Alright... In that case, could you tell me if I'm off the mark with these? I'm more than willing to change if needs be.

-Project Constructs(High): The user conjures simple tools and objects no larger than a breadbox, remaining in existence so long as she focuses on them. Traditionally, Clarimonde utilized this spell for field surgery, summoning sterile clamps and scalpels. Occasionally she drinks out of a conjured teacup for kicks.
-Lesser Judgement(High): Crude but effective, this spell hurls white bolts of energy, doing damage which cannot be healed by magic. Hits as a crossbow bolt.
-Ward(High): Simply a ward against other magic, this spell protects its target for a few hours before wearing off. Has no effect against physical weapons. Analogous to chain-mail, the ward does not completely negate other spells, just lessens their effect on the beneficiary.
@Stitches
If you look at the magic section, there's High, Change, World, Necromancy, Timespace, and Mind magic. So those are the types. Your spells can be from any school, though as far as I can tell the more schools you know spells from, the weaker you are in those individual schools(?) You have 6 snowflake points, and you can either use those for individual spells or individual exceptional skills. In the rules section you'll see the progression rules per story arc for learning more magic/skills, and that's about my understanding of the system. If you're going for a Druid-type, my money is that Change and World magic will do you good. Change alters things, heals wounds, makes tree branches into swinging fists, etc. World magic is just avatar-style bending, but with gravity.

Hope that helps!

Somehow, I think I'll be alright.
@Tyki
And there are no restrictions on faceclaims? Like, we're not limited to real photographs, anime, etc.
@Tyki
I think it's also interesting that people so far have been very little invested in magic compared to the exceptional skills. ...which does remind me, it IS okay to start with a x3 exceptional skill, right? If not, I'll just slap another spell on her cs and call it a x2 medicine
@Stitches
Noted. If you're buying for utility, I'm planning on giving her exceptional medicine x3 and 3 high magic for warding andresearch purposes, if that seats you either way :T
@Rex
To my knowledge,there aren't any actual slave characters yet. I'm actually planning on making a hardcore medic who became a slave under the Iron Decree, though I haven't got her CS up yet.

EDIT: Sorry, got you and @Stitches mixed up, my b
@Tyki
Aww, I feel all special!

But ye, I appreciate the info, thanks :D

Awesome, good to know. When do we plan on getting started, and by when would the character sheet best be in? I'm kinda super busy right now but trying to put work in when I can.
@Letter Bee
So all the player characters will have six spells/exceptional skills, but I was wondering how common that level of power was in the populace. If I walk down the street and bump into the baker, is it likely that he has some kind of magic to deal with the master swordsmen stealing flour from his suppliers? I ask out of curiosity and backstory reasons.
