@Jbcool Actually, now reading that, that sounds much for fun than a random assembly-goer. I forgot that detail. If Sven is alright with it, that would work most likely much better as a co-op.
@Louis Dabout@UltikanaRe@Sven the Silent@MetalLover@ArenaSnow@TheSage

Is everyone still here and interested, say now or forever hold your peace?

Ultikan and Louis, how would you feel about co-oping - at least initially? I'm going for an actual historical solution to this - having rival political factions in the Athenian Assembly - but will you two be willing to follow it?

Seven, you'd best be good with Sparta, I don't like the idea of handing one of the two major powers to just anyone; you can assure me that it'll get the attention it deserves?

Interest is present-ish.
I was not too interested in a co-op, seeing as I had hoped to use my actual knowledge of the war to see what could be done to actually halt the decline of Athens. I suppose it -might- work...
@UltikanaRe Any chance you'd settle on another polis or nation/kingdom?

Pretty much does have to be Athens or Sparta, though. I will concede Sparta, since I did not claim claim it originally, but not Athens.

Athens is fine then.
@UltikanaRe Think of a Total War campaign I.E. it will begin with the same alliance etc, but can go whatever way it will. If I wanted a retelling, I'd read a book. ;)

Wonderful. I will sign on as either Athens or Sparta, preferably Sparta. I am well-versed in Greek history, though I may have to do some readings. The hardest part for all of us will be the Nation Sheet, but the posts are pretty much organic I suppose.
Is this a telling of the war or an alternate history thing?

The Cries of Terra

"This is our new home. Our home. May it not be our last."
– James D. Arborson

The Landings

You play as one of the four main landing squads. The role-play begins at ten seconds before breaking into the atmosphere of Neo Terra. The world's radius is approximately 6,000 km, 371 km less than earth's. The climate fluctuates 30˚ C from 35˚ C. It seems only plant life and small amounts of bacteria and single-celled organisms is to be found here. The planet's surface is 90% water and has no polar caps, although the water is considerably colder in the extreme poles.

The role-play will follow the setup and thriving, as well as the diplomacy, between the colonies that escaped earth in the apocalypse. The catastrophe was caused by bioweapons and excessive nuclear warfare, and every nation still has deep resentment of one another. The U.S. and E.U. vessels are likely allied, as are the Russian and Chinese vessels. It is unknown wether the colonial powers will engage in instant warfare or settle their differences. Either way, Earth is gone, and Neo Terra is the only future.

It is assumed that solar technology can now easily sustain a population at the rate an infinite amount of fossil fuels can in modern day. It is also assumed that laser technology has reached the point where titanium can be melted in 5 milliseconds by a sustained laser beam.

Didn't knew that name. Googled it, seems cool, but not a biome, but I'll definitelly add that to the world map.

About the RNG I really got interested, would love to know more about it. I wouldn't mind the console thing as I kinda like it. About the unit stats generation, that is something we can look into, as the units in the game are designed by the players with modules, modules that are acquired through research into different things like resources and/or places, or even finishing a contract made by one of the major nations, a deal with a major nation or a player nation, stealing tech from another player, or even reverse engineering a players unit.

Players will be able to design units of the types:

  • Infantry
  • Cavalry
  • Naval
  • Air
  • Space

SBMs are a type of Space unit that can transit through subland/land/air/space levels to arrive at its destination.

Are SBMs transport only or also combat capable?

Also, Fjords was mostly

Are SBMs only transport or combat ready?
Are there any alien factions?
Also, Fjords. Add Fjords.
