Avenger's Academy; Volume 1

Copen Thorsen

Basic appearance: The first thing you'll notice about Copen is that he's tall. Very tall. At 6,4", he stands above most people - and also has a coltish, slender frame. He is comfortable in his own skin, and although he sometimes wishes he wasn't so slim, he compliments his build in tailored button-down shirts, dark jeans and smart shoes. He has light blonde hair that often sticks up in random directions - but it suits his bubbly personality. He has navy blue eyes and blonde eyebrows that arch high when he smiles and laughs (which is quite often). He has quite 'sharp,' facial features, with high cheekbones and a strong jawline.
Costume: N/A. He doesn't sew...
Skills:
~ Persuasion. Copen can be quite charming, and he enjoys it too.
~ Language. He can speak fluent English and Danish, and some mediocre German.
~ Fit. Although only leanly muscular, he's quite a good runner.
Powers:
~ Water and ice manipulation. Copen can control the movement of water and ice, including turning it between both states. This power comes with weakness toward fire and extreme heat.
Brief bio: Copen grew up with an average life in Aarhus, Denmark. He was a popular child with his ever-present smile and louder-than-life laugh - although he wasn't ever particularly clever, he wasn't nasty either. When he hit 17, along came his growth spurt - and the powers too. His parents were scared, but accepting of what had happened. His powers grew stronger, and he had no proper instruction on how to use them. One day, he was by the sea with his friends, and a couple of drinks later he was messing around the ocean. With a surge of power, a huge wave rose up and crashed over the friends - one of whom could not swim, and drowned amongst the panic.
Copen was not prosecuted, but it was advised by the Danish government that he attend the Avenger's Academy if he aspired to use his powers for good and keep them in check. With mediocre grades and guilt hanging over his head, he agreed and the move was organised between embassies. He headed out on a plane by himself, to the Academy.

Initial observation report: Subject shows strong magical ability, albeit with weak control. Water manipulation noted. No signs of other powers. Good cardio fitness, average strength.

Potential outlook: High potential if powers can be managed. Possibility that water in blood/plants may be manipulatable.
Best case scenario: Strong candidate for future spokesman hero.
Worst case scenario: If powers overwhelm - possibility of devastating consequences. Incarceration in safety facility/send to Xavier's institute.

I could create an OC, like an up-and-coming hero. Otherwise, I'd totally play Spiderman. I really like him.
I can also do Wolverine, but I'm just unsure if the chemistry is going to be there.

Hi there guys,

I'm looking for someone to join me on a slightly different fandom roleplay. I'm a large fan of Tony Stark/Iron Man, and I'd like to write a 1x1 based around an adoptive father-daughter relationship (because dammit, it's cute.). If you're into angst, drama, cutesy, this is the roleplay for you. No romance here, at least between our two MCs.

I'm looking for someone with good emotional intelligence and writing skills. I'm not too fussed about the length of your posts, but I'd prefer 1-2 paragraphs. Honestly, I'm more into the quality than the quantity. If you can post 2 or so times per week, that's fine. If more, that's perfect!

I really hope that I can find a good match! I have a general starter-plot already thought up, so if I think we're a match, I'll give you all the deets and we can go from there. This RP could definitely develop into some dramatic superhero fighting later on, too.

Alice laid partially atop Victor, her face tucked into the crook of his neck. Her breath was still quick and her eyes were half-lidded with a mixture of fatigue and love. The feeling of his fingers in her hair was relaxing. She couldn't quite believe what had happened, but... it had. "Tired," she replied softly, a quiet laugh escaping her. She drew the sheet up to her chest as he left, her green eyes following him. In life, some men were beautiful. Not many were. He was.

She nodded at his suggestion, coming close to him again as he came to the bed. Snuggling into his chest, she sighed softly. She gave the tattooed skin a soft kiss, a hint of salt lingering on her lips as she closed her eyes. Bliss.
