Jack would carefully lift up the shirt, only enough to show the already swollen bruise of her ribs. He would wince slightly as he saw it. "If you let me try something, I might be able to heal it, maybe." He would say with a bit of doubt.

> Violet notices him doing this and rolls her eyes, cringing again as she tries to take a breath. "It's...fine..." she breathes. "I think you just bruised a rib." She clambers to her feet, but she immediately falls back down again as a sharp pain in her side forces her back down. "Maybe more than one." Jack would set the swords out of the way and lay her on her back. "You wouldn't happen to be able to heal with shadows would you?" He would say as he went to adjust her shirt, before suddenly stopping himself. "You aren't going to kill me for lifting this and checking your ribs, are you?"

Jack would immediately look apologetic as he went over to her, though careful not to let his guard down. Keeping the sword in his right hand, he would kneel next to her a bit tensely as he made sure it wasn't a trap. "I am so sorry! I didn't mean for it to be that hard, can't always control my strength!" He would offer her his left hand and place the sword over hers in slight preparation for a trick.

Jack would quickly side step, smacking her blade to the ground and sliding his sword up hers, hoping to bring it up and hit her with the flat right in the abdomen. Whether or not he does succeed, Jack would quickly step away diagonally to escape any possible retribution. Hopefully.

Thinking quickly, Jack would allow her behind him, then once the moment was right he would toss his sword up into the air and moonsault over her in one smooth jump, catching his sword mid air and landing in front of her, hopefully unsettling her as he flicks the sword up to stop at her neck.

Jack would smile and nod, taking his stance again and watching her closely. Without warning, he would dash forward and go for a quick slash at her midsection, hoping for her to block it.

Jack would, ironically, be trying to keep up, but his lack of skill would be his downfall. As he would turn, he would be nicked on the neck by Violet's sword and would stagger a bit trying to get away. After stepping out of arms reach, he would be smiling and looking pretty impressed. The slight cut would already begin healing, right before there eyes. "You are really good! I wish I could say the same of myself." Jack would say as he felt at he cut.

Jack would be surprised as he was suddenly tripped up, barely catching himself with his free hand and continuing in a slight cartwheel to escape Violet's reach. Landing on his feet after a second, he would lunge forward and try to catch her off balance, flicking the sword overhead in a swipe aimed for her neck, hoping to catch her and maybe end the round.

Jack would move swiftly, though not unfairly so, and flick the sword up at a diagonal, putting him in a small spin and hoping to deflect her slice overhead. Continuing the spin, he would bring the sword down in an arc aiming for her right shoulder, switching the sword so that the flat side would strike her if it connects.

> Violet smiles as Jack blushes and looks back at Ryan. "Thanks." She nods to him before walking back over to Jack, giving him a solid smile. "You want to practice with that sword? I could create another one and we could spar if you would like. I could teach you how to use it." She pulls out her vial, moving her hand over it to stop the swirling shadows inside from swirling anymore. She uncaps the top of it, waiting for his answer. Jack would nod repeatedly, smiling wide. "I'd love to get some practice in! Just so you know, I'm not the most fair fighter. I tend to freestyle too much, so keep an eye on me!" He would zip a safe distance away, taking a stance with the sword in his left hand, being a lefty giving him a usual advantage over others with more skill. "Ready when you are!"
