Sorry everyone! I've had a LONG week, and with the school play coming up (and being the lead), I might not be so active. This is confusing to me, so if Eklispe can start the RP or guide me along, that would be splendid. And to answer The15thSpyCrab's question, it's based off of the Ranger's Apprentice series, but we can add on to it.
Since we have 6 people, we can start the roleplay. I'm not very sure how this works, so can anyone guide me through what I should do next?
Bump
I find myself interested. Are you talking about a modern day settlement or maybe like colonial times settlement?
I'm not sure if many of you have read the Ranger's Apprentice series, so here's a quick summary

"Alongside others, Will is an orphan in Castle Redmont. At age 15, the orphans are expected to either become an apprentice of one of the masters at Redmont Fief or go off to work in the fields. After much stressing and suspicion of his own behalf, Will is chosen to become a Ranger. Rangers are the intelligence force and unofficial "spies" of Araluen. They have mastered the art of unseen and unheard movement, camouflage, knife throwing, knife fighting skills and archery. After being an apprentice for a few days, Will's teacher, a legendary Ranger named Halt, takes Will to see his horse Tug. With Tug, Will trains in the skills needed to pass his assessment at the annual Ranger meeting, called the Gathering."

My idea was 3 or 6 people are the masters. They can choose what they would like to teach. Battleschool, Rangers, and Spellmakers are a couple of ideas. The masters could teach the other 6 or 3 apprentices and the story would go on from there. It's hard to write an idea down, since it will mainly be up to the Masters to decide what roles the apprentices would get. Any ideas to help support this, and feedback is appreciated.
A once peaceful country, Topious, is now torn in half due to rebels. There are 5 districts in this story, all of which are different. There are 2 sides to this story. The Capitalists: Want the districts to unite and form 1 big district. Believe equality is more important than freedom. Funds: High. The Rebels: Believe freedom over equality. Want all districts to remain separate, with their own laws. Funds: Low. The characters in this story are part of the army. It is up to you to decide the fate of Topious. The districts have different landscapes.
1. City. The capitol is located here.
2. Rural. Many abandoned barns are located here.
3. Prairie. Homes are built near the borders. The central area of this district is uninhabited.
4. Swamp. Homes are on top of trees.
5. Forest. Homes are scattered about. Wildlife thrives in these areas.

The summary might look vague, because I believe there should be creative freedom in this roleplay.
