Well, I'm working on my navy at the moment as well. Currently all I have down is a general description of what features Ch'ak'ii ships tend to have as well as the different types of drones the Grand Fleet uses. I wish I was more knowledgeable about this kind of stuff so I could get into the specifics of number of weapons and stuff like that, but it doesn't look like I'm the only one going with something more general so I don't think it's a problem.
@Hael

I have calmed down now.

So, everyone, I would like to have your opinions on my newest post detailing the ending of the rebellion! I don't have a lot of time to make these kinds of posts so please excuse the rushed feeling if it has one!

I accidentally read your leader's name as "Empress Shrek" and now she will forever look like that in my mind. But overall, it was nice. Pretty pathetic that it took hours to kill such a small force of rebels.
-My nation almost always uses disease-based weapons on planetary attacks, which your nation would be immune to. That is unbalanced.

I have a question about this. They're not some kind of magical diseases that are somehow able to infect any aliens, are they? I mean, do you use cocktails of different diseases that specifically target certain races or even diseases that are specifically engineered to infect multiple specific hosts? Because I don't think that, for example, any of your diseases would likely be able to infect a species you haven't had any prior contact with (or whom you haven't had the chance to study the biology of) simply because pathogens don't really often cross species boundaries like that.
@TheSovereignGrave Ah, that's fine in that case :) Thought you'd want to be closer.

It's actually not a particularly big deal to me, if I'm going to be completely serious. I was only asking if anyone was near me so if they were we could possibly work out some collaborative history. I didn't actually need anyone near me.
@TheSovereignGrave Regarding location, if you want to, why not move your system close to the main powers? Or perhaps even "Wild Space"

That's our little designated Space Africa/Wild West.

Well, to be perfectly honest I personally wouldn't object to my neck of the woods being relatively unexplored with there only having been sporadic/secondhand contact and rumours of Ch'ak among everyone else. Or something similar along those lines.

I call mine things like The Mothership, Holy-class, Purity, Incarnate-class, The Serpent King, Sulkive ("death bug"), and so on.

I have no shame!

Fair enough. I like my apostrophe-laden names, though. Well, mostly apostrophe-laden. It's really only the T'kai language that's like that, but the T'kai make up like 80% of my nation. :D Seriously, you wanna know the full name of Ch'ak's First Governor? Cha'ki'la is'Ku'nai'rak es'Ken'ka'zu.

Oh the apostrophes aren't just for show; they're actually a part of the proper pronunciation. They represent this: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Glottal_stop

You're an amazing writer, based off of what I've seen and the creeping I've done (don't judge me- us mild Asperger's are just naturally creepy folk ), so I can't wait to see what you come up with!

Fair enough, some of us can be creepy. Though I'm far less likely to admit when I've done something like that.

I've honestly been trying to come up with a system of warship classification that isn't the typical "frigate, destroyer, cruiser, battleship, carrier" type of affair, but I've kind of been drawing a blank. Not a big deal; I can just not give them a designation; just call them Ok'tal or Vel'ur or something similarly alien without any "-class X" or the like.
I've seen him in other RPs, but if he really wants to leave than that's his choice. :'(

Though, I am somewhat disappointed to lose the mandatory "machine hive-mind" race that all science-fiction must have at some point

Well it's a pity I started this RP before I had my idea for a civilization of sentient alien warships.

And on a more important note. I'll probably just make my ship-list without pictures. So that should be up tomorrow. And once that's done, all I'll need is the history and explorer.
By the way, everyone, rush99999 has officially withdrawn from the RP. We'll have to do without the miners from another galaxy.

Aw, well that sucks. Why'd he withdraw?
I do hope Short's just been a bit busy, and hasn't like disappeared or anything. We're kinda in another RP at the moment, and that one's already slow enough.

Oh, and for real. Is there anyone who's planning on being in the southwest of the map? I've been putting off writing my history section in case anybody was and wanted to do any sort of collaborative history.
