@WindsOfFatehopefully he'll see it happening and move the hot gases around one of the robots first. If not, well Corona will be able to somewhat control the explosion as it will be a plasma.
@hagrodenjust for reference, metallic hydrogen releases 2.6x the energy when heated (it recombines as H2 instead of just H), as hydrogen and oxygen burning. One of the reasons why it so hard to make metallic hydrogen is the fact that you need to put in that much energy to form it. It also means that it will explode if heated too much. Not sure if your character would know this, or if you'll want to change it to freezing steam (supercooled helium meets it to form ice crystals) or something similar.
Milo was created to destroy. While he maintains the same level of chaotic aptitude in combat, he does refrain from killing when possible. In the midst of a battle however, it is difficult to always render opponents unconscious without lethal means.
Identity Secret
Character Personality Milo is a young man with many thoughts, his mind traveling in circles more often than not. One could blame it on his engineered life but he tends to overthink things often and can at times be forgetful, trying to keep track of too many things at once. Despite his appearance showing an expression of boredom or indifference, once you get to know Milo you'll see a sarcastic, lighthearted and fun-loving individual who doesn't appear to take life too seriously. He is indeed categorized as one of the quieter types of people, still getting used to his new position as a free man.
He can be a bit all over the place, both physically and mentally. Milo wouldn't exactly be considered polite or respectful, but rather appears to act the same towards everyone. Having been locked up throughout his life has left the artificial being rather socially crippled which quite seriously effects his social situations. Milo is blunt to a fault and doesn't sugarcoat anything. He likes to joke around and remains honest most of the time because he doesn't see a reason to hide the truth unless it's absolutely necessary.
Despite acting like a brat at times, those who know Milo know that he stops at nothing for those he considers his comrades. No man left behind is a motto he runs with. He's supposed to be there for others at all times and that is a lesson he has learned throughout the missions he has participated in. If for nothing else, to raise the effectiveness of the team through positive relations. It is however noteworthy to take into consideration, that Milo's presence in the Sentinel Services was as a weapon, nothing more. At the very least, that's how his comrades viewed him.
Milo has displayed impressive patience and often finds something to do while waiting for others and though he is laid back to a fault, Milo has been noted to be a neat freak and a perfectionist. Everything always needs to be in its place and Milo is incredibly strict when it comes to being on time, at least concerning himself. Oddly enough, he appears satisfied as long he has lived up to his own expectations, others don't seem to matter as much when it comes to time management.
Appearance Milo stands at a meager five and a half feet, weighing ninety pounds, something considered quite a disadvantage in brawn and strength. He doesn't appear to possess many visible muscles either, his limbs rather thin and slender. With a scrawny frame, Milo would clearly be labeled as harmless and unable to fight, a set of ribs easily visible beneath his skin. One can draw the obvious conclusion that the artificial soldier isn't fit for melee endeavors, however he'd gladly prove you otherwise. A weak appearance puts your opponent off guard, something that was taken into consideration upon his creation.
The thick black hair atop his head falls down to the base of his neck along with bangs covering his eyes unless kept out of the way with either a bandana, headband or toboggan. A pair of curious brown eyes are constantly kept on the lookout, as if waiting for an impending ambush. In truth, Milo simply prefers to keep his surroundings in check. Needless to say, he hates surprises as long as he's not the one giving them. An expression of indifference or boredom are common sights upon this boy, appearing less than amused but not necessarily dissatisfied.
While lacking combat scars, something his powers would not allow him to retain, several puncture wounds from the pointy end of needles can be found on various parts of his body. It is safe to assume that they found home on his frame before his mutation came to fruition. A pair of black cargo pants reach down to his ankles where they are slightly folded up and a black hoodie often find home atop his torso. Due to his smaller size, Milo often wears over sized shirts but he has gotten used to the nuisance. His hands always find home in a pair of fingerless leather gloves which allows for a better grip and would be considered stylish by his standards.
Indeed, while adept in both combat and acrobatic maneuvers, Milo often has to rely on finesse and grace in fights. Martial arts is a skill he is incredibly familiar with but it's not magic. He will have difficulties overpowering largely muscled opponents with fists alone and thus prefers to use bladed weaponry in lieu of unarmed combat.
