@OfficerHeadbutt All seems to be fine, you have mentioned one of the two I asked for so I will take that as a good sign. Just so you know, if you are using magic to give archie free spirit that will drain your life force and stamina at a decent rate, what I would say is when he isnt being used have him dormant. With the blow torch stuff, is that a glove or his finger, because you would need lots of tubing. Fix these and you will be great!
EDIT: Also please expland on your race, not just human say for instant asian human

Name: Lt Charles "Hatter" Richardson
Race: Pale Human (A normal human but has small wings on the back, seen as a smarter version of humans. Sheet white skin and red eyes. Like those white rats people have as pets)
Age: 38
Skills: A great sense of humor, a abilty to turn a crew to help him, Grand piolting skills, Diplomacy, A calm head, Fighting like a gent
Magic: He can slow time as to see it all, mainly only used when piloting a ship or in battle
Equipment: Sky iron plate mail (Like a kevlar vest, protects the front and back with plate and the sides with chain, its a vest though), Sky Iron leg plates, Copper monocle with adjustable sight (Only up to 2x zoom), Black Top hat, Red officers coat with a gold trim (Look a a redcoats coat and think more fancy) White riding trousers with Black knee high boots, Light brown sweeping hair, Deep brown eyes, Thin looking trim, White silk scarf around his neck with weathered storm goggles around his neck. Brown leather driving gloves, he carries on his back a large musket with the letters "SL LT C 'Hatter' Richardson Diamond Musket Company" it shows signs of lots wear and its wood has lost all signs of varnish (The musket is more of a repeaters, fires either normal rounds in a clip of 12 or explosive rounds in a clip of 5. Very rare gun), He has two basic looking muskets with the same lettering on the side (Fires ball bareings) and Straped on his leg is a sword painted in streaks of gold and blue.
Short Bio: LT Richardson has had a fine life, born to a high society family he lived in the last years of darkness. As a child he was obsessed with the world, seeing all the prototype ships flying past. He knew he had to join, luckerly for him he was a teenager during the turn of the century, a the time there was a huge call for adventurers to discover the lands beyond the horizon. He decided to see the world with a crew so joined the 23rd skylarks, a rag tag group of vagabonds and fruit cakes. It was amazing. But now the world is closing in on him and he needs to see what has happened beyond the mists and for that. He needs you! ((I know its bad but I want some mystery and I am tired when I wrote this.)

@OfficerHeadbutt Any creations are going to have to be engineered, maybe they have a mind of there own or a subconsious but I will have to say no magic aside from that, if you want them to have that power of say magic then it will drain your staminer to keep them active as magic is tied to the caster, if its powerful it sucks your staminer and life force faster but the longer you hold the weak magic the more life force it sucks, same with powerful. So yes you can have a spider with a turret but the ship wont be that big so couldnt fit very well if its big.

@OfficerHeadbutt No need, my freind demon has just joined and said he diddnt know. All you need to know is the outlines of it as most of the stuff we will be doing is investigating new worlds and lands. Doing quests and adventuring, no need to know everything about it, I for one know a decent ammount but am no pro.
