You're accepted though for now hold off on any posting I'm debating doing a time skip.
I honestly can't see why not. Show me your stuff
Oh man Ana, where have you been? Those arts are awesome by the way.
Even then fuyuki did say she was one of the few people he could tolerate, maybe that's reason enough to at least try to be nice?
Exactly what juju said Iennon, it's all about the journey and I'm glad I've gotten to take part in this journey with all of you, with those that left and the ones that continued to stay, it's been an incredible couple of months, a real learning experience.

Also Lennon, ana did prompt you to go talk to liferusher, why not do that?

"Christ you're not kidding..."

This guy really didn't know when to stop talking, then again Kyle had a penchant for not having a swear filter so he could somewhat relate. While hearing someone flap their gums would normally be annoying, for some reason in this instance it wasn't. Maybe it was the familiar language in a foreign land that made it more tolerable. Maybe it was for that same reason Kyle was able to speak his problems. Whatever the case Kyle didn't tell the whole story, and this guy want pressing questions, just voicing mild opinions, reassuring ones at that. In the back of his mind Kyle imagined his similar instance with Ami and feared this thing would go south like last time. The exact opposite happened, Kyle felt as he kept listening to this guy, his anger subsiding, to the point when the guy offered for them to watch a movie...

As they finished cleaning up the last bits of food, the broom and dust pan put away, Kyle turned to his new companion and said "you know what man, that sounds pretty fucking cool, " he gave a bit of a smile, extended his left hand, "name's Kyle Parker."
"Trader Toke"

Toke could count on one hand how many times Ueda had gone off on rants like this. The first time it happened Toke was taken aback, not because it happened, but because up to that point he thought he had Ueda figured out.

Toke always had a knack for hiding his true intentions from others, some were smart enough to figure it out, Ueda was one such person. Ueda also has that same skill but applied to different uses, Toke could respect him for that, but he never really considered Ueda to be his equal until that first incident. It was because of that, Toke realized Ueda had beaten him at his own game. Toke would even go far enough to call Ueda his friend, though he wouldn't let the bastard know that.

This incident Toke could surmise was caused by the couple of students walking into their respective dorms. For all his intelligence, his class, his sarcasm, Ueda was still just a struggling little boy playing his terrible lot in life. A creature of the light, succumbed to the dark, for whatever reason, even Toke knew not to press that subject. And then the question was asked. Toke could write a novel, wreath a soliloquy, use every fancy damn word he knew, but he knew Ueda wanted the truth, a simple answer. He knew it too, it was the same reason why Toke had long term goals, why he used an electronic cigarette instead of a real one, why he only drank to get buzzed and not black out drunk, why he only sold the hard drugs and never used them. Ueda was just as smart if not smarter than Toke himself, but he was also his complete opposite.

Toke sighed, taking a small drag from his cigarette, he pocketed it and said, "because not everyone is as nihilistic as you are Ueda."

"God why the hell is this guy talking to me..."

After having agreed to Kyle's proposal the other student had started talking nonstop, a bunch of random stuff, strange enough, completely relevant. Everything that this guy was talking about sounded exactly like Kyle's current issues. Spooking other students, aka blowing up at students, check. Time to heal and accept condition, hasn't happened, Kyle wasn't sure if it ever would, but this guy seemed optimistic enough about it; something about that was lightening. Kyle had to wonder though, why say anything to him at all, while he could specify every student, he knew most of the body had heard about his outburst on monday, in other words this kid had to have known who Kyle was. If so though, why say anything to him at all? Maybe it was to lighten the mood? Maybe it was a nervous tick? Maybe this was the way this student was dealing with his spooking, by talking about it... Kyle's grip tightened on the dust pan... "Maybe...if I talk about it...maybe that will help me figure things out? It couldn't hurt right...just don't lose it..."

"If it helps...you're not the only one who has a knack for spooking students, I'm sure you've heard about that angry foreign kid smashing about, well you're looking at him," he shook his head, "It's not like I meant to get a reputation like that, but I might as damn well deserve it, losing my damn temper, yelling at people who I don't want to yell at..."

The dust pan at this point was starting to get full so Kyle did the only sensible thing, got up and threw it in the trash. Turning back around he got back down in a squatting position and lowered the pan.

"You're right about one thing though, some people have had time to adjust and not every day is golden, this...all of this, the school, the disability... its all new, I have no idea what the hell I'm doing and I feel like every time I turn around I'm fucking something up."

Damn, he was really letting all of this out, he could feel his cheeks flushed, his sense of pride stricken, he could tell he was getting angrier too, he breathed in deeply closing his eyes. He didn't want to 'spook' this new kid by accidentally popping the cork.

