World of End card that card becomes level 7.

World of End cards do not Evolve. Instead they gain a new power level every Evolve Phase, but when in play you skip your Evolve Phase.

World of End cards have unique abilities that seem to influence the real world in a certain way. Which will be played with the Virtue or Corruption Mechanic.

World of End cards do not have to fit your current decks theme. Considering the fact you mysteriously get them one day and didn’t know you were going to get them. Instead the World of End cards define the type of individual your Warrior of End was in the past and what kind of theme they may have used at some point.

Virtue or Corruption Mechanic -

Essentially this is the tool that will define your World of End ability. And it will be an ability that is defined by the course of your actions over time. All World of End cards have an Ability and a Secondary Virtue or Corruption ability.

Warriors of End

The Warriors of End were Guardians who fought across the time of history for powerful leaders and factions even nations. They used an ancient mechanic of the game now played for fun across the world.

Story goes the most powerful Warriors of End's souls were sealed into the cards you have now received. And once you activate them their soul now lives inside you. You the host of their thoughts.

This is my fault. You guys will have traditional Leaders. And then get a bonus optional leader which will be a World End card. Because the World End cards are uber special and do something weird. Please gimme a second as I work on Angel's deck to give an example with his deck on decks. And then I will write down the World of End mechanics. The World of End cards are the leaders for your warriors.

And I have to give you base lore template for your Warriors of World End and a character sheet.
