I for one say go for both. A larger card pool never hurts :)
MightyGos said Well that's some valuable information right there! I have no Speed Spells planned for that!

Our hero-to-be has no Spell Cards - let alone Speed Spells - if construction goes as planned.
The Headmaster turned to Michelle and told her: "I'll explain when we get there! Now we have to hurry!" Speeding through the campus grounds, they reached the clearing behind the Slifer Red dormitory. In a corner, a boy was lying unconscious, his deck scattered on the ground and his Duel Disk apparently fried. Pointing to the bird on his shoulder with one hand and pulling a card out of his pocket with the other hand, the headmaster said "Captain found this boy like this, and led me to him. I can't say for sure what caused this, but I'm not about to let something like this continue on this campus." Revealing the card to the group with him - Fabled Lurrie - Kolman continued "This card was on the boy when I found him. Since the lot of you with Spirit Partners are among the best we've got, I'd like for most of you kids to look into this elsewhere while I investigate here. Mr. Franklin, you'll be joining them for safety's sake; a bunch of students walking around in this situation sounds a bit risky, given this boy's state." Handing the card to Akio, he finished explaining the situation with "The children have Spirit Partners; they should be able to track this card back to its original owner. That's why I called them here."

Akio was taken aback: "I... understand, Mr. Kolman... but may I ask... why me, specifically? I mean... if it's really what it looks like, wouldn't it be better if you sent an actual professor with them? I'm sure many of the teachers are better duelists than I am".

"For a couple of reasons," Headmaster Kolman answered, lifting up the boy and slinging him over the shoulder that wasn't currently occupied by a well-behaved bird of prey. "First and foremost, I have a hunch that your deck would be effective against the culprit, based on the card. Secondly, you happened to be the first staff member I spotted, and the professors are all busy at present regardless. And finally, you seem to be a very intelligent young man; that's always a good thing to have when investigating something." Starting back toward the main building, Kolman concluded "For now, take Kine and Black with you. I'll keep MacBeth and Yamaguchi here with me in case this happens again while you three are away."

Being saddled with that kind of responsibility was definitely what Akio didn't want, but he couldn't say no to the Headmaster. Still, he was right. His deck would probably be really useful against a Fabled deck. They WERE, after all, LIGHT monsters. "Well... okay", Akio answered, "I'll start looking for the criminal at once, Mr. Headmaster. You two", he told Kim and Michelle, "Spirit Partners can trace images from the past of an object or something like that, right? Yours can do it?"

A high-pitched screech-like roar from Falco answered Akio. And to translate, Kim. "Falco says that it's something like that. If they hold the card, they can track down the spirit it belongs to; holding this card would at least get us in the right direction. Only, he doesn't have hands..." Looking at Michelle and her Spirit Partner, Kim said "Freya will have to do the tracking."
UE Cards, Volume 1
Alright, here's the first set of cards I'll contribute. It contains...
If nobody else wants to be the hero, I'll do it. Also, with YCM now functional again, I can do two things.
1) I'm now able to link the cardmaking tutorial Rethel mentioned, as well as an OGG guide (also referred to as OCG, but I use OGG) that sprung up as well.
2) I now have a batch of almost 50 cards to deposit, including two archetypes and a whole lot of general support cards for other deck types. Should I upload them in a .zip format and just link that, or do the long-ass list, or...?
Rethel34 said EDIT: Honestly, they look good to me, Scar. If Empire agrees I'll add them to the first post

If Rethel's cool with them, I'm not one to debate that \(=w=)/
Rethel34 said Oh, on the Man-Eaters, the reason I left "Man-Eating Black Shark" out most of the time is that he's a Fusion Monster and therefore can't be in your Deck or your hand. However, he can be in the Graveyard, which was why he was included in "Caramel's" effect. If you think I should fix it, I will, but I'm just offering my explanation. And thanks for those grammar catches, there. Those two cards were kind of made on-the-spot yesterday. :)

No problem :)

As for Black Shark, I wasn't really even aware it existed at all, and just sort of assumed it was another old-timey Normal Monster I'd never seen before. Though if that's the case, you should also add his name to Man-Eating Licorice's effect, since it affects "Man-Eating" monsters on the field.

EDIT: @Charak: ...Silver Fang IS a "Fang" monster :| so are Flyfang and Naturia Spiderfang
1Charak2 said explain this slowly what i did wrong with this card

Effect-wise, nothing really. It's just your OGG (Official Game Grammar) needing correction is all. (Yes, I'm nitpicking. It's not even noon here and I haven't had breakfast yet, so just bear with me here.)

That aside...
@Rethel:
1Charak2 said Ah This card is what Charak shall recieve later ...

Let's see now...
OGG Correction said 5 Level 3 Beast-Type monsters
As long as this card has an Xyz Material, it gains 200 ATK for each face-up "Fang" monster on the field. Once per turn, you can detach one Xyz Material from this card: Special Summon 1 "Fang" monster from your Graveyard.

Please Charak, OGG isn't that hard to learn or adhere to.

@Rethel: I just sorta skimmed through looking for the Man-Eating sweets, as it was getting kinda late where I was. Planning to have a more in-depth look at things today at some point.
Rethel34 said Now there is a decent number of Normal and Effect Monsters, 4 Synchro Monsters (b/c of Lightwaves and Mono-Tuning), and 8 Ignis Monsters (some ATK, some DEF to give variety) all in the first post. I'll get around to putting some of you guys' stuff in that post tomorrow. And maybe I'll get a CS done.

Man-Eating Cake called. He's feeling kinda sour that you forgot to add him and his deliciously deadly pals.
