Fallout: New York (Still accepting :D)

Tom sat back down glad that some people were willing to help keep watch. He took a bite and watched as the light slowly turned to darkness.
Just staring out into wasteland with a few thoughts circling his mind.

When it was time he grabbed his gun and started watching for the people already asleep. His watch was uneventfully boring. Tom was keeping time with the position of the moon. It wasn't a very accurate way for him to tell time but he only needed to stay up for a third of the night anyway. When his watch was over Tom when to wake David and went to sleep when he started his watch.

Tom physically and mentally felt like shit. Even with the fact the Enclave was probably going to win he was hoping more people would escape. Now he was drifting with a few other people he recognized and some people he didn't. With the awkward silence Tom decided to try to break the ice. "I...so...sigh" Giving up with a sigh Tom stopped trying to make conversation with anyone. After they landed Tom got out of the raft and helped anyone that needed help getting out.

When night fell Tom was by a fire he had made for the others. Gabriel left the main group and sat some distance from the others. He got up and cleared his throat as he looked at the others. "We should figure out who is going to watch over the others while they sleep. I'll take first watch." Some of the others looked like they were about to pass out but they needed to set up a watch just in case they might be attacked.

Tom hid behind his cover while we tried to think of a plan. He couldn't get close because of the lack of cover between them. Next thing Tom knew he was on the ground with a ringing in his ears. As his vision came into focus he was staring at the wall he was hiding behind. "Ugh...FUCK!" Pain shot through him as he realized a piece of metal from the boat was in his arm. Fighting the pain he started to get up, leaving his sniper on the ground, and drew his 10mm pistol. Just then Tom heard a Vertibird approaching and he had lost a lot of blood. After walking for a bit he fell down and his vision darkened.

I was thinking while this is going on a npc guarding the boat grabs the rocket launcher and fires it at your hiding spot. Then you could engage and I would go down with a shot or a punch. Or your support could show up and quickly end this in some way. What are your ideas?

Tom hide behind cover as he was shot at. So far his plan of locating were he was at and drawing fire away from the civilians was working. He took aim were the Enclave bastard was and waited. While he was anticipating were he would show himself next he heard some more shots being fired at Alex. As soon as Alex showed himself Tom would fire at him.

Before the attack:

Tom went back to the main gate on his continued job of messenger ghoul. He didn't really mind this job but his main always wandered onto the thought of the upcoming attack. When he reached the gate he would find and ask Ahab and David if they would be willing to help out during the attack and if so to follow him to Major Bentsworth.

During the attack:

Tom was by the docks leading men woman and children out of the city and, hopefully, to freedom. Everything seemed to be going as smooth as it could when lasers killed one of the defenders than hit a boat causing it to exploded taking out a lot of people. Using his experience as a sniper he quickly focused on the area where the shot should be coming from. Taking some cover behind a metal wall he shot at the gift shop hoping to draw some of the fire away from the others.