Lacking in imagination, Milo feels most at home in black clothing as well as black canvas shoes. He never did consider himself fashionable in any way. Milo is often, as was the purpose of his design, considered quite attractive by his surroundings. The olive tint to his skin would easily dot his ethnic home somewhere in the middle east and his thick hair hugs his face quite nicely. It is uncommon to see Milo without some kind of music attached to his person. A pair of headphones appear on his head more often than not and it's safe to say that his thoughts wander freely, leaving him less than aware of his surroundings at times.
Equipment, and Weapon
To compare with the superpowered threats he was put up against, Milo was armed with an HF sword, which offers an extreme level of cutting power. His blade can, when fully activated, cut through steel with ease. However, the sword can only manage such high frequency vibrations in short bursts, where it has to recharge before further use.
We'll start at the beginning. As I said, I was never actually born. I was created. What was the purpose of that? I wish I could say it was because someone really wanted a son but that wasn't the case. At this point I am sure you can guess my purpose, it was to be a weapon like many biological weapons before me. Does the Weapons X program ring a bell? I'm not an android or a cyborg, I'm completely organic but I guess you could call it bionic, right?
The mold for my appearance came from my creator's late son. That's a bit morbid, if you ask me. She apparently couldn't say goodbye. He died at twenty, from what I could gather. Creating me wasn't exactly a healthy way of coping but there were other reasons for writing my name on a drawing board. You've seen the typical heroes and villains out there, right? Some of them are huge brutes, some of them are heroic and muscular. Some of them are magical and command the powers of mysticism, and then there's me. I was designed on a cellular level to look inconspicuous. My body's slim to an almost scrawny level without any muscles visible on my skin. My eyes are made to be big, innocent and my voice hints at a lack of strength behind every word. It's the perfect assassin, wouldn't you say? A person who people would lower their guard around, a person no one would look at, twice.
Designed to look small, fragile and innocent but with the capabilities of a professional martial artist and none of my apparent restrictions, they cooked up a weapon they were satisfied with. Of course, this mold was just the beginning. The mutation they gave me was an insurance of sorts, a means of removing my expiration date. Of course, it also keeps me alive and completely removes any kind of maintenance. So, technically they gave me the mutation of immortality, in a way. True immortality is impossible to come across from what I know, but I guess I'm pretty close. You'd think that they'd give this mutation to everyone, but it's not really that simple. Your body has to react positively to the treatment, otherwise it straight up kills you. They had to create a bionic person specifically for this mutation to actually work. It's not a cheap process, and it's why there's only one of me.
They did give me one addition on top of my mutation, however. I am a lot more agile and reflexive than what's considered normal. Some people might call it supernatural. It's a combination of my biology and my training which bears fruit, I guess.
Alright, that's about enough of the technical information, isn't it? There's probably a lot more to tell about the cellular configuration of my biological structures and whatnot but honestly, I don't really know what to tell you. All I know is what I've gathered and I'm not exactly a scientist. I wouldn't understand half the things written about me. I'll tell you about my experiences instead, that's what you want to hear about.
I was always treated rather well by Dr. Hemsworth. She was the one put in charge of me. When they finally let me out of the glass confines I had been seeing the world through, Dr. Hemsworth was the one who took care of me. She taught me all manner of things, really. Combat knowledge was a mixture of artificial downloads placed in my brain during creation and physical exercise which took place in the same laboratory, and it took quite a while before I was sent on my first mission. I still remember it quite clearly. I had been designed to kill, and my target was a certain Robin Clay. He was a man with many enemies, mainly because he was a drug lord.
I think this ties into explaining exactly who it was that created me. They're not around anymore, but it was an underground organisation working for the Sentinel Services. This was kept under wraps from even most of the SS. Create artificial mutants, to kill mutants? That wouldn't fly, with most. Sentinel Services called this branch Void.
Between missions, Dr. Hemsworth treated me much like a mother would treat her son. She was really good to me and never saw me as a weapon, but rather as her responsibility. Though, all good things come to an end, don't they? The reason for my existence was a simple one. Get a target, kill it, move on. Though, Void was eventually destroyed, by the X-Men.
Oh, what did M110 stand for? Male one hundred and ten. I was their one hundred and tenth attempt at this. Now, I'm free. Now, I'll make sure to repay humans for the countless mutant deaths I was set upon."
Combat Type Acrobatic Martial Artist.
Milo uses grace and dexterous martial combat. He is excellent at bladed combat, and unarmed prowess, though is more than capable with other forms of melee weaponry. However, firearms and other ranged approaches are far from his expertise.
