I prefer casual roleplay,
though free roleplay is fine too once in a while
(for when I don't want to write multiple paragraphs).
Genres I prefer:
Modern, historical, fantasy, romance, slice of life, anime/manga, vampires, horror, gore, samurai, pirates.
Genres that don't pull my attention as much (however this does not mean I won't try it out):
Sci-fi, post-apocalyptic, apocalyptic, ...
