Anyone out there trying to write about some sad cowboys and cowgirls? I love me some western, and god is it tricky to find.

First DnD session went awesomely! My players loved it, and a dragonborn was nearly killed by a bugbear.

Heyo! I'm Tybalt, and I'm an alcoholic...
Shoot, I think I'm doing this wrong. Y'know what, I'mma just throw up a character sheet for myself, y'all know how to read those.
Name: Tybalt Species: Human. But, like, kinda Hobbit, too? Age: 24 Rank: Peasant, probably. Personality: Hard to nail down since I'm the one writing it, but I'm a type three on the Enneagram if that's worth anything. Description: Two arms, two legs, a head, no feathers. Abilities: Casual to advanced writing. I love a good advanced, but it's gotta be engaging as well as deep. Advanced is an investment, so I rarely keep up with more than one at a time. Likes: Pirates, Knights, Cowboys, and everything in-between. I don't mind a good romance, but I'm just as happy to have a bro-tp as an otp. I also love anything by Brandon Sanderson, so if we've got some other fans out there, hit me up in the pm's. Dislikes: This is less a dislike than a personal failing, but I tend to over-commit to too many stories, then not respond very quickly. You have been warned, I guess.
@NarilI'm kind of figuring that at this point, whatever I write is better than having nothing. With that attitude, I'm throwing nonsense onto paper and hoping it sticks.
As she completed her three strikes on the second wolf, Aster felt almost as though she'd just breathed a lungful of cold, clean air. Her rage of battle had subsided, and she was left with a light sweat, and a euphoric excess of energy. Energy that needed an outlet.
Despite the urge within her that begged that she unleash it through another triple-attack, the fact that the wolf seemed to be in such rough shape, accompanied by her depleted mana, made her more cautious than the stirring within her wanted to be. Even so, when she released the growing sensation, her attack was by no means casual. Her sword swept out in a lunging back-slash, arm extending naturally to gain maximum range, and thus more momentum. With a surprisingly graceful spin, she slashed the gleaming blade along the flank of the wolf, all the way to its upper shoulder, opening a sparkling red rift, streaming little pixels of light.
Once again, as she delivered the strike, she felt her lungs emptying in a ferocious roar of exultance in the destruction she had wrought. This... This was living.
Summary: Aster hits the wolf one time, yells about it, feels frickin' great.
Well, so far all is well! Not much has gone down plot-wise, but a ship has been sighted, so my crew can finally get some action (I may have used that phrase wrong).
