The gladiator and the princess

Lauralye stayed close to Robert as he fought of the demons and felt a little safer now that they were fighting them from all sides of her. She mumbled her and there and cast spells trying to help the knights. None of the spells she cast were lethal but they kept them at bay. Wind blew them back or fire erupted in front of them scaring them as the knights handle those who passed.

Leticia is a strange sort. She is adventurous and cautious. Outgoing and meek and a little, well, vague. She doesn't struggle to make friends though. People seem to be drawn to her hopeful outlook on the world and playful attitude. She is almost always happy and wishes to do wrong to none.
Skills:
Painting, cooking, ventriloquy, dance, chess, pottery, guitar, knitting, sewing, climbing, candle making, brushing hair.... After spending 18 years in the tower she can do a lot...

Biography (Before Earth): Shortly after she was born to the King and Queen of Corona she was stolen away by a witch. She was hidden away in a tower with no door and only one window. Most days, Rapunzel spent humouring herself with hobbies and activities. However, this all changed after the Witch had a bit of a spat with Maleficent. The Evil Fairy took her vengeance upon the crone by going after her 'daughter'. Rapunzel was stolen away from her tower at the age of seventeen and taken to Earth by Markus Juniper, a servant to Maleficent.

Biography (Life On Earth):
Due to being separated from her parents far before the dark Queen's plan and the exhile of the children, For the last year, she has spent her time working. Her hair intrigued a local hairdresser who took her in upon the girl's comment that she was lost but sure she was far from home. Rapunzel was scared and amazed by this new world all at once. Although, as she spent her time in it, she realized the length of her hair was far more inconvenient than it was when she was in the tower. With the help of the hair dresser who took her in, the cut it to a considerably shorter length. Her golden locks still lower passed her knees as she was not willing to go any shorter. In her time at the salon with her new friend she started to learn the ins and outs of hairdressing and has started to work alongside those she had been living with for the last year. The woman who took her in continues to call her Rapunzel but believes it to be a nickname.

Memories of her home and past have started to fade.

Lauralye felt her blood turn to ice when he mentioned Lucien. The Demon had so easily seduced her with the thought of power. It hurt a little to think about what she had been willing to give up just to understand the magic that she never even knew that she had. She looked at the two men and pleaded "David, you never had my heart. That was our problem, we weren't in love!"

She yelped when the demons appeared and had to look away as Robert cut them down. She might have been learning how to fight but she had been in one where lives were in danger and taken. She knew from the beginning that she couldn't kill someone... It wasn't in her nature and she most definitely couldn't stomach it. She watched at the two men fought, "David, please. Lucien will kill you once you kill Robert..."

She screamed as a demon grabbed her arm and as if she called the guards came racing it. Some stayed in the hall as she requested but the rest came and fought the demons that were seeming to just flow into the room. A guard cut off the arm of the demon who held her and moved her behind him as she shook and kicked the limp arm away from her.

Lauralye followed Robert to the door only to have it shut before anyone could pass through with him. She hissed, sure she could open the door herself but Robert had agreed to her keeping them safe too and now he was closing doors so that it was just him. What if there were people other than David or her father in there? What if there were guards? Robert was strong and quick but he couldn't fit off a large amount of people at once.

When she heard the fighting she looked at the men and whispered, "You stay here and protect the door. I'll call if I need help... But not all of you can come in... Figure out who does before we need you."

Then she opened the door slightly and slipped in. She was glad to see that it was just David, she was less happy to see him wielding a sword and fighting Robert. Her hand went up in flames, "David. Stop."

Lauralye looked up at him, still worried. She leaned into his hand a little as he caressed her cheek then nodded, "Okay... I trust you... But... I'll come with you. I can use my magic if you or anyone gets in trouble," She took hold on his wrist and smiled, "I protect us too..."

Jaya rubbed her hands together as he spoke and smiled as he brought up the Fire Nation. She nodded her head, "I guess... I don't think it is the same though... The Fire Nation was under some pretty strict rules during the war and I lived in a city so... It was a place that you didn't really know your neighbour. I have friends and family back home but things are just different now..."

She took off her gloves again and breathed fire into her hands again, making them glow orange for a moment before it disappeared. She grinned, "I really hope you are right about the whole getting used to it thing... I'm not used to anything below freezing and well," She looked at the ice that lay in the ocean, "This is far passed that."

Jaya walked over to Nikko and Senge and curled up in the beast's fur. She looked at Nikko, "They weren't kidding when they said it was cold."

She laughed a little, as exciting as everything was with the new scenery she found it had to concentrate with her jaw constantly chattering. She adjusted herself against Senge as he swung his tail around and placed it in her lap. She was just glad that he wasn't too cold or at least didn't seem to be freezing. She rested her head against him, "I'm wear three pairs of socks right now but I'm pretty sure they've gone numb," She joked.

Despite the freezing, there was an excitement in her eyes. She'd never seen icebergs or Tiger Seals everything was new and wonderful. Even the cold was a little exciting who knew the cold could actually make her lose feeling in her feet. She looked at Nikko all cozy in his Water Tribe Winter Wear and smirked, "Do you miss it?"
