Katie Limsworth
Age: 23
Appearance: Katie stands at a slightly shorter 5,3" with a petite frame, slightly hourglass and toned from training. Her first impression is that of harmlessness - large, soft, brown doe eyes, an innocent expression and a distinctively wide face that tapers down to a small chin. Her light brown hair is short, cut to just below her shoulders and straight. She tends to dress pretty well, with her handlers to thank for that.
Powers: Fire control - Katie can control existing fire, as well as generate it herself. She can only generate it from her hands. Her weakness is water; even humid environments make her feel tired and drained.
History: Katie lived pretty normally until the age of 15. Mutants were found here and there in the world, but they weren't at all common. She'd always felt sorry for them, and slightly afraid; they weren't completely accepted into society. And then, one day, she woke up from a nightmare and her house was on fire. Her parents didn't survive, but the flames didn't even hurt her.
Unbeknownst to her, she'd generated fire in her sleep due to stress, and the gene had awoken. She didn't discover the power itself until later on, while staying with her grandmother. Wracked with grief as she realised what she'd done, Katie ran away, fearing how she could hurt the members of family she had late. She only spent a day on the road before a 'nice,' man came to speak to her, having noticed how she'd cupped a fire in her hands to keep herself warm. At first frightened that he'd seen her, the outcast in Katie eventually became relieved that he seemed to accept her.
He wasn't one of the good guys. Part of a network of people who wished to use mutant powers for their own gains, she was put under the influence of a mutant himself. Due to the violent nature of her powers, she was set to dirtier tasks - taking out enemies of the group. With a cheshire-cat smile and a look like butter wouldn't melt in her mouth, she infiltrated easily and held no remorse in the act of killing itself. But in those nights, when she was locked up in a dark room, she'd cry and wonder... How did it come to this?