Powers
Rapid Regeneration
The user can rapidly regenerate. In other words, they recreate lost or damaged tissues, organs and limbs, sometimes slowing, or even stopping, aging. The rate and amount of healing varies widely, some can regrow missing limbs, others must put the limb back in place for rapid regeneration. They are generally in very good physical shape as their bodies are constantly reverting to a healthy state, granting them nigh-inexhaustible stamina and vitality. - Superpower Wiki
Strengths Due to Milo's mutation, his ageing has stopped since his cells die and regenerate in equilibrium.
As the name suggests, this ability allows for near instant regeneration of wounds Milo sustains, be it flesh wounds, burns or severed limbs.
This mutation prevents Milo from getting sick and denies him the need to feed or drink as his body constantly maintains itself which effectively removes the feelings of hunger and thirst.
Weaknesses The more Milo regenerates, the more fatigued he becomes. Naturally, the graver the wound the more energy it will drain to regenerate. Too much use of this power will cause Milo to faint, leaving him incredibly vulnerable.
Cutting the nape in Milo's neck will instantly kill him. The nape of his neck is the nexus and center of his regenerative abilities.
Though agelessness is a strength in many ways, it has both a social and psychological effect on Milo which leads to negative outcomes. Due to his creation, lives with many regrets which in a way cannot be erased by time's passing. On top of that, the knowledge of constantly outliving his friends, seeing them grow and develop in the process while he is stuck in time is a hard truth to accept.
Given the fact that Milo does not need to eat, he has neglected eating all together with the exception of downing sodas. Due to this, swallowing solid food would actually hurt him as his body has grown unused to the procedure.
Finally, drowning will also kill Milo, due to cutting off oxygen to his brain.
Weaknesses Technology Milo was never designed to handle technical issues and as such lacks knowledge and skill in the feat.
Firearms Being too loud for his line of work, no amount of time was put into firearm training.
Leadership While able to take orders well enough, Milo does not have the mindset to be a leader.
Brute Force Focusing entirely on finesse and grace, Milo's design flaw leaves him with less brute force than many other physical combatants.
Computers Much like Technology, Milo hasn't had much experience with computers.
Social Skills As would be expected from someone with Milo's background, the boy seriously lacks in social charisma and skill. Even though his appearance suggests a social aspect, it is clear that his persuasive skills lie entirely in physical looks.
Skills Martial Combat Blades and hand to hand combat is Milo's expertise.
Stealth Milo was, after all, designed to be an assassin.
Athletics and Acrobatics Needless to say, Milo was created to be a flowing wind on the battlefield.
Extras Milo is, contrary to belief, really lazy and can be found napping in weird areas. Like a cat.
He loves music and always has a pair of headphones on, and his favorite artist is Madonna...and Jpop.
@Kaesus"Huh," said Corona, cross-referencing the name on the door and the prison manifest he realized why the room had an airlock which lead through a type of thermos setup, with the cell on the inside and the outer wall on the outside. Air and water was piped in and food was sent in through the airlock. Apparently they wanted to keep something sealed away that could fit through small spaces. Or at least they thought he could.
He stepped into the airlock, sealed the door, and, after it pressurized, opened the inner door. Inside he saw a man in the prisoner uniform, complete with anti-mutant collar that would send electricity thorough his nervous system should he try to use his powers. "Hello, I'm Corona." he said. "My team is here to liberate this prison. So, Morphling, would you like to leave?"
Corona's phone rang. A few minutes later he hung up and ran over to Heka. "We need to leave right now. SS is only almost here." He took a step back so it wouldn't deafen Heka and activated his speaker collar. "Excuse me, everyone, but the SS is only two miles away. Running is no longer an option. We'll evacuate everyone, and when we get to our base we'll arrange for you to go to go to one of the mutant settlements in Canada or Mexico if you don't want to join us." He quickly went to anyone from the isolation cells that he could see and asked for their help. If the SS got here before everyone was through, they would need to hold them off, and he wasn't sure his group could handle an Evac and a fight.
About a minute later people were still running through a butterfly lined portal as a ten meter tall robot (left) landed just outside the prison fence and fired a plasma beam at it. Two five meter tall robots (right) landed on the opposite side and began firing ceramic bullets at the terrorists. Corona noticed a personnel carrier pulling up as that 10 meter one fired a plasma beam, forcing him to jump in front of it to keep it from hitting anyone else. Thankfully, his forcefield plus abilities were able to handle it.
