Tanizaki Kagami

"Camila del Rosario Garcia." I slowly pronounced the strange sounding name. "Camila, i would pleased that you call me Kagami." My English was good at best but I was sure the words were not quite right, I bowed to cover myself. "Family name begins followed by given name last." I frowned, something was wrong with that sentence, I was sure. I bowed again "Kagami" I said and was just about to ask what a Rudo was when I heard footsteps.

I bowed to the girl that walked up, more because she was naked than in greeting. "Tanizaki Kagami" and once more bowed. "Yes, we should press forward, but first, we should let her finish." I spared the briefest of glances before the blood drained from my face and I turned away.

I heard more steps and turned back. Not even five minutes had passed when her torso was ripped opened and now she was walking about without any wound. She was naked as well.

“Sorry I got it messy, but here’s the figurine you dropped.” Winnie offered the bloody box to me. My face quickly went red as I did my best to stare at the bloody case and nothing else. I had no idea what changes had happened when she ate the flesh. "Tanizaki Kagami, thank you for returning this to me." I took the box carefully from her and bowed again.

I sighed, the figurine was unharmed but the box was ruined with her blood. "Yuuki Asuna from Sword Art Online, classic red and white costume in multiple poses." I sighed again as I carefully opened the box and dropped the out casing, I continued my sales pitch while removing individual components from the backing board and slowly put the figure together on its base. "no longer in its original unopened box and handled rarely, this figure still has all its additional pieces."

I held the figure lovingly before placing it on the ground and weighting the base down with some loose stones. I said a silent prayer before raising and waiting for the other girl to join us. I did my best not to look at slaughter one girl was causing by herself.
Angfort ~ Ellaryn Bracegirdle

It was a real struggle for Ellaryn when the chocolate cake was placed in front of her. Never had she felt so welcome in her travels, and almost a dark thought crossed her mind that perhaps she hadn't done anything to deserve such a gift. She cast her eyes around the room and saw that only Aelin and the friendly Dwarf remained. The second Elf in their little group just disappearing up the stairs moving slowly and carefully. "She must be royalty to move with such grace," she thought. She turned back to the innkeeper.

"Two more forks if you would be so kind, Mr Innkeeper." Ellaryn gave her cheery smile to him and then divided the cake into three. Her mouth was starting to water and her eyes kept twitching towards to delicious looking cake, as she approached Aelin and then the Dwarf. Before she reached either, one slice became slightly smaller than the others.

"Mmmpfff....aster Aelin, for you." Els swallowed and offered a fork and a slice of (uneaten) cake the Elven minstrel. She then turned and made her way to the Dwarf. The untouched slice had somehow become a bit smaller and was now the same size as it's small companion. Els wondered how that was possible as she slowly chewed.

"Mmmpff...ster Dwarf." She swallowed the sweet tasting cake and carefully curtsied to him. "Ellaryn Bracegirdle at you service, and a slice of home in this delicious chocolate cake is yours as well." She looked long and hard at the two remaining small slices, then offered a fork and the larger of the two to the Dwarf.

It took two more bites before Els finished the cake and downed the last of her milk. She thanked the innkeeper again, thanked the gathered folks and especially the giant red bearded man. "Your welcome is much appreciated and went straight to this hobbit's stomach, if only you were one-eighth the size and I would make you the happiest person in Middle-Earth."

Once more she stood on a stool to address the inn as a whole. "Hopefully we will meet again, but we have to meet someone," She cast her eyes towards the ceiling, "Thank you all for your warm welcome" She curtsied and got down from the stool and went to the staircase where Nora had offered to show the way.

She couldn't help herself and belched as she past the innkeeper.

i would, but it will be a post about a hobbit, a cake and an impression of a hamster storing food XD

I'll be making a short(ish) post soon, will just be on cake and following others upstairs. (No I don't think I'll be sharing the cake either, before anybody asks.)
@TombprinceWhat did you steal from the poor bastard?

