Mutations: Altered Appearance - When his mutation manifested itself at the age of twelve, Craven's appearance drastically changed. Instead of having relatively smooth, peach coloured skin, he now adorned dark blue, seemingly scaled skin. His previously light green eyes were replaced with almost cat-like, completely yellow eyes with a black scale design. His once black hair became a bright shade of crimson that seemed to prefer being slicked back. He also appears to have no genitalia to identify him as male or female anymore.
Shape-shifting - Mystique has the ability to alter his appearance to completely match someone else's, down to the cellular level. This includes their voices. He also has the capacity to shift into animals (Won't receive this ability for a while.)
Healing Factor - Craven has an enhanced healing factor that is able to heal minor wounds in several seconds and major injuries in minutes to hours, depending on severity.
Superhuman Agility and Flexibility - Mystique is extraordinarily flexible and has rather quick reflexes. He appears to be able to maneuver his body in ways that are very similar to a deadly contortionist or a very flexible gymnast.
Ageless - Mystique seems to have stopped aging at the age of eight-teen, not looking a day over. This is a side effect of his healing factor.

Special skills: Skilled Combatant - Excels in close quarters combat and stealth due to his natural flexibility, agility and light frame.
Skilled Actor - His many lessons with S.H.I.E.L.D and years of changing his appearance and personality in order to survive as well as complete minor missions have trained him exceptionally.
Strategist - His talent for acting gives him a slight insight into what people think, especially if he has had to go undercover as that person.
Background: Craven's abilities manifested themselves at the young age of only twelve, after living his previous years as a normal child it was only natural that he was frightened and surprised at the occurrence. His parents even more so, to the point of being frightened of him. However, the boy tried his best not to be discouraged and instead worked to master his abilities. He began practicing so much that he was able to completely control his shifting by the age of 15. It was at this time that he ran away from home after being called a monster by his father.
It took only a few month later that S.H.I.E.L.D found him and took him into Project: X-Men and taught him how to use his abilities for good. He took on the codename Mystique after the fact that people found him quite mysterious due to his constantly changing image not allowing him to present his real personality on a normal basis.
Additional notes: - Often goes around "Nude" due to his inability to shift clothes, yet somehow make it appear as if he is wearing clothes when shifted into someone clothed.
- Studied Mysticism and likes to meditate, uses skull shaped Chakra on forehead as a mental focuser to aid in concentrating for shape shifting.
