Hermmm I seem to be away from my PC for an indetermant time now, if it helps everyone I could just skip this turn/bulletpoint what I was going to do in my post, just to keep things moving. I am still very much interested, which is why I do not want to become a detriment
General question to everyone, not just Urukhai. Does this mean we can expect another GM post soon?
Out of interest, how much contact did the other two races have with the currently infighting bird people before they civil war started? EDIT: I ask because if this is the first time any of these races have encountered each other, then A) This would be a first contact event and B) Talking to each other would be rather difficult.
The Kimo have encountered the Seraphians only just recently and they haven't made contact with them yet. They're just watching them, learning as much as they can.
I was planning to wait to see if others joined in but I'm not sure if I should post or not
Depends on Urukhai doesn't it :s
OK I'm stuck in line sim 2k 15 right now but when I get through I should be able to post
It's quite alright ;p Jangel needs to post as well. No rush ;p I ws mostly just joking.
come come ;p Quickly so my evil plot can commence! *maniacal laughter*
ok, I'l play this game. 124
The Kimo don't really want to get involved with the Seraphian crisis actually. So they haven't chosen a side.
I don't see why not, honestly if your choice wins or if it's a combo of two then you get major bonuses for the future
The Kimo don't see it that way. They see an alien race in conflict with no clear victor and two other alien races joining the mix. They don't want to risk alerting anyone to their presence and then promptly make an enemy out of at least one, possibly two alien races. They wouldn't be able to justify that in front of the council. If the other aliens were to act agressively things may be different and the Kimo could act as portection for the Seraphians because that is a justifyable cause though.

Base Level Military communication. Encryption level two. (Intercepted by Seraphians) From: Fifth fleet second Stealth Reconnaissance Group. (SRG-2) To: Fifth fleet central command. Alien race known as ‘Seraphians’ contacted by two (2) additional alien races. Context appears political. Both races want dominance over local politics in order to gain allies on a larger, so far unknown scene. Tsoni institute researchers recommend no Kimo involvement in the matter unless war is brought to the Seraphians from either alien race. Stealth Reconnaissance will continue and Seraphian as well as alien signals will be monitored. (*Intercepted public broadcast transmitted on a hijacked government feed*) “People of Maro! Rise up against Federation oppression and those in the capital that associate themselves with it! We must fight! Fight and free ourselves from their shackles! For Maro! For Freedom!” (*Intercepted public news article.*) Maro 25-13-3211 by Baku Son Hirhanen There have been several unconfirmed reports that Federation army units are being readied for deployment on Maro, likely in the light of the recent hijacking of several government media channels and the message contained therein from the Movement for Independent Maro (MIM). Local officials however have urged the Federation to remain on the side lines and allow the Maro government council to continue its operations to apprehend the members of MIM before the movement turns violent. Federation officials have so far maintained that no army boots will tread on Maro’s surface unless the council cannot guarantee the safety of federal citizens from violent terrorists. Summary: The Federation is secretly monitoring the Seraphians and those they are in contact with but have decided to remain uninvolved in local politics. Meanwhile, civil unrest is brewing once more on the strategic world of Maro where local Independence Movements are stirring up trouble.
he has got till tomorrow and then he is out... I feel I have been overly generous with the time he has been away.
Can I offer an alternate suggestion? You don't have to kick him out just yet. I mean this was just the first turn afterall. Why don't we just assume that, for now, his race has been rather idle, not sending scouts out and such. Sitting on their butts basically. Nothing absolutely critical has happened yet and he might still join in later. So just make the next gm post so the rest of us can continue and then just wait and see. Now if he doens't post after two or three other rounds then yes, by all means kick him out. But let's not be hasty.
