You can have exceptional skills stack so long as they total up to no more than 6. Also I think exceptional skills might need a rebalancing, because they do kind of give me the vibe that they are just simply better than magic due to being able to cancel it out.

It was partially me confusing it with the numbered system and also experience saying mind control can be a bit game breaking and not-fun for everyone else. Suggestion is generally more balanced and (hopefully) up to the receiving player's judgement as to whether it works. However generally if someone start resisting the suggestion EVERY time I'll probably say something about it.

Seems a bit more on the modern side for this particular rp. Think more steam punk if you'd like to have something technologically advanced beyond the times, but aside from that you can have two more exceptional skills and you'll be fine. Unless letter bee takes issue with a character not being born with magic :V

It's kinda strange, no one ever likes to go for people that aren't freeing all the slaves for whatever reason. Aside from the GMPC i'm still writing up, no we don't actually have anyone that owns slaves.

Seeing as how slavery has kind of always been a part of human society and has really only recently been mostly abolished, and even then we're all still slaves of a different kind now-a-days anyway, I'd say that slavery's likely been around since the dawn of civillization in one way or another. Though final say is up to @Letter Bee. As for being a relative of the empire, I'd reccomend against it being something like a nucleic member (brother, sister, father, mother, son, or daughter) as generally something that close is a bit lore-integral for most rps, however again letter Bee still gets final say on it. Generally nobles are relatives of the main royal line so an uncle or something is likely to be a duke while a close cousin's like to be a baron and so on and so forth. Generally if you are of noble blood from that region, you'll be related to him.

The exception to this being the guards as they'd probably need to deal with people such as the pc's fairly regularly. The general rule of thumb is that most guards of the type that have freshly joined the force will be around 2-3 skills, veterans that have been there for a few months will likely be around 5-6, and officers that have been there for years and likely actually fought in a few wars will be around 8-9 skills. So yeah, the civillians aren't going to be too hard one on one but don't fuck with the guards ;P

If a character either is heavilly suspicious of you or knows you did something your mental suggestions will not work. Level two mind spells are not mind control, they are simply suggestion. Also, if you want that rapier artifact to be enchanted but are indulging in the line of thought "I best not talk about it or they'll play around it" stop, and say what the enchantment is on the cs. Otherwise, it's not enchanted, and if someone starts meta gaming you I will slap the shit out of them just as hard as I will slap the shit out of you for doing so.

As tiny's explained things to me, this rp doesn't appear to be for me. As it was explained it is meant to be a "tour through war-torn worlds" sort of rp, however, none of the worlds I've read in on actually interest me at all aside from Masterekun's and that's just because of the dragon thing. This includes my own world, honestly it was rather nuetered compaired to how it originally was in terms of things going on which left it feeling barren to me, due to the rules of RPG, as would any world i'd be interested in toying with due to how much my worlds tend to be inspired or themed via H.R.Giger. As for what to do with my character's/worlds, i don't personally care. use them as you will, i have no real love for them.
