*looks around cluelessly* I'm lost.

Why so lost?
Jack would almost stop in his tracks as he takes the sword from her, feeling how light it is and testing the grip. He would look positively ecstatic. "YES! You are awesome! I can't wait to practice with this too! Oh, I've been waiting such a long time but my parents wouldn't get me a sword andIalwayswantedtopracticeswordplayanditsgoingtobesocool!" Stopping himsf, Jack would breath, looking embarrassed. "Sorry. Mouth faster than my head."
Jack would slow down a bit, making sure to point out which classes are which to Violet as they went. "I wish I had a sword to practice with. I've never had any real lessons, but I try to teach myself. It's in my family history, after all." He would say. "And you don't need targets, I can be your target!" Jack would smile pretty big. "Don't worry about me passing out over it, I've gotten really, really close. I just need the right place to do it. The only time I've made a sonicboom was in my hands, gotta try with my feet!"
Jack would nod, throwing his book in his bag and standing up. "I already took a quick run around, but it'd be more fun with you. And I'd love to get some real training in! It's hard to practice when you're afraid to disturb the peace as you go." He would say with a smile. He would look full of energy and ready to go. "Maybe if the place is right I can finally break the sound barrier! I've always wanted to go supersonic!" Jack would look ecstatic. "Let's go!" He would say as he took Violet's hand and began to lead her towards the halls.
Jack would take a breath before lifting his head. He would be smiling, his face a bit red. "I can't help but get tongue tied sometimes, it's never gone away since I was little. But I'm glad you do. Makes me feel better about being here if I can brighten someone's day." He would say, watching her play with the shadows. Jack would finish off his massive amount of food and be sighing contentedly, finishing his page and putting the book away, looking embarrassed all the while.

Jack really liked Violet so far. She seemed really nice, and he was glad to have a friend, someone he could actually get to know. He never really was friends with many girls, so he really hoped he wouldn't make a fool of himself too often.
Jack would look upset at that. "I didn't have many friends to begin with, so no one really knows about my powers except my parents. And that's just wrong to force it on someone to abuse their gift. I'm sorry that they hurt you." He would look like he's thinking before he would speak again. "You definitely deserve someone who would treat you better than that. It's hard to trust people when you have a gift, especially after you've been wronged. But... Umm.." He would stutter over his words for a second. "You can definitely trust me, if you want, I mean, I wouldn't..." He would just plant his face on the table. "There it is." He would say, referencing his nervousness.
Jack wouldn't even make any notice towards her glare, but message received. "Although, this is a bit of a private conversation. No offense pal, but maybe we can catch up later? Name's Vector, by the way, Jack if you like." He would say to he newcomer.

Pushing him aside from his thoughts, Jack would smile at Violet again. "Like I said, I'm here for the ride. I don't see myself making too many enemies. But I'm more surprised that I've been able to hold a conversation with you." He would say with a bit of embarrassment. "I tend to get really, really nervous around girls..."

I'm here! I just don't know how to enter. Someone help, perhaps?

Well, you could read a bit and start your post off by describing the auditorium scene form your point of view, then proceed to the cafeteria where most of us went.
Ugh, no one is on when I am. :/
Jack was going to answer, before the shady-ish guy interjected in their conversation. He would be smiling as he spoke, knowing full well that he was discussing his supposed weakness outwardly. "Well, unless someone here has a cage that can hold me long enough to starve me while I'm not exerting myself, I don't think it really counts as a weakness." Addressing Violet once more, he would shrug a bit. "If someone here has a problem with me or the way I do things, it's probably because they're too uptight. I don't look for enemies, I just give everyone the chance to be friends. And I don't exactly have enough looks to skate through, nor will everyone think I'm funny. I'm just here to meet people and train away from civilians. And I already made one friend." Jack would smile at Violet. "Besides, I'm full of surprises ready to burst out at Mach 1."

As the guy sat and asked his question, Jack once again shrugged. "It's a big enough table. As long as Violet thinks it is." He would say glancing at her to see if she wanted more company.