Kyle was, at this point, really getting sick of this shit and would have lashed out at the student were it not for 3 things. First, the student continued to speak without skipping a beat, second, the sorry state he was currently in cleaning up some sort of...rice meat grub, it gave him somewhat of a pause. The third though and most importantly, this dude just spoke in fluent English. This definitive thing made Kyle stop completely in his tracks, blink a couple of times and any form of ill omen and anger suddenly vanished in the strange state of confusion to realization. Looking upon this student...he really was in a sad sort of situation, not even able to properly grip with his.... make that 4 things. Something else did click though, he 'spooked' a student, didn't that sound fucking familiar, "maybe he's in a similar boat as me? Then again I haven't heard anything about a vengeful lobster in school...god I'm a horrible person..." All in all though, he should probably help the guy out.

Sighing Kyle made his way over and squatted down next to the student "look... you have more limbs to work with than I do, I'll grip the pan, you sweep the mess, deal?" It was a weird feeling, using English again to actually have a conversation and not just as a way to vent a little. While the words themselves could have formed something akin to a joke, the tone used was too serious for it; Kyle figured he still wasn't in the best of moods yet.

Kyle immediately regretted his outburst, between her jumping and shrinking, and the murmuring of the townsfolk surrounding them, he pretty much felt like a complete ass...again. He lowered his head and tightened his fist, he wanted to tell everyone surrounding them to fuck off, but even he knew that'd just cause more trouble, for once, common sense overtook initiation. There was only one thing he could do, man up.

"No, Kaori, I'm sorry... let's just get back to campus..."

The trudge up the hill was long and arduous, more so than the trip down, though it didn't help that he felt weighted by the guilt of his actions. Four times already he had upset someone with his temper, this girl suffered from it twice so far, she didn't deserve that...and he didn't deserve her offer... The trip up the hill was much quieter than the one down into town, Kyle couldn't really face Kaori right now and he was pretty sure she'd want some space after that. They had finally arrived back to the dorms, the sour mood in the air yet unlifted, though Kyle wasn't sure he had the strength to lift it at that moment.

"I'm sorry, again, you didn't deserve that," he handed the bags back over to her, "and I don't deserve this... please don't make lunch for me tomorrow..." He walked towards his dorm, his mind preoccupied, he wasn't sure if she shouted after him, but his mind blocked out any current sounds as he opened the door to his dorm and closed it shut behind him. Walking forward a few steps, he stopped just shy of the entrance to the common area before slamming his fist into the wall, "DAMN IT!!!"
Kyle

The strength and speed with which she used to smack away his hand was startlingly surprising, though it wasn't so much the skill she used that had his mind occupied. All his life Kyle had to struggle in the dirt to find a higher calling, his situation with his missing limb was no different, despite that what he had earned had been taken away in a flash. In this instance, this girl was providing him with food, Every Day, and he felt more than obligated to reciprocate that offer with money, which in the past he had none of. Now, finally with a way to pay her back, she rejected it and although her voice was sweet, spoke with no worry and only kindness, there was something about her smile that made Kyle question things. His overall perception of her was very good, yes, but that smile and frankly this whole situation, made him feel incredibly put off. It wasn't until she spoke up that he realized he was on auto pilot trying to deal with what just happened.

"Yea...school or... damn it Kaori listen, I can't just accept this food without paying for it, it just doesn't sit right with me..."
"Trader Toke"

They had exchanged their greetings, like the mad men they were trying to fit into established society, and just as quickly escaped from it on a park bench. The words were quickly silenced, not really enjoying one another's company, just merely waiting in silence until one of them broke it. Eventually, Ueda was the one to do so.

"She seems a little young for you don't you think Tokey Toke?" Ueda mused in a dry tone.

Toke replied with just as dry a chuckle before fishing out the e-cigarette from his pocket, "fortunately for me, my good friend, your country's laws would greatly disagree with that comment," he paused briefly, a quick drag and blow before continuing, "fortunately for her I have higher standards," another chuckle escaped his throat. For some it would be hard to believe that the devil himself would have standards to begin with, despite the rumors though he was just another human being, albeit a bit of a twisted and sick one. Ueda was just as sick if not just as twisted, though his morals were set in a better place.

He shrugged slightly, "My latest gambit doesn't really matter though, my connections run deep enough through this school that one little trout slipping away is not much of a concern. That being said, never in my life though have I seen someone so... hm... terrified of human interaction before, quite phenomenal really, I imagine our paths will continue to cross throughout the year, it'll allow me more time to grasp a better understanding of her."

To some, that would actually mean what it meant, to Toke though, understanding meant picking apart a person's psyche to their core, to see them break if possible, though that usually resulted in trouble for him. In essence, he wanted to see how far he could take things, if he gained another customer, there was still no loss.

He smiled of course and sighed, "ahhhh but I'm sure you're not interested in hearing about my business ventures though, I imagine you'll be wanting the usual?"
