Your Skype's been saying you were away all day and I didn't wanna bother you if that was the case ^_^;
Anyway, brought Apple and Bailey back, plus a new arrival.

@Charak & Rethel: I'm quite honored to be given the task ^_^ personally, my only complaint is that - barring Number 30: Acid Golem of Destruction, whose effects are all drawbacks - this has the highest ATK of any Rank 3 Xyz monster. I would personally drop it to 2500, putting it to have equal original ATK with Geargiagear XG, who currently has the highest ATK of any Rank 3 Xyz requiring three materials. This also means its boosted ATK can still range anywhere from 2700 to 3500; none of which are dreadfully low, while still keeping the maximum from being excessively high for what needs to be done to accomplish the amount in question.

@Gos: Looks pretty balanced now :)

3 Level 3 monsters
Once per turn, you can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card: This card gains ATK equal to the number of face-up Beast-Type monsters you control x200 until the End Phase.

You seem to really enjoy high ATK stats, don't you?
Why are we discussing C1000 in an RP that (I pray) will never see it anyway?

That aside, I won't be signing up for this RP, but I do plan to stick around. I want to contribute to the custom cards database periodically and help other users with their own custom cards, but the former will have to wait since - as I said - YCM's having problems.

EDIT: Other than the "Tribute monsters to add counters" effect on Immortal Skull Knight, and his effect enabling him to banish Spell/Traps as well as monsters, they don't seem too ridiculous...
To balance them out, I'd add a "Once per turn" clause on the adding counters effects of both cards, or in Knight's case, remove that effect altogether. Otherwise, that effect becomes outrageously abusable with zombies, Hieratics, and Infernities to a lesser extent. If you go that route, perhaps make it so that Knight can use his one counter to avoid a destruction or banish any opposing card, but indefinitely rather than just for that one turn (think BLS).
Rethel34 said While it's on my mind, I haven't poked around on the YCM forum for a while, but for everyone's sake so I don't rip out their hopes and dreams, Empire, do you think you could pull up a link for that big long tutorial thing from YCM on fair card effects and proper terminology? If not I might try to find it again myself, but it's been, like, a year at least since I've been there. Of course I won't be AS strict as that page, but it's for everyone's self-improvement.

Sadly, YCM is experiencing some virus problems, and I'm unable to access the site at present. The best I can do is link the 10 Laws of Cardmaking, which are almost as good as the tutorial you're thinking of.
Fish of Oblivion said Also goddammit Unending, you could have fookin' linked me.

Was gonna do that when I got the main thread up.

Which is, to say...now
Welcome back to Kalos Region, ladies and gentlemen. It's been a solid five years since the whole crisis with Team Flare came and went, and the esteemed Professor Sycamore has moved on to other regions to further his research into Mega Evolution. So who, just who, would take over his research? Meet Professor Apple, a Unova-born genius who shared Sycamore's interest in Pokemon evolution. She's gathered up four young would-be Trainers from across the Kalos Region, mostly via mail, explaining her interest in Pokemon research and how her studies mostly have her tied down in Lumiose City. Naturally, they accepted. The appointed quartet is to meet up at Aquacorde City, where they are to finally meet Professor Apple in person and receive their first Pokemon.

The time has finally come. Four young aspiring Trainers-to-be have gathered at Aquacorde Town, where Professor Apple is waiting for them.

I still maintain that it shouldn't be able to attack directly/your opponent takes no battle damage that turn if it uses its nuking effect. But GM Rethel has spoken, so imma comply. Back to CS work for me.
Rethel34 said 4500 is until the end phase.

...oh. I still think there should be a "Your opponent takes no further damage this turn" claus on that nuking effect at the least. Especially given it's otherwise just Exciton on steroids.
MightyGos said Welp, what the hell do I know about yugioh, right?

It's cuz your posts always end up between other posts
Rethel34 said Rank 4 Xyz Monster that requires 3 Xyz Materials. . . .I've seen a Rank 4 that requires 2 non-specific materials that has 2500 ATK. It's called Utopia.

Yeah, but Utopia has no nuking or ATK-gaining abilities on his own. He's just right there at 2500 - not a hard number to meet or exceed by any means in today's game - and is easily disposed of. But against 4500 ATK points staring you in the face...you pretty much need to destroy it by card effect. I for one think Charak should put it up on YCM's forums for better, more seasoned opinions on how to balance it out, but for now, imma just go back to working on my character.