Oo I do hope I made it clear in my post, no. Els want to (unconsciously) and had to force herself not to steal. they were real tears XD

EDIT: Els got cake, she's going to eat it like a...erm...hobbit.
Tanizaki Kagami

I was determined to keep my eyes open as death came for me. It seemed that today I would be denied that, for three of the girls who eat that forbidden flesh, both burnt from the inside out and survived in this weird world. All them became more ferocious, the fires withing having destroyed their clothes seemed to fuel their frenzy and also armour them in its intensity.

I could only watch as they the shadows that had plagued us all this way finally fled in terror at the transformations. I decided to stay away from the russian, she seemed entire;y to violent for my tastes and was far more interested in destroying the shades she could get her hands on. Since it helped in our survival, I let her be.

I stood up and gingerly approached the spanish looking girl, as she spoke I cocked my head to one side, not understanding her. Finally she spoke in english, and her ideas made sense to follow. I bowed, "I am pleased to agree with your suggestion, I am Tanizaki Kagami and I am glad that we did not eat the flesh of evil." and as the girl started to move away, I fastened my bag and swung it over onto my shoulders and followed her.

I needed to figure out how I was going to get back home and how on earth I was going to survive in this place. it seemed best to me to follow someone that was less....berserk.
@Luminosity

I forgot to post about Cal's eyes, I'll add it into my next post. Just as a heads up Els finds Cal's distant look to be regal and her eyes are just enchanting. If Els was to look up the stereotypical Elf she would find the name Calariel written there XD

Blin did his best to move, his eyes snapped open as a warm hand took his and pulled him out of the way of the flying boulder. Didn't he just roll out of of the way? No he had daydreamed it. He blinked in surprise and saw that he had saved again by the same girl that had saved him from crashing.

"Too slow!", she called out to him.

"Th..thanks." Blin stummered back to her, did she know him? A stranger saved him twice and she...

Blin held up his hand, he could still feel the warmth of her touch. It was pleasant and scary at the same time, he didn't know what to make of it. He lightly held his own glowing orb with his other hand, wondering how his would form into a creature or companion as well, as he stared at her back. She pointed her halberd it at the foe with a ferocious, wild roar. "Rrrrraaaaaaaaaahhhh!"

Blank was facing the creature and had thrown a stone at it. "Come get me, wormeater!" He shouted, beginning to move away from the group. He practically danced backwards, trying to lead the bird on a merry chase through the woods, and away from the rest of his group.

Blin turned to his fallen glider, taking advantage of the two people distracting the creature, and hurriedly took a strong brace from what was left. A short staff, something improvised, but pretty solid he hoped. Now armed he ran back and added his support to the girl and her ghostly companion. He felt better now at least he help in some small way.
It looked like Marmite, and I hate Marmite.
Tanizaki Kagami

I ran, following the stranger in front of me as best as I was able. then the deafening roar of an explosion came from behind me, it spurned me onwards. I only hoped the girl that had saved us, in some small way, was at peace. I checked behind myself to see if the three others were keeping up and caught the rapidly fading glow of blue light where we had fled from. I noticed the blood running down one of the three, and then the shades were on one of the others in a sudden frenzy.

One shade had swiped and ripped a gaping wound in her torso, I screamed. The other shades ignored me in a frenzy to eat the dripping flesh. they tore into themselves to get to it and I screamed again at the violence. i fell to my knees and just looked on as the hoard slowly turned to face us.

Suddenly, a panicked and distressed voice rang out in the minds of all the girls gathered: "If you want to live eat the remains of the shade in front of you! HURRY!"

Of course I wanted to live, but at what cost?

I made my decision and hugged the last possessions I had tighly. I would not fall to to these creatures depths, I would not succumb to barbarism, I would remain civilised in this unnatural world whereever it was. "I will NOT."

I held my bag tightly and gritted my teeth for whatever was to come.
Yay, Blin has a Christmas bauble XD
