Personality: Drizella is a spoiled, rotten brat, and that's putting it nicely. Her haughty attitude tends to be very off putting for most people, but, in public, she hides it well. She knows when to put on a show, especially if she's trying to woo a prince! However, it's often her temper that gets her into trouble, because, really, it doesn't take much to set her off. She's also greedy and materialistic, and she must have the finest of everything; anything less just won't do. Drizella is also very jealous. If she feels someone else is better off than her, she gets upset and will go crying to her mother. She is very childish in that sense, because even if she doesn't like something, someone else having it makes her angry. Her one joy in life is singing, but unfortunately for her, and all those around her, her singing voice is equivalent to that of a dying cat.
Life in the fairytale world: Everything Drizella has become is a result of her upbringing. Her mother wasn't one for compassion or sympathy and often pushed the girl to strive for perfection. Drizella's number one priority in life is to marry someone of wealth and status. This has led her to restrict her own eating in order to obtain a more 'shapely figure' to attract a man. Her excessive dieting has left her with an eating disorder that causes her to eat very little or skip meals entirely without a second thought.
Lady Tremaine was eager, though not outwardly, to step up and band together with the Enchantress and her cohorts. Anything that would give another step ahead in life seemed ideal for the widow, and it didn't hurt that a rather well known prince's father was on the woman's side as well. In fact, it was shortly after her husband's death that she joined the band of villains and she wasted no time trying to set up Prince Gaston and Drizella. Drizella did as she was told, just as she always did, and made nice, but, to be honest, she thought he was beneath her. However, if he was willing to have her as a bride, she would gladly comply for she is not worried or blinded by silly things like love, just as long as he is faithful. She can't have people going around thinking she's a terrible wife!
