With a signal of his hand, two Riders strut in through a door which Lance had not seen when he entered. One was brandishing a needle filled with a deep blue liquid. All. Lance can see as the liquid is injected into his arm is an innocent smile on the man's face. (P.S The liquid is supposed to send Lance into, a, what? A deep sleep? It's like a really strong anaesthetic but completely not dangerous.)
