I'm going for a semblence of realism, but also gotta remember this is superpowers, and a colony on mars in 2200. I'm not going to expect EXACT science. I think the I like is absorbing electrical energy, maybe later on we can explore other sources which probably require more thinking on how to store it (As what's the use if when you want to use your power you need to be plugged in? A walking battery is much better).

But limits and all that can be worked on once we get CS' going.

Oh, I always imagined her as a walking battery. When I wrote "charged up" I meant it as charging a battery :)

Well, I was thinking, she mostly absorbed electrical energy, but discharged radiant energy. Maybe she could absorb all kinds of energy, but there is not much energy to be had in a rock falling or a bike driving, so she would mostly look for major sources of energy.
She would put her hand on an electrical outlet, charged up and blast beams from her hands.
However I also thought, she could create forcefields for protection. And... don't quite know the logical explanation for doing something like that.

There will be a being called the Watcher who will have a representative who will appear in the IC to train people however he's not going to be a factor till after whoeever is in prison is broken out. So before that you'll have to have been on your own. Also I like the idea that she needs to ABSORB the energy. It's a nice tidbit to add.

We'll see if we can get about 2 more people interested before I go making a OOC, I will be going to see Age of Ultron tonight though so time constraints :P

Good, I do like that there's a mentor character.
I'm glad you like the energy aspect of it. There is a lot that can be done with that, I think.

PS. I won't see Avenger 2 until Tuesday, so no spoilers :p

Well, I was thinking about doing a wise-cracking girl that absorbs energy and uses it for both offense and defense. Like energy beams and energy shields. But the strangest thing is that she sometimes sees and entity; a being of light who may or may not be real, and who has trained her to combat the system. At least that what it seems.
That was my thought.
