Personality: Sal is a hot head. Loud proud and a will forged in the heart of a volcano. Her make up is engine grease and her goggles are her accessory. She doesn't even act interested in "BS" like politics or pop culture. Despite her rough exterior shes brilliant when it comes to chemistry and mathematics, leaving most to believe she cheats on her school assignments. While others may have found it depressing to be alone so often, her tinkering makes the time fast enough that she hardly notices. (And her headphones make it hard to hear conversation anyway.)

History:She doesn't know her flesh and blood, and she doesn't care. She provides for herself since she ran away from her "family" when she was 12. She supported herself on the streets with the most legal of means, stealing. After a while she was stealing broken things and rebuilding them into more efficient functioning versions of themselves. At 14 she was picked up by a repair man, who traded her housing for her services (complete with curfew and fatherly advice.) He talked her into college saying how it would allow her to work with more dangerous materials...which he did not.
