[Description: Take 2. Added a couple more details and fixed the naming mistake.]
Name: Ethan Morrow
Race: Caucasian
Age: 18
Height: 5”8
Weight: 135
Hair: Dark brown, grown out straight to the middle of his back, and usually pulled back into a ponytail.
Eyes: middle tone brown
Face: His face seems rather slight and small, with a pointed chin.
Skin: white, somewhat pale, freckles and some minor acne
Build: not very muscular, lean and thin, like he doesnt necessarily always get enough to eat
Clothes: Jeans, faded t-shirts, the kind you would get at conferences, with logos and such. Usually in shades of black, white, and blue, but occasionally other colors as well. His shoes are typically a pair of black, relatively cheap sneakers that are falling apart.
Accessories: cheap watch
Weaknesses: blind in right eye, very myopic without glasses in the left

General Personality: Ethan has developed a fairly depressed and defeatist attitude due to many years of neglect and social torment. He still finds joy in some things however, music, being with the friends he has, things of that nature. He tries to hide his inner depressing thoughts because he knows they are unacceptable and will be treated as just “outbursts” from a mind with an imperfect genetic code. He's very intelligent, but he gave up trying in school because it bored him and he was never recognized or encouraged to do well. Now he works on projects in his spare time and sometimes skips school just to build something out of scraps or study a musical composition. He is withdrawn and introverted, except among the few friends who enjoy his company. While he disagrees with the way “in-valids” are treated, he does not really think he can do anything about it and chooses to live his life as well as he can.

Background: He was abused by his parents, called a “mistake” and ridiculed for being “stupid” and not doing well in his classes. Major physical abuse from them was fairly rare, however. Mostly he was just ridiculed or ignored. The other students at school resent him because he used to make good grades, despite being genetically inferior. Even when he stopped trying and stopped making good grades, his poor genes, lower-class clothing, and lack of high-tech toys still made him a fairly easy target.
So basically, you want to design it so that he has a little hope left and then be able to quickly crush it yourself. Lovely! No seriously, I have a strange and unfortunate love for that kind of plot.

Anything else to decide?
I can live with that. I am guilty of what I call the "Star Trek fallacy" ... not making my humanoids look TOO alien.

Anything else to discuss besides that?
Hmm, since the slavery of magical creatures is such an integral part of the society, I would think having the marketplace in the city/downtown area would be a good way to symbolize that.
The villa idea always works. Powerful and somewhat cruel men and mansions just sort of go together.
The rebel cell could be in a warehouse near to the marketplace. Perhaps one of their specialties is capturing slaves before they are sold?
I can live with that. I imagine (though the causes would be different, repressed emotions versus naturally muted emotions) that it would play out more like Tuvok or other Vulcans than Data. Sounds fun, and allows for some lovely sarcasm.

Fair enough, I can live with that. Whoever built the androids (a long dead civilization) can have built them that way. Their form should be somewhat... alien, however. If they were built in the aliens' own image.
Sounds lovely. And very fun to play out, that internal turmoil.
[Removed due to redundancy]

Yeah, he wouldn't have any hoverboards. Just a basic laptop and maybe some stuff that he was able to cobble together himself. How awful do you want me to get with this abuse both at school and at home?
I can live with that. Thanks for being so accommodating. ;-)

What's next on the agenda?
The works for me. Spiking the human's blood with some soul binding gem dust or something? What would the differences be between a "normal" bond and an "invasive" one?
Well, yes. I never thought it would take two days. Though, "Measure of a Man" is one of my favorite TNG episodes of all time.

I like the idea of more settings and all... but I think that any kind of space travel is just going to take too much energy and logistical resources to be worthwhile very often. It would make more sense if the conference meets twice a year, at a different location each time. It would also give the delegates time to discuss progress on their homeworlds, which could be interesting. It could work for interaction if you played one of my character's aides and I played one of yours.

Love the other drama ideas as well, though. Oh, here's a good question. Do you think the androids should have emotions or be more like Data?
